Oh Dear Brother, dignity and humanity, yes. But what about truth? Does sharing apposing beliefs mean a lack of dignity and humanity. The day I finally realized the Mormon Church was not true, was the saddest day of my life. Now, after finding a true relationship with my Savior, Jesus Christ, i am at my happiest. God bless you.
Wow, look at all of you guys exhibit to the world exactly why they felt a need to make this comment in the first place. Insisting on commenting pointless “This is what you believe, lies!!” How silly guys. I left the Catholic Church to become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ and I never go on Catholic videos and comment about how they lied or how I “now have a relationship with Jesus”. I respect Catholics and the Catholic faith even though I no longer believe in its doctrine.
I myself am not a Mormon, but as someone who studies religion and history I love learning about other people's beliefs. I'm glad youtube can allow me to hear about this from actual Mormons and not only people who have a bias against the religion.
I am a member of the church. It's great to have a reminder of the whole story! I can use this with my youth group. It isn't a Church youth group, but many young people ask about our beliefs. This is a wonderful way to start a conversation. Thanks!

I honestly don't understand why a lot of people talk negatively about the Mormons. They go everywhere to help anyone they can. The 2 worst times in my life so far we're remedied by missionaries coming out of nowhere and talking to me. I will always defend the Mormons and I thank God for sending them to me in my times of need.
Most of the negativity about the Mormons I think comes from people who are either ignorant of the Mormons, find it hard or don't intend to keep the Mormon standard, or is critical of the Mormon culture and actions rather than their actual beliefs. A bit like the reason most people are atheist is not because of lack of evidence for God, but rather because they don't want to put in the time to seek the evidence or don't want for a God to exist. The negativity is unfair, but some of the criticism isn't. While the scriptures tend to teach that faith chases away fear, and truth should shine and be exposed, there are many Mormon's who also fear the truth of their own standards or Mormon history, which is not good. But this fear and hiding of truth is never as bad with the Mormons as with world leading organizations and nations, the CIA, KGB or CCP, so it still remains as one of the better organizations in the world even if it does not live up to the standards taught in scripture.
Completely agree. Unfortunately, I do believe Mormonism is false. Open to change of mind but, Lord willing, I make the decision and find the evidence no matter where it leads that I be Mormon. I look into Christian apologetics and some apologist I watch say that they have not found evidence for the Mormon faith to be true. However, I greatly commend them for their consistency with living out their faith, although, I do think the ceremonial practices of Mormonism are wicked or false from what I've heard whether fallacy or truth.

I was raised Lutheran and am so blessed to be open to ALL religions. If one has ever read of the Tower of Babel, one would understand that it takes all kinds of people to spread the word of God. Having lived in Utah, I have lots of Mormon friends and I adore my Mormon family. But I am a member of the Lutheran church because it’s what my parents are, and it’s how I was raised. I welcome the Mormon missionaries into my house and pray with them, always offering my home as a place of safety for them. It is just ludicrous to judge each other and think in our tiny brains that only one religion should exist! Re: Oliver Downunder My gosh, Oliver brother, mate of hate! Wondering how you have so much time on your hands such that you can stroll and troll LDS media! Brother of blown smoke, why spit spite, not to mention blanket misinformation? Those who are informed know that there is _enough_ peripheral evidence to point to the possibility of the former existence of the Nephite/Lamanite/Mulekite peoples. Remember, brother of blather, _lack of evidence is not proof against a thing._ It merely means that evidence is lacking, that’s all. Brother of blunt suggestion, of blustery blurb, of bold bunk: I for one am thankful that we don’t have hard-fast physical proof of the authenticity of the Book of Mormon, because otherwise we Latter-day Saints would have a church full of shallow, insincere people who are there only because of museum evidence. @@likhitachiramala7962 Hold on there, sister Likhita! May I add an idea for you and I to toss around? There really is no verse in the Bible that says there will be no more of God’s word. And Revelation 22:18-19 was not the last book written. Additionally, one wonders what we would do with Deuteronomy 4:2, which says the same thing as Rev. 22:18-19. You see, the Revelation 22 passage is merely telling _man_ not to add to God’s word. But it never says that _God Himself_ will not add to his own word. I was here for the musical and was fascinated by the lesson ! I know many Mormon people and they are wonderful caring people that live life by those beliefs. None of us should put down another due to beliefs. If you die then you find out. Otherwise if you have no faith then what is the point of life? I expect each person to feel they have the truth or life is unbearable.
I grew up being an 'anything but the Bible person'. After being a monk dedicated to truth for many years I finally decided that I had been in denial of the Bible and it was dishonest of me to think I knew better. I had found a book of the Mormon in the trash, and thought it was the Bible. I began reading and suspected that I was reading pure fiction after about a page and 1/2. 3 pages later I was positive that I was reading a work of pure freshly made fiction. I then went on the Internet and typed in Book of Mormon fake, and learned the truth about it. Shortly after I went and got a real Bible and felt every word to be true immediately.
We don't know where Lehi landed. The map displayed is a hypothetical map based on geographical information in the Book of Mormon and is purposefully not rendered to fit an existing location.

