Additional Info: This was the first year since 1955 that the cent or penny was minted at all 3 mint main current mints...the p..d..s... I've got a 1997 D penny with zinc showing around the entire outer edge, on Lincoln and also on the back side.
The rest is copper coated like it should be, but has some of the zinc that has bled in from the edges onto the face of the coin.
The edge is very raised up and is partially covering the word "Trust".
Is this penny worth anything? If so, how do I find out what it's value is?

I have a 1968 D penny that has doubling throughout the coin obverse and reverse it also has what appears to be a Z or 2 instead of a B on liberty and a 7 or part of a T instead of a Y as well how would one determine the value?

What is a BAG mark ? What does it look like on coin ?
To achieve MS-68 grade, a coin is not only free of wear, has original mint luster, and has only one or two scratches or marks that can be viewed only under 10X magnification, but is also very well-struck for that date.

I am so happy I found this channel. Having said that I was looking at a philly mint coin very oddly shaped and seemingly punched in . Now.. I could surmise that this could've been damaged throughout the years ,but I have been finding other people on different sites saying the same thing .

Depending on one's point-of-view, you may have omitted humankind's most significant event of the year. And one of the few uplifting (pun) events.
But you're not alone in relating our coins to their place in history. That's one of the fun aspects of coin collecting.
That 1968-D Cent on the right 1:42 appears to have a significant lamination error on the obverse. Unless my old eyes deceive me. I thought it was odd that you didn't mention it. Also, proof coins aren't circulating coins. Occasionally they do get into circulation. I've found a few over the years and always keep them. But, inevitably they have a few scratches and are called impaired proofs. It's pretty easy to tell a proof from a circulation strike unless the proof has some pretty severe wear, which is unlikely. In any case, you'll likely look through thousands of coins before you run into a proof in circulation.

what about a 1968 D with the scribe "IN GOD WE TRUST" so close to the outer ring that the "W" has no internal lines and some of the letters are in the same height with the circle?Even the date is really close to the outer circle,the 8 almost touches it..it looks like a misprint cause the coin is in decent shape..could it worth looking in to it?
That could totally be the case, there are a lot of lettering errors out there.

Found bunch 1969 but D but don't so know and just stuck aside. Been putting several other 60's aside. Found 1959D non wheat looks like proof not so circulated. 1990D but dings and not greatest but two D's nice distance apart and with word liberty. Feel bad towards someone multiple thousands plan to observe all.
