Kai, recently had a tailbone injury (as in less than a week before their comeback) he said he is feeling better now but I’m sure with this type of choreography some things he has/had to modify. I’m still so extremely impressed with Kai, he has been killing this comeback especially with his “Devil By The Window” performance.
I really like how you appreciate TXT's performance! I know Kai really worked out for this CB. Love how you noticed Kai is everywhere in this choreo. Yeonjun lying down was crazy I agree it took a lot of teamwork and trust to pull it off. Your term "organized spasm" yep... that's exactly what they were doing. Love ur react's Jeff. Keep safe!

19:38 yass dancer Soobin appreciation! I’ve seen tall people’s moves looking lackluster because of their height. But that isn’t the case with him. Despite being freakishly tall, his moves are so sharp and fluid❤

soobin really caught my eye dance wise this comeback. like he's my bias so i'm always looking at him (lol) but usually during dance practices i watch everyone but this time soobin's energy just surprised me like DAMN. TXT are no joke when it comes to dancing literally everyone is amazing
I'm ot5 but whenever they are performing I always end up looking at soobin..there is just sumtin in him that draws my attention..he is the human magnet
3:27 I absolutely love the final chorus where the instrumentals are more fast paced and their choreo is also more intense.their footsteps are so satisfying to hear!❤

One thing to add about the first chorus and Kai: It was (hopefully) just that one dance practice where Kai didn't have quite enough room to slip through the members; I watched some stage performances and his fancams, and he was a little more in sync with the others, detail wise. Not a bad thing, just figured I'd mention it since I'm sure they do multiple takes of the dance practice and decide which one to upload
Seeing someone appreciate how hard Kai's part in this so much makes me so happy he's so underrated it's wild

When I watched this dance practice, I noticed their foot preparation, turns and knee bends. Their previous choreos were synchronized movements with squeaky sneakers and jumps that landed with only one sound. This one, as you noted, depended on teamwork and imagery which is central to this concept. Of course, Beomgyu's visuals/acting are just next level, he does a masterclass even in the dance practice and I also noticed their handwork throughout [the handshaking, the two-fingers with the "sugar"]. I pity the artists that do the TikTok challenge, as Jessi said for GBGB, their necks may not survive. As for Soobin's tallness and his dancing, ever since Rollercoaster, I've noticed a fluidity of his movements and he only gets better.

They said that's because their choreo is focused on lower body.. poor for him 🥺
I love how Kai interacts with Yeonjun during the choreography for the comeback stages this era. Not only during the move where Yeonjun is draped across their knees here, but also in Devil By the Window choreography where Kai lifts Yeonjun from the back so it looks like he's levitating above the other members who are lined up. It kinda makes me wonder why they often give Kai those supportive moves...if he's one of the strongest members or maybe has more stamina along with his height. It's interesting.

I'm fascinated by TXT choreography - they have some things that characterize it that just really go with their whole vibe so well. It's still got the Hybe jump, low wide stances, level changes, synchronized hops - it's Hybe choreo. But it's so intricate and incredibly high-trust. In keeping with their magical theme, they do a lot of pictures and illusion and it relies on all of them being spot on. If you go through and just watch for interactions there are absolutely tons. They activate each other a lot as well as creating pictures. It's just really cool, and since they change their look and musical style a lot I love that there's this signature choreo.
About Kai’s ankle cause I immediately noticed it too. I’m a dancer who’s hyper mobile (with eds) I obviously can’t diagnose but he definitely seems hyper mobile to me. That movement is what I one ai can do and have to train to safeguard against it so I don’t do long term damage.
I'm hypermobile too (but in theory without EDS), and yeah that's what it looks like. It made me think of J-Hope - he does the same foot position in the Butter 3J dance. Looks weird but it must not feel terrible because they don't have to do it for the choreo, it's clearly a choice.
I think if you strengthen the muscles enough it can be safe, or at least reasonably safe - that's been my experience. I used to injure myself in yoga class sitting still 😂 muscle support has been very helpful.
@@evantesseract737 Jhope does that move much more controlled plus he has the advantage of not bearing as much weight or pressure as Kai is here. Oh no it doesn't hurt doing the position for a lot of hypermobile people but that doesn't mean it can't do long term damage especially here that's going to pull on the knee. Mucsle strengthening does wonders I was dislocating too many joints before I started my pt program 😅 I'm glad it's helped you too!

This is so fun seeing the technicalities and the difficulties in the dance, especially Kai. And honestly, I'm not angry on those "mistakes" coz it is a dance PRACTICE which means they'll be discussing what looked great and what needs improvement and then you'll see just how important they are to each other🥹

I'm not saying this bcs soobin is my bias, but i'm so thankfull there is someone who's appreciate soobin's dance. Personally i really like soobin's dance, his dance move is sharp and he have fluidity dance move. Sometimes his move elegant but detailed. soobin is underrated dancer in txt🥺

Yeah, Kai actually injured his tailbone at some point this comeback and I think that might factor into his positioning being different for the chorus as well as the spacing issues

What i love about TXT's choreos and their dancing skills is that their levels and angles are always so precise!! It makes it look so much cleaner and very in sync! oh wait i just remembered, kai is a little less flexible than the others so, though i forgot to what extent. but yeah the width or space between their feet in the chorus makes sense somehow that kai’s a little more closer. but still kai is doing so much in choreo and he’s killing it i love it
not sure about kai's ankle, but it looks like he's using it in the same way on the live stages as well

The only part that is slightly similar is like ONE second of the song and even that isn’t that similar as the BMP is different. Idk why y’all are making it out like everything about the songs reminds y’all of enhypen. When the entire song is different, so is the choreo it’s different and only ONE second sounds slightly similar and they are under the same company so. This is how music works