People who have never read the Book of Mormon have come to the conclusion that it's a fabrication. Meanwhile, they call people who have studied it all of their lives and who have come to very different conclusions naive. SMH
We have traveled through more than 12 U.S. states filming hundreds of locations where Native American mounds, great earthworks (with a pyramid east of St. Louis called Cahokia, which is larger at its base than Tehotihuacan in Mexico, which I have been to, or the great pyramid of Giza in Egypt!) 🤪 Did any of you know that? The archaeologists even know how many millions of baskets full of dirt it took to create that pyramid approximately. Most the documented sites align with the histories of 3 major civilizations that the Book of Mormon testifies of. They correspond with the people that lived during the Book of Mormon times: 1) The Clovis Culture was Adam & Eve’s time & after, 2) The Adena Culture corresponds to the dating of the Jaredite peoples who left the Tower of Babel to come to this, the Promised Land. 3) The Hopewell Culture corresponds to the knee fight and Lamanite periods during their worrying times until 425 A.D. Just Google search any of those three cultures and you will spend the rest of your life seeing Mounds of evidence… Pun intended! Just because you say it isn’t true does not mean anything because not one of you have studied the Book of Mormon who is saying negative comments that reveal that you don’t know what you don’t know until you do. I am inviting you to study it out for yourself and then ask your own core spirit and our Almighty God if it is true. You can sincerely know for yourself. Ask the creator if it is true. You can know ALL truth through your own knowingness as you truly seek for truth, whether it comes from life experiences, faith, or not! I can tell negative people’s comments are because of the attitudes they have toward life in general. True followers Jesus Christ, he who created this beautiful earth, are NOT smug and ignorant. Anyone who loves truth knows that the more we learn, the more we realize how much we DON’T know, but all truth is knowable! Whether now or in the future, all truth is Noble and Know-ABLE. I could go on and on... I have lived in Mexico and studied many Layers upon layers of history and archaeology there in central America as well. But, do United States of America is a covenant land and I invite everyone to live up to know what a covenant is and prove to yourself whether you have the courage to study more truth for yourself...whether toward eternal truths or not. Faith works both ways. If you believe in evil, that man was created selfish and dark, your faith in that belief will prove you right. If you want to attract that energy in your life, you will for fill your own prophecy. But there is more, always more. What do you want? Goodness in this world, or not? If you want goodness, honesty, light and truth, then choose it! Have the courage to read the Book of Mormon with a sincere prayer in your heart. Do you have the guts to invite the beauty of our Jesus to be your Friend to claim your gifts, guidance, and growth? It’s up to you if you cheat yourself right out of being the captain of your soul with the All-Universe Coach who will always love us, no matter if we love Him back or not. I know Him and know that He is real...and He may even walk among us. Like the last man standing at the end of the wars described in the Book of Mormon, I will be happy to face any and all of you at the pleasing judgement bar of God...because I choose my Savior of which this Book testifies of. No, We won’t want to condemn you. You are already doing enough of that to yourselves. We all do that. 😝 So let’s be wise and trust our own faith walk (or crawl...lol) toward light & love. Eventually, I hope we come together as fellow journey buddies!
The ending is so powerful, I feel a witness from the Holy Spirit that this is true both times I watched it. For those listening with an open heart, see what you FEEL at the end of the narration. It is TRUE, I can FEEL it in my heart. Great video, thank you for creating this!
Thanks for sharing video. Am atheist by upbringing but really interested in learning about all the faiths in the world, my only issue is not with one's personal faith, just when conflicts arise between some people sometimes unfortunately, and the occasional disturbed individuals who then can potentially give a reputation thrown in the direction of undeserving countless good people who belong to a particular faith. All the very best.

