I love how when she was making the two extra sandwiches that she was aware of how she was cutting them and wondered how they like them cut. 💜 It is very sweet how much she cares about even the small details.

I had no doubt ever. She just has that nurturing spirit and would help as many children as possible. She's an absolute gem!! She's doing good work and she will forever be blessed with what she gives daily.

I would love to know more about YOU , what was your job before you tube ? What made you decide to have such a large family ? And what self care do you do ? Do you ever go out alone or have a date night . Do u have a nanny to help you or a house keeper for help . And financial tips for us who want a big family to understand how you navigate this . I think she was a cleaner on the weekend before and she also couldn’t conceive for a while I believe and I think that’s when she adopted the oldest one. I think it started with foster placements and they lead to the adoptions

She was a special education teacher, but did house cleaning once she started staying home with the kids. She gets some “me” time when her in-laws or parents visit. She’s said that they don’t have date nights. They don’t have a nanny or housekeeper, but they do get support from both sets of grandparents and the kid’s God parents. There are vlogs on how she budgets, shops and meal plans. They’re an amazing family and Alicia has the love and patience of a saint. ❤

I grew up in foster care, and bounced around. It was terrible, but towards the end I went to a home that changed my life forever. The love and kindness that family showed me gave me hope again. I can see that you and your husband are that special family ❤

As someone who was in foster care when I was five years old I say at least give it a shot. Those two precious kiddos need a loving home and that is what your family is about.
I have to say this was the most relatable video. I saw myself when you were like I woke up in a funk and you were just casual and relaxed contemplating life. I felt like I was in your kitchen. It was a different you today. I wanted to hug you and say you're GREAT! You are a beautiful person! HUGS!
Hello from Tennessee, I just found your channel this past weekend. You are a wonderful and caring lady, the kids are so blessed to have you as their mother. Last year I checked to see how many children were in need of foster homes and I was saddened to see, in the State of Tennessee there was over 8,000 children needing homes, this is so sad for these children. 🔹 I wanted to share with you, when making muffins or cupcakes or anything that uses a muffin pan, I always use a Ice Cream Scooper. It’s a lot faster and no mess.

Ok so I’ve just made breakfast bars at nighttime here in the uk, ready for my kids breakfast tomorrow. Been watching your videos and didn’t realise just how boring my kids breakfast had got same things etc, so I’ve come up with a new list of breakfasts to make them. Breakfast bars, blueberry muffins, peanut butter and jam toasted brioche… my kids are over the moon and the new list of goodies x

@@marlenmuller I made these at night so that I do not have to start cooking in the morning, I have multiple sclerosis so in the mornings I like to just make sure I can concentrate on ensuring my children are ready for school and then I can go to work as I start at 9 x

Hi I'm watching at 1015pm thinking my gosh you've got it together. Tho kiddos home on break, you still make them a lunch! What a great idea because being of 9, I remember our growing up days it was chaos in kitchen...Everyone wanting this that.. The dog, oh my snagged the bread though I heard him chomping on his food earlier. You're one amazing Mom! Can't wait to see the completion of casserole. I 💕 tacos, taco salad, taco casserole will be a treat!

I think we definitely saw I different side of you today, please dont misconstrue what im saying; I'm not saying that as a bad thing, I just mean I could sense your apprehension about taking in the 2 children and you feeling apprehensive is not a bad thing; it means you truly are taking the time to think all of the children's wellbeing. Oh! A good idea I’ve done recently is overnight crock pot steel cut oats. You can add fruits and nuts,cinnamon ,vanilla etc. Regular milk or any plant based milk works great. So many ideas for it on Pinterest. I recommend it as an easy option to mix things up. Plus it’s ready when you get up! :)

Every morning when I watch your videos I find myself getting up to go clean my kitchen and start cooking....while watching you clean and cook. Lol
Also a few vlogs back you said your family likes center cut bacon because its the least fatty of the cuts....I've been buying only center cut bacon ever since then, and I just wanna say THANKYOU from the bottom of my heart.

knowing specifically which variety of chips 12 different kids will want is the most impressive talent I've seen yet
I am a former fellow foster parent and I understand the need to want to help. Your heart is so big and honestly I would want to help too. Listen to yourself. The foster system is beyond broken and knowing it may get crazy but those kids will be fed, cleaned and have a good safe environment then that is what is important. Like you said you have to try. Even if it’s for a month or two… that is a month or two out of the system. I hope when they come they adjust well and your children adjust well. Fostering/kinship is not for the weak. Omg I about died when I saw the dog take the food! 😂😂
Bless you for taking those two children in. I know its going to be hard at first but it will be a whole lot easier, and better for the kids, because they know you all already. Maybe they can get adjusted a little quicker. I was always so scared when I had to move to a new place and family.

Here's something we do at work quite often, use an ice cream scooper to pick up the batter and put in the muffin tins. Works great

Hope the taco casserole turned out well. We do something similar here except we put Fritos Scoops on the bottom. It makes it like nachos sort of. You also don't have to worry about soggy chips since the scoops are pretty thick already. It works well when you're doing parties and/or buffet style meals. 👍😎

We have a new puppy on the house and he’s about the same age as Dixie. He is always under foot while cooking, I trip over him everyday. They are lucky they are cute.

I totally agree with you taking the two new members of your family, if you and your husband couldn’t cope, passing children on to older daughters like the Duggars etc do. If you couldn’t provide for the children you already have & they didn’t all have a bed to sleep in, not enough room around the table, children were hungry & snatching food off each other, gulping down food so no one could take it from them…then it would be a no!
But none of that applies. You can offer them safety, live, kindness, role models…
Isn’t it the best when the a kid comes up and says “that smells disgusting” or “that looks gross” while you’re in the middle of the labor of love of making them food?🤣 I know the struggle all too well.

I stopped the video at 45:36…. I wanted to tell you I commend you for trying to take on these 2 precious kids. I obviously don’t know the whole situation, but if they need someone, you and your husband seem to be the ones that could get them through this rough patch. They are at very impressionable ages and I think being in your family would help them stay on a good path in life. Even if it’s only for a season. Like you said, you would have tried. That’s all you can do…is try. I don’t have my children and I don’t want to be judged for that, but I wanted them to have more than I could offer. I was mentally struggling when they went with their dad. I believe you’re doing the right thing by them. And I can tell you, that mom thanks you. For being willing to pick up where she had to leave off. It’s not easy to let your kids go to someone. I have been praying for you and your family. God bless you guys!

You should have a 'Muffin Monday' and bake a ton of muffins so you can freeze some. It would be fun to see and would save you some time on those mornings you'd like a little break. Just take those muffins out to thaw while you're cooking bacon and eggs... You can enjoy more coffee that way . I'm not big on meal prep because I love freshly cooked food (like you), but I love making muffins and breakfast casseroles to freeze in individual servings so I just have to cut up fruit or cook breakfast meat to go alongside it. I only have one kid to cook for so I can imagine how much work it is for you - kudos to you for making sure they have something special each day versus a pop-tart or bowl of cereal!
I've noticed you tossing the offcuts of Alex's sliced apple a couple times now and wanted to tell you that my chickens love them, so you could totally throw those apple innards to your chickens instead of throwing them away! ❤️

You make them a lunch you have lunch boxes already for them, you make care baskets for them they are not even there yet and your already loving them and caring for them they will be so lucky to be in your family. I wish I had the get-up-and-go at 5 in the morning. I am the worst morning person. LOL. My 4 month old and 3 year old usually wake up around 7:30 and I'm miserable then. LOL. They start screaming and demanding things and trying to have conversations with me and I just don't want it. LOL. You are a super mom!
