    I wish these softwares would tell you what a normal reccomended value is next to what your car is reading, the hard part is finding out what the normal value of things is supposed to be.

    Is there a book or chart that would give me a list of the sensors and what I should expect optimum readings to be for live data? Thanks for the videos!

      You're welcome! I do not have a resource that comes to mind. Some manufactures will provide expected readings in their service information. It sounds like a good idea to develop a cheat sheet like that, I'll see what I can do.

      New to doing my own repairs and I came across an obd scanner and no check engine lights and the truck is running good. But the scanner says shrtftb1s3 (%) .....99.2
      Is that normal?

    Can you use the tool to see faults that have stored in the journals . Where sometimes you do a fault read and the faults have cleared themselves. Is there a function you can go into to see if when the fault was logged it’s stored somewhere?

    What is PID?

    • @AdamsAnalysis
      @AdamsAnalysis  Рік тому

      PID is Parameter Identification. It's a term given to each listed piece of live data on the scan tool.