They kept a record. Thats what he's telling you. Its the Book of Mormon. They kept many records. The Algonquin, Iroquois and others among the 5 nations have haplo group x in their DNA. The hopewell, Beaker and Mound builder civilizations are the people spoken of.
@@kmills1231 You haven't done much research then. The beaker culture, mound builders, Hopewell and adena cultures all exactly coincide with the timeline. Read "Rough Stone Rolling," by Bushman. Its a biography on Joseph Smith written by a Mormon Harvard historian. All the good, bad and the ugly is in there. It definitely has a Mormon spin on it, with justifications for Joseph's bad behavior but the behavior is at least in there and no one can accuse it of being a hit piece since its written by a Mormon and sold on the bookshelves of Deseret bookstores.
Check out their "doctrines & covenants", specifically 132, and you'll learn why, ultimately, their teachings and beliefs are wildly contradictory to what Jesus taught. There's also something in Nephi (I think 2nd Nephi) about why black people exist.
I would recommend listening to General Conference talks on the official Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints UA-cam channel. They are usually about 15 min long.
@@heyodudes I am a novelist. I have a Master's degree in History. I speak, read and write other languages. As narrative fiction, it is unreadable. Blame Solomon Spalding!
The Book for Mormon is a very spiritual book. It is very similar to books in the Bible except it was written 1800 years later. The theology of the book touches upon many issues that were relevant in the 19th century and many of the concepts are very applicable now. Though the author Joseph Smith Jr wrote the book for those in the early 19th century so many positive life lessons can come from it. I encourage people to have a open mind when examining it and just link it exclusively to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

I love this video so much. Thank you for creating this clear and accurate explanation of The Book of Mormon's true history. I am a more visual learner, so this really helped me see the big picture.
Personally the Mormons I’ve known In my life were some of the most kind and loving people I’ve ever known. Didn’t matter who you were or what you did in your life, they were so sweet and loving and I think that really is something I admire. I feel like there’s so Much criticism on the religion but tbh the people are just different in such a refreshing and respectable way, it makes me curious
I love the information in this video! The only thing that’s bothersome to me is the inaccuracy or at least assumption that it took place in South America.
There is no assumption that this took place in South America. The map is an internal map showing relationships between locations and is not based on an existing geography.
People disparaged the book of mormon’s mention of horses for over a century, citing the utter lack of any evidence of horse remains in any proposed geographical region the events of the book could have taken place in. Several months ago concrete evidence for horses that fits the time period and general location was found and absolutely no one says a word about their favorite anti-mormon argument being soundly debunked. What’s the deal?
The deal is there are loads of genetic evidence proving that native americans did not come from Jerusalem. There's no archaelogical evidence either. Theres no linguistic evidence. Egyptologists proved that Joseph Smith could not read Egyptian hieroglyphs. I genuinely dont mean any disrespect but the facts speak for themselves. Theres just no way the book of mormon is true, and evidence showing that there were horses in the Americas pre-european contact doesnt prove anything. Was this honestly a "favorite argument". I think people care way more about the "native americans were actually white" thing.
Can you please provide a link to the concrete evidence you are referring to? I genuinely want to know. I have tried searching for it but can’t find it anywhere.
Thank you so much! the Book of Mormon is true. I had friend who tried to convince me about the LDS Church. For years since elementary, we always competed each other try to prove one's belief wrong. He sometimes cried because I always get mad and made fun of the church. He then passed away a views years later. And now to my surprised, I am blessed with the same Church I used to make fun of. I am now a witness of the BOM and the Church to be true. God then allow me to see many miracles happened to me in my life. One of the craziest miracles that happened to me was that I predict a friend to be hospitalized after he made fun of God in front of me. I told him he'll get sick just in the next day. After a week his parents left the hospital to see my parents. I told them the whole story. My friend been in the hospital until I noticed. Obviously, I didn't expect that to happen but somehow I said it and it happened. God made it happened according to His will. Put God first!
I was about to comment the same thing, I was wondering whether this was a story to help people find faith in God, or if it actually happened. Then I started researching more, it's inconceivable to believe that a great civilization lived here before we did and we have not found anything pertaining to them...
@@magical8013 Indeed. Now ask yourself how we have historical records of Chinese civilization taking place at a time when the planet was supposedly submerged in a great flood?
I wish I could find it right now but Tucker Carlson did an interview where he talked about early American civilization he mentioned how he grew up mocking Mormons for believing in this people but said he was going to stop because there IS evidence that history has forgotten. Look up the serpent mound. There were people that build mounds that aligned with the stars. Kind of incredible. Some are located in Ohio too.
The scariest thing about leaving beliefs behind is the uncertainty in the path ahead. I encourage you to personally analyze your beliefs, and perhaps uncover beliefs which may not hold up to reason. My point is a man may believe in god, but he doesn’t have to necessarily believe Eve was created from a rib.
Question about Christ in America: Are there any remains in the ruins or in Native American history that include the fulness of the gospel as presented personally by Christ when He visited them in the Americas?
Which remains? The gospel was mainly spoken oral teachings, so unless someone took the time to record it, there would be no remains. I'm not saying it's real, I'm just saying there's no way to know either way 😅

