I actually have quite a few error coins now, but not sure if any of them are from the Denver minted 1968 penny... I’ll be double checking my ‘68’s again soon to make sure I didn’t miss something. Thanks J & B!

I believe I do have this 1968 DDO penny (the D is doubly-thick and 9 appears slightly doubled or repunched too) among the 1000 coins I recently purchased from the estate of a 95-year old avid coin collector of 70 years who never had his collection evaluated. I will include it soon when I make my 2nd submission of coins to PCGS for grading. Still waiting to hear back about my first submission of 6 coins which they acknowledged receiving just today (1/18/21).

I believe I have one. I have the D over D you mentioned. Mine also seems to have an error with the rim and the letters and L in liberty. I swear I see something in the background on the obverse but, Im sure its just my imagination.
I have a 1968 D mint penny and it's very well kept I don't know how if it has any value but for that it was it looks like brand new!

I just found a 68 D penny. It has a slight erroroffset on the obverse where “TRUST” touches the rim. I also have a 59 D penny with space there for comparison.

I'm new to all this coin collecting stuff. After watching many many videos I decided to take a few into a coin shop in des Moines. I was told they we not worth anything but face value. Maybe they wanted them at a cheap price idk. But if that's not the case why Is everyone so far from each other on the values of these coins. Not that I believe Google 100 but in search the value was so much more higher than a coin dealer. At any rate thanks for the videos on your channel I'm fascinated by all the different coins.

I have noticed that the 68 pennies metal composition appears to have a warmer softer color and luster to them. Possibly the planchett metal mix was a tad different.. Have y'all noticed that? Great show 😃😎
I have some very nice looking 68D’s unfortunately none have the errors. I didn’t know they struck the head of Lincoln and to be honest never even noticed. Thanks for the video
Happy to learn about the coins and the findings that I have come across and I will like to know more about them I have a good looking 1968D penny for the most part but anyway I wish I know how to tell if it has any kind of sign or something that I should be aware of. But it's a beautiful coin .

Thank you JB Coins I have one of those errors!!! I have the double die obverse but it’s brown and it is in decent shape. I just don’t know what to do with it. Like before, I will put it away. Until now Someone will come along and steal it before I can get the money to get it graded. I moved, so I hope things will be different.

I found 2 of the rpms crh as well as 3 of the doubled die reverse varieties. It's easy to get hooked crh it's like a treasure hunt everytime.
I have a few 1968 D penny i found them in a antique gum ball machine, and some 1950's 1960's and 1970's

Found a 1968 s Penny that has dubling similar to the 1969's penny can't find any information on it lots of separation on the word liberty good separation on date and in God we trust

I had never heard of the head size change that was made on poor Lincolns head. Very interesting, The Doubled Die obverses still eludes me tho and I do buy '68 rolls when I can find them,, I will find one some day.
I do have for 1968 red Penny's I thought they might have been breast I weighed them they're beautifully struck just didn't know that they would have such a value
I don't have, but might cuz I didn't know about the error or about the shrinking of Lincoln's head. Its just fun coin hunting with my chicklins...Thx for the additional list hunts.

I have a new looking one 68D… it definitely has errors on the back. The D, T and 2 S’s are flattened. There are some marks on it like the one you are airing. This Penny is in good condition, looks brand new. This one is doubly punched… it’s super thick.

If you have an actual 69s with doubling than it’s four figures in almost any condition. Get multiple opinions regarding the doubling u believe u have bc it is big money 💰

Hey huts I have the 68D/D. With the 8 double struck..looks like the letter B. And also the 68 no mint mark.. Both beautiful pieces.

I found an interesting error dime. Not sure what kind error to call it. It is definitely a stamp error because of the circular bulge around Roosevelt's face, which coincides with circular bulge on the converse side of the coin. It's a 1995P, and I have been sitting on it for about 20 years knowing it is definitely a one of a kind coin. It looks as if the planchet had something in in interior when it was stamped. Any ideas?
