I don't have a dedicated trimmer, but use the 535LK pro combi. It's not the lightest machine, but is well balanced and has the power to do almost everything!
I like the Husqvarna's lightness, but the prices for Husqvarna replacement parts are much higher than those for the Echo. Echo wins when it comes time to do repairs.
The original 525lst is the lightest powerhouse ive ever ran. As far as hp per lb......it would be hard to beat imo. Very stout weekeater!! You wont be disappointed
Parachute cord! PARACHUTE CORD!! It beats the shit out of any pull string on the market. They make super strong stuff that's small diameter I use on all pull ropes. Dont remember lb, very strong/thin though? Learned that after rope broke on my Gen. Cheap to buy too.
I just got one. Mine clunk s in the clutch housing when you frist give it gas as everything starts spinning. Dose yours? I took it back to the dealer they gave me another unit it dose the same thing soo frustrating none of my echo s. Do this.
Hey, mine does this too! I think I hear the one in this video doing it as well. Maybe he comments about by saying it goes into high idle for a minute? Mine sounds like it has a knock? and the head spins upon startup until I hit the throttle…as he does in the video to lower the rpms. I wonder if the head was spinning in the video? I almost took mine back because I thought it was a lemon, but after coming here, it sounds like they all do this? Are they rich from the factory? That was my other assumption?
lol, I just commented this before I saw your post. I find it really strange the head if my trimmer spins upon startup. Def seems like a safety issue. Glad to know it’s not because the trimmer is having an issue.
@heavyduty6314 yeah, I was surprised and worried at first! Like I said to OP, my echo 2620 and my stihl fs94 never did that. Cheers to new beginnings I guess lol.
It was 9lbs like a 223l, its up to 11 or 12lbs after 2021 "Improvements". Notibly heavier unit now if you compare the 1st version vs Mark II. Damn Vents are back on top "again", had none on 1st versions so like my older Husky this one makes your arm red/burn after long periods. Fix it, screw it up, wth Husqvarna fix it and make it law! Geez!
This is a great string trimmer
My only go to trimmer
I take it over stihl any day
Nice shop class and review, thank you for the video guys 👍😎🇺🇸
Glad you enjoyed it

Nice!!!
Been running the old 525 s for ever . Just bought 2 mark11 . Cant wait for the stinken snow to melt to try them out. Graet video
Well the mark 2 is KJ’s favorite trimmer. I have to grab and run to even get my hands on it. 😂😂😂
That’s how I feel about the shindaiwa. In the book it’s a tad heavier but feels lighter than echo in your hands. Great video Doug 👍🏼
I totally agree!
Good stuff
Glad you enjoyed Tony. We like to do review ls after having some time with it. So far, it’s a great unit!!!
Hell yeah they are awesome 👌

I love mine
That looks like a great trimmer! I would like to get one.
It is!
Are the 525lst and 525lst mark ii different products? There is only the 525lst model on the Husqvarna website or Amazon.

Read the sticker on bar, "Push primer 10x", then pull rope...It would of started easier.

Hey guys, when my 525lst is choked and in high idle, is the head supposed to spin?
My head spins when at high idle, once you hit throttle trigger and disengage high speed to normal idle, the head stops.
@@EdenLawnServices ahhhh ok, interesting. My echo and stihl never did that, so I assumed something was wrong. Thank you!