Through Christ I was able to turn my life around from the direction I was heading and through the church i was able to find the safety and stability I was searching for and needed. I am open minded to interpretation of enlightenment and I yet have my faith and keep my testimony strong. I would like to invite you to read the new testament and the book of Mormon. One thing to keep in mind is if Jesus came to save the world, why is it not he didn't come to the Americas according to popular belief. Jesus did come to the Americas to continue his worldly ministry. If he didn't, how could he had been the savior of the world. I give you kudos for standing up for your beliefs, not many do that nowadays. Once more I invite you to read the new testament and the book of Mormon. Love and blessings.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints is true and the Book of Mormon is another testimony of Jesus Christ and gives to us the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This is Gods work and not mans. I testify it is true .
The first time the word Christ is used is when an angel reveals it. Prior to that they used the term messiah. The word “Christ” only enters the record upon revelation
President Bednar recently said, “the Book of Mormon is not primarily a historical record that looks to the past. Rather, this volume of scripture looks to the future and contains important principles, warnings, and lessons intended for the circumstances and challenges of our day. Hence, the Book of Mormon is a book about our future and the times in which we do now and will yet live.” as I’ve read the BOM this year this is so plain to see! Especially in 3rd Nephi before Christ visits the Nephites. We are also in a time before Christ comes again. The parallels are incredible! I testify this book is true. Christ really did live on the earth. He really did visit “sheep not of this fold” as he stated in the Bible. And he really is coming again. Let us all humble ourselves, repent and prepare for His return and millennial reign. Zion or bust! Can’t wait.
I love Mormons but I'm no fan of Mormonism. There video is just a summation of their number one book. It adds some stuff into the story that I haven't yet read in the Book of Mormon and so I'd guess those bits are from later "revelation." That being said, their summation seems accurate enough to the claims of the book. As someone that looks at the story a bit more critically, I can only say that the Book wasn't impressive to me and is down right out of context in the majority of its pages. The initial story is interesting but seems to pull from elements found in the Bible such as the Exodus and wandering Hebrews narrative. The first book is very hard to read because every other paragraph beings with "and it came to pass." Try it for yourself and you will see what I mean. Its excruciating. It then quotes whole chapters of Isaiah, but the most surprising thing is that none of the theology is pre-exilic Judaism as should be the case. Its not just New Testament theology but it outlines the entire NT, as prophecy, down to the names, means and places. It even speaks of crucifixion which was unknown in the ancient world. There is no praying east to the temple. There are no required Jewish festivals and nothing parallels how God spoke through his prophets of the OT. From there everything so far has been very repetitious. Group A bad, Group B good, then Group B becomes good and Group A becomes bad. Over and over again with little to no detail and all covering lands that we have absolutely no evidence ever existed. I've only read through Alma which I want to say is about half way through, maybe a bit more so I'm interested in seeing how it reads when Jesus shows up on the scene. Oh that reminds me of one more critique. Nearly the entire book sounds like it was written by the same person except for just a few places that certainly has a different vernacular. Hope that is what you are looking for.
Great animation and summary. I'm curious about why you left out that the Lamanites were "cursed with black skin", whereas the Nephites' skin was "white and delightsome". Thanks😊
Today the Church disavows theories advanced in the past that black skin is a sign of divine disfavor or curse. For an in depth look at this topic I have another video - ua-cam.com/video/PDJ6-O5-ans/v-deo.htmlsi=LmrU7cKXC60C0WI7 Our prophet Russell M. Nelson stated, "“I assure you that your standing before God is not determined by the color of your skin. Favor or disfavor with God is dependent upon your devotion to God and His commandments and not the color of your skin” (“Let God Prevail,” Ensign or Liahona, Nov. 2020, 94).
The church is getting "blacker and blacker" every day as the church is growing most rapidly in Africa . Members of the church read the stories of brown men in the Bible and worship a Savior who in mortality was not white. Clearly the church is for all....and God is no respecter of persons and the scripture has a different meaning as my friends from Kenya and Nigeria understand clearly as well.
I'm a Jehovah's Witnesses and I honestly love mormons. They are genuinely friendly people who love God and want to worship Him. By the way, we share a lot of beliefs like tatoos are wrong, alcohol abuse is wrong, smoking is wrong etc.
But Jesus drinks a lot of wine in the bible, turns water into wine more than once and there's nearly no chapter without someone having a vineyard. Also mormons say, coffee and tea are not healthy and leading to addiction which is definetly wrong from a medical point of view. Instead they do nothing against overuse of drinks containing sugar. Sugar IS addictive.
I'm just learning about Mormonism as a friend recently told me he was in the church. I've read a bit, some of it very confusing so this was helpful. The other stuff I read had some bizarre story about some guy using stones like eye glasses to translate the plates, I suppose that wasn't necessary. Thanks for making it clear.
Thats the urim and thummin special seer stones that the prophets used back in the time the book of mormon was being written, seers can translate texts like how they translated the jaredite book with those stones, they were an object that used faith to work like moses staff, the ark of the covenant, the metal serpent on the stick, the leahona, etc Joseph smith used those stones and his own to translate the book of mormon using faith to make the stones work
@@kmills1231 the people of that time believed that seer stones could be used to find treasure, Joseph smith used his to transcribe the book of Mormon from the golden plates the abridged record of the people of Nephi son of lehi put down onto plates of metal to testify to future generations of people that Jesus did come and administer to the people of America after he died in Jerusalem
The Book of Mormon was written to us and for our day. This just covers the historical groups and a basic timeline, it doesn’t give much insight into the actual content and purposes / lessons of the record. It is a witness of Christ and a warning of evil for our day.
Thank you for this video! I am from the UK and had never seen or heard if Mormons until they were referenced in American sitcoms. When Naomi says "And the rest you know!" I'm afraid I have no idea what happens next or the principles of the MORMON people. Please could you recommend some videos or easy reads to help? Thank you have a blessed day x

