This is an awesome groove. Trying to decide if I'm going to buy 2600 or not. I've got the Odyssey along with 3 other awesome modular synth. Really loving the 2600 though. Keep these wonderful grooves coming.
Thank you for this.. that arpeggio wad pure ear candy. I have the blue meanie. Its my first ever actual synth. Would love to see a walkthrough of constructing a piece like this.
I've been following you for some time but yesterday I decided to give credit to Arp Odyssey from Berhringer, I'm an enthusiast and I have several analog synths between old and modern and I tell you with absolute certainty, your video is the best on the net today... captured the essence of the synth which is its absolute connection to the human, we... I just bought my Odyssey today, yes, in 2022 thanks to your video... Thank you so much... And don't mind some criticism that say "every sound sounds the same, every synth is the same and so on", they are certainly people who have captured the purpose of the man and machine connection!!!!
Hello again 👋 it’s been a while since I got in touch with you… it was only a couple of comments so you’ll probably not remember me 😂 I just wanted to check how you are and if you’re still making music/videos? Your odyssey and 2600 videos inspired me a lot over the last two years and I ended up getting a 2600 and I have pushed my own channel since last September… I hope you’re well and good 😃👍
Excelente demo Rune, más allá de las posibilidades ofrecidas por los equipos electrónicos están tu sensibilidad y capacidad de composición que sencillamente son geniales, felicidades amigo...
this tune is so much more than just a demonstration... it's as amazingly beautiful as the first demo, and adding the drums is something i've wanted to do as well, so you beat me to it... and the arpeggio is heavenly!
Brilliant. I am a newb. Bear with please. Did you take the different sounds and layer them into a daw or multitrack... or is all this generated live... multitracked within the 2600? I want to evolve. I have a Linnstrument 200... and want a tactile hard synth to compliment and frankly do something of a similar ilk to what you do. So curious. THanks!
Beautiful Did you control from usb midi? What board would you control this with? I just bought the wavestate I have the deepmind12 I use my yamaha sy35 to control my wavestation A/D The next ones on my radar are Behr odyssey Behr monopoly Behr poly D Behr 2600 Yeah i know don't want much do i Lol Great music you do for sure
The sequence is controlled by a DAW (Reason), but originally it was recorded by the keyboard on the Odyssey via USB-MIDI, and then refined and improved in the DAW, before being sent to the synth while I use the sliders to evolve the sound.
Great new Version. Love the "old" one and this ist a great Update 👍. How or where can i get it? (...edit: found the new Version on Bandcamp. I miss the old Version 😞 in Bandcamp 😉)
The old version had a bit of a background noise problem, as I didn't use the high-level balanced outputs from the Odyssey on that one, so it didn't feel right to upload it to Bandcamp. I might just do a simple re-recording of it, with the sequence/riff only - we'll see. :)
Just wow! The 2600 is a very cool looking synth for sure, but in all honesty I feel you could have done the same masterpiece even on a much cheaper Behringer Crave or Korg Monologe because you know how to use an instrument. 👍
Love this what you using to sequence the tracks? The diversity in the main sequence and subtle changes are great. I've only listened to it once so far but sounds like maybe 4-6 variations of 4 bar sequence. Sounds different all the way through it and I love that.
Thanks! I use Reason as my sequencer and for audio recording + adding effects. The sequence was played by hand, with some variations here and there, and then I quantized it, fixed any mistakes, and did small adjustments in the sequencer. I think the hand-played origin of it gives it some natural variations that it would not have otherwise.
Beautiful! I own the Behringer Pro-1, and I’m probably going to (try) recreate (part) of your song on it. Which Delay and Reverb (plugin) are you using? (Delay 1 x 16th note to the right?)
This is a great synth and Christmas tree !
Nice work, finally we get to hear some actual music with this thing.
A year since I last listened to this piece…. Still as fabulous as ever. True joy to listen to and so inspiring!
This is really enjoyable1 Such a relief to hear someone make actual music with the 2600! Keep up the good work!
Got one of my own.
This track was a big push towards getting it.
I live for music like this.
Your original is what sold me on the Behringer Odyessy and now 2600!
Wow!...that's great work, well done. Behringer should use this as a demo, Love it :-)
Love this track! It reminds me of when I'd listen to late night NPR radio for musical inspiration when I was a kid back in the 90s.
This is such a beautiful song! Well done.
Man, I got goosebumps all over the body! Great presentation 👍
Whow this is such a beautiful track! Goes on my permanent collection. Thanks for sharing! 🙏
Wonderful. I love it.
dude, 2600 with this unconcerned masterpiece. everytime I hear this track, i feel the desire to buy the ODYSSEY and the 2600. *sigh*
I already loved this tune when you played it with the odyssey. Good job
On which video is this track with the Odyssey?

Beautiful!!! The B2600 sounds so gutsy... I thought I wanted one - now I know I really want one !
Amazing instrument. Behringer opens the door to many talented musicians.
Always a pleasure to listen to music instead of endless torturing of analog synths, as seen in so many videos :-) Thanks!
This video convinced me to start saving up. Very nice demonstration of the 2600's capabilities.
Wath a wonderful Sequenz 🎊👏🙌 for a Beringer 2600
Thx Mate 💪🙋♂️🎉
Thanks. May the Force be with you.
@@rufo 🤣
Every time you post a video I know it's gonna be worth watch and listen to, over and over again! :) I love all your fantastic work.
Thanks Anders!
Your music is so good!
Can you, please, do more? Your demos motivated me to buy my own synth 🎹
Bravissimo. Hai una anima allineata alle vibrazioni cosmiche.🤩
I love how you slowly make a story and the different layers of melodies; beautiful sounds. Easy to buy this synth hearing this :D
I was trying to convince myself to NOT buy a 2600, now because of your beautiful sounds and music I'm risking to buy one! Damn!
Hi
Wowww 👍🎧
Beautiful music my friend.
My congratulations. 💖🇬🇷
Thank you very much.
Thanks for the very kind words! 💖🇧🇻
What a lovely sequence! It shines on this 2600.
hay. I remember this sequence.
very nice back then. even better now.
Think I asked back then if I could edit it. but seems like I don't have to.
also you are cutting it to short. it needs a b section and abridge. maybe a section just with pads.
That one is fabulous but I prefer the one made with the Odyssey.
This is an awesome groove. Trying to decide if I'm going to buy 2600 or not. I've got the Odyssey along with 3 other awesome modular synth. Really loving the 2600 though. Keep these wonderful grooves coming.
Arp timbre is magic!
Endlich mal einer der Musik macht mit dem wirklich tollen Synthesizer!
Wow, love the sound! Strong argument for the Behringer 2600! Sadly it's sold out right now, would have made a nice christmas gift for myself ;)
Beautiful, just beautiful. I loved the sequence already on the odyssey...
Wow, what a amazing remake of this wonderful song!!!!! ❤️
It’s number one on my „Synthesizer Best Songs List“.
Thank you for this wonderful song! 🤩
I always revisit your channel in the hope of new uploads, hope your doing well.
Awesome! I had your old version in my "music" playlist while commuting. Now I have to add this one :)
back again. you know i went and bought a Behringer Blue Marvin because of this video :P
Thank you for this.. that arpeggio wad pure ear candy. I have the blue meanie. Its my first ever actual synth. Would love to see a walkthrough of constructing a piece like this.
Awesome…. The reason why I bought this synth!

Thanks! The Behringer Odyssey and 2600 are great synths.