Would you rather get evidences from archeological or the holy ghost? The holy ghost can testify to you. If you consider yourself a true follower of Christ or someone who sincerely seeking the Kingdom of God, you could've humble yourself and ask your creator and ask Him in Jesus's name, and He will manifest the truth of it to you by the power of the holy ghost.
Man the Book of Mormon is so interesting I don’t believe in Mormonism and I despise the leadership but the Book of Mormon is very well written and Mormons are pretty nice people well if they don’t.. I’m not gonna talk about that
May I suggest you watch the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints general Conference on the official channel? It would be very hard to despise the leadership if you are actually listening to them rather than what people say about them. Even if you disagree with them it’s so clear they are sincere and good people.
👏🏽 as an indigenous who was forced into this belief by nonnative missionaries who came into our reservations & took us from our homes (many forcefully) telling us our traditional ways & anything cultural were evil & wrong & was brought up in the Joseph F. Where's the submarines that came from Israel to the Americas? Since there was no horses in the Americas before Europeans arrived does that mean that it was deer and moose they were riding into battle? I have so many questions.
I think Joseph Smith got the idea from the parts of the book of Esther that were left out of the bible. It talks about a diaspora from Israel to possibly the Americas. It talks about god calming the (what's assumed as) Pacific ocean. He mixed in some Gnosticism and went ham after that.
Thankyou Ethan and Naomi and James, what a wonderful Video. I am a Latter- Day Saint and all I did was simply ask God to know the truth. The Book of Mormon is indeed a true account of the peoples of the Americas who originally came from Israel and along side the Bible testify's that Jesus is the Christ the Son of God, our Heavenly Father, just pray, ask God
Thanks for the video! I brought back a Book of Mormon from my visit to Utah a few years ago, but never got to reading it. I always wondered what it said. Question: What is the land that is depicted where the Nephites, Lamanites and Jaredites reside in around 3:05? Is that North and South America?
The Book of Mormon is a record of God's dealings with members of the tribes of Israel in the ancient Americas but it has not been revealed exactly where. There are many opinions and theories by members but I have chosen to just represent an internal map of how the book describes itself although at 06:50 you can see that it is somewhere in North and/or South America. For more on the position of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on this topic, check out: www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/manual/gospel-topics/book-of-mormon-geography?lang=eng
I liked it! The narrators did a great job. Leave them in. The only thing I need to say about it is that I think there should be music throughout - from beginning to end. It really added to the drama of the video. At the part where the narrator says "...and Lehi died..." (3:05) is where it ends, and I kept wondering why.
I once heard a story very similar to this one...it was about this hobbit known to his people as Frodo and his group of followers that called themselves the fellowship of the ring. Together they set out on a journey to destroy the gold One Ring and save middle-earth from the evil lord Sauron....there were wars and battles in this book as well. Hey, that reminds me, have you checked Mordor to see if your gold plates are there?
Are you kidding?! One does not simply walk into Mordor. There is evil there that does not sleep, and the Great Eye is ever watchful. It is a barren wasteland, riddled with fire and ash and dust, the very air you breathe is a poisonous fume. Not with ten thousand men could you do this. It is folly.
3:10 What’s intresting is that both Lamanites and Nephites might have been both called Olmeks or whatever group of people they mixed with and whatever those groups of people called themselves then, in the decades after arriving to a land that was for sure already populated. So Lamanite and Nephite terms might have only been religious term to describe people who belonged to the church and who tried to destroy them. And the Lamanites likely didn’t call themsels Lamanites because if it was a religious term and they didn’t believe the group that followed Christ’s teachings, they called themselves whatever they were. Like when Nephites fell out of the church and the Lamanites repented and came back to the church, they became the Nephites and the others became the Lamanites, but they were both still Olmeks or Maya. And when the Nephites were destroyed the remaining people most likely didn’t call themselves Lamanites, but instead both terms and all Nephite beliefs and practises were quickly wiped out.
This is excellent and what I've been looking for. I'm not sure if you are still asking for feedback, but here are some thoughts: 1. The narrators are excellent. Very articulate and enunciate well. However their voices are clearly young. Initially the narration sounds "odd" because it's not what I expected. My suggestion would be to create some context in the title of the video. Like "The Book of Mormon in 8 Minutes narrated by Seminary Students/Youth/Something to let me know to expect young voices" 2. At 6:10 the fonts are too large. Wars and preaching touch the other words, and preaching doesn't fit in the screen. Using that many different fonts at once also makes it hard for the brain to read them. My suggestion is to put each word inside of a box. Fill the box with white set to a transparency of 50 to 60% so that you can still sort of see the map behind it. Then place the word inside the box. That way they will stand out and be easy to see. And I'd just pick one of those fonts for all the words. I think you use papyrus for intrigue. That might be a good one. (Probably the only time in my life I'd ever recommend papyrus, don't tell my BYU students.) 3. At 8:03 The gold box is too big. It encompasses too many words and I don't know where my eyes are supposed to go. I would recommend just putting a box around verse 5. As it is right now the first word I read is "tent" which is actually the second half of the word "intent" which is in the middle of a sentence. 4. I like that you use small caps for the Copperplate Gothic Bold titles and text . Reading text in all caps is hard on the eyeballs, but small caps makes it much easier to do it. One of my beefs with Copperplate is the tiny little serifs. A sans serif font is easier to read on a digital screen. You might want to consider Franklin Gothic Bold instead. I think it's an excellent video for visual learners. Good job.
Well arch angel Gabriel is well know through out the Middle East. It’s in most cultures in that region. A lot of legends and stories speak of him. The Muslims Arabs just got one story of him that they received revelation from God
First is Paul the apostate. Prophet Muhammad is pure from your lies, he actually led to the true religion of Jesus, as Jesus was never a Christian, Jesus worshiped God as did all prophets before him, and idolators will suffer on Judgement Day when God alone will judge, He Who's free of need of a son, and the Merciful who'll make justice unto those who ignored His Mercy and chose lies and unto those who sought His Mercy by righteous work.
This is a well made video. I don't believe the story at all but it definitely does a great job of walking us through the narrative. It's actually a really cool story, one that I wish was true!!!
The Book of Mormon is true. I have studied it, I have prayed about it, I have inquired of the Lord with faith in Christ for a surety if it is true. And God has made these things known unto me by the power of the Holy Ghost. And you can know it too. I invite you to do what I did. Read the Book of Mormon, study it, and pray and ask of God with a sincere heart with real intent if the book of true. I promise you according to the heed and diligence you give unto Him, He will manifest the truth of it unto you by the power of the Holy Ghost just like He has done with me and all who have sought this truth. And if the Book of Mormon is true, and I testify that it is, then the prophet Joseph Smith was a true modern prophet of God, and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Lord’s church on the earth. Seek truth from God, He will lead you in the way of life and salvation. I so testify in the name of Jesus Christ amen!

You can tell me about your religious, or non-religious beliefs (please), and you can ask me more about what I believe (I love to talk about it). But lets prove that people in the comments section can still have humanity and dignity.
Brother Fullmer isn't it arrogant to think you know what the meaning of life is?
Oh Dear Brother, dignity and humanity, yes. But what about truth? Does sharing apposing beliefs mean a lack of dignity and humanity. The day I finally realized the Mormon Church was not true, was the saddest day of my life. Now, after finding a true relationship with my Savior, Jesus Christ, i am at my happiest. God bless you.

Christ's church faces fierce opposition
@eternallyfree95 it can be conformed by the spirit
They believe funny stuff but they are cool!
The declaration of Independence is around but the golden plates are gone??
Of course! If we had the golden Plates people would take us much more seriously.
I think we need to see if Nicolas Cage can find them.
The people who had the declaration of independence weren't chased thousands of miles to avoid death.
Spartan Life Even if that’s what he meant, it’s a stupid comment. The Mormons don’t have a monopoly on being persecuted for their beliefs.

Re: Oliver Downunder
My gosh, Oliver brother, mate of hate!

Sam Huff dude listen look if now day some one said they say Jesus would you believe them? Why not many have testimonies so you choose not to take there word? How many different religions are there? 1% or 2% could be a lot in this world you know why? Cause there so much false an truth that maybe that 1% is so if you say these thing then you judge all religion based on there terms an beliefs. Why must we all argue over a stupid label or where we pray to GOD that the problem ya all are wanting your religion to be number one an that all the rest are fake. Not the case buddy if your catholic are saying the rest aren’t right ? We seek God not a label not church not Lutheran not Mormon not catholic not jehovah witness I seek God that all I seek !

Why is it everytime I hear this story it is slightly different?
Ppl depict it differently. You gotta read the actual book for yourself
Quick question...where did Lehi land in the Americas? I can't quite tell where that is, geographically.
We don't know where Lehi landed. The map displayed is a hypothetical map based on geographical information in the Book of Mormon and is purposefully not rendered to fit an existing location.
I am convinced of The Heartland Model but respect the neutrality of this video on that issue.
Hey Rob I respect your opinion on this. However, take a look at this article from National Geographic news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2013/11/131120-science-native-american-people-migration-siberia-genetics/

Thanks for sharing video. All the very best.
Seems to me, from their inception, the Jewish people have been immaculate record keepers. Why would they have abandoned that habit after coming to the new world? Wouldn't that alone be kinda HUUUGE?
Obviously they are good record keepers and that is why we do have the Book of Mormon.

You could read the Book of Mormon also… Rough stone is huge
Check out their "doctrines & covenants", specifically 132, and you'll learn why, ultimately, their teachings and beliefs are wildly contradictory to what Jesus taught. There's also something in Nephi (I think 2nd Nephi) about why black people exist.

I love the information in this video! The only thing that’s bothersome to me is the inaccuracy or at least assumption that it took place in South America.
There is no assumption that this took place in South America. The map is an internal map showing relationships between locations and is not based on an existing geography.
Funny how that works.
Thank you for giving me the brief version of something I have no ability or patience to sit through and learn about myself.
You are an absolute idiot, the Book of Mormon is complete and utter nonsense
I never knew anything of this! It’s like a fantasy novel. With respect.

@@gwenmangelson The Book of Mormon?
What musical are we talking about here?
I'd like you hear it from both perspectives both the people who are for the Mormon Church & Against it to get a better idea of what it truly is.
For an in depth look at this topic I have another video - ua-cam.com/video/PDJ6-O5-ans/v-deo.htmlsi=LmrU7cKXC60C0WI7
Our prophet Russell M.

Man the Book of Mormon is so interesting I don’t believe in Mormonism and I despise the leadership but the Book of Mormon is very well written and Mormons are pretty nice people well if they don’t.. I’m not gonna talk about that
Same
It's a decent book, but the excessive usage of the word "yea" kinda bothers me.
May I suggest you watch the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints general Conference on the official channel? It would be very hard to despise the leadership if you are actually listening to them rather than what people say about them. Even if you disagree with them it’s so clear they are sincere and good people.
@ Bro that’s a lie! They run a cult! Specifically a Joseph Smith cult of personality ask any Ex Mormon about it!
As a person descended from Native Americans, I find the Book of Mormon to be highly offensive.
👏🏽 as an indigenous who was forced into this belief by nonnative missionaries who came into our reservations & took us from our homes (many forcefully) telling us our traditional ways & anything cultural were evil & wrong & was brought up in the Joseph F. Smith, Harold B. Lee Spencer Kimble era where they blatantly said, our dark skin was because we were cursed, and that if we believed in the LDS principles, then we will be white again in the afterlife 🫤 look it up in church history, I’m not telling you anything that can’t be found via the church’s “authorize sources”. glad I made the decisions. I did to live my life how I wanted to and wish others I loved would. Then there’s a CES letter…
@@edwardrivera4730 yeah, the federal gov’s attempt @ extermination failed & im/were the survivors of that. many organized religions bombarded our native ancestral homelands after negotiations between the tribes & the the feds after our ‘surrendering’ & it just so happened that the LDS (faith) missionaries were the ones to 1st to occupy the geographical area of where my ancestors were & thus forcibly took many of the native young children & in turn put them in ‘placement’ programs off reservation & in many cases, changing their names because our traditional names was hard to pronounce & not god-given from a savage culture. to this day, I have a full-blown Caucasian sounding name to which I have to say, works in my favor in the “real world” when it has :) many of my extended family, who have had their moments of realization change your names back to our traditional ancestral surnames, in recent years as I had the opportunity to, but did not chosing to ‘work the system’ playing their game which i’d have to say has worked out ok for me most my life. i’m just glad many policies have changed since I was forced to attend, include the redactions the church has done but i guess that just means the apologist are going to keep busy.

How did the tablets end up in upstate New York?
The Hill Cumorah is where Moroni, Mormon's son, buried them. The Hill Cumorah is in upstate New York.
Reality is there were no plates they claimed to have seen them in a vision
I really liked this, well done.
Well done Jay! Love it and the way you explain the coming and contents of the Book of Mormon.
The book of Mormon inspires me to be a better person and to have faith 🙏 in God.

Well, that was fabulous. Very Well Done! (Congrats to those involved in production.)
@@brotherfullmer Perfect reply!
I'm not sure if you are still asking for feedback, but here are some thoughts:
1. The narrators are excellent. Very articulate and enunciate well. However their voices are clearly young. Initially the narration sounds "odd" because it's not what I expected. My suggestion would be to create some context in the title of the video. Like "The Book of Mormon in 8 Minutes narrated by Seminary Students/Youth/Something to let me know to expect young voices"
2. (Probably the only time in my life I'd ever recommend papyrus, don't tell my BYU students.)
Good job.

Incorrect field of study...
Pav RS Islam doesn’t claim restoration of lost truth. Many things in the Bible can not be verified through archeological evidence.
Incorrect religion and history.
