I have a Husqvarna R25 made in 11986 still going strong it is a commercial weed trimmer. And i would not trade it for anything on the market right now it stats on the first pull and has never lost power.
Hey just want to say i love your videos. I bought a 525L and a 525LST because of your recommendations. Truth to power you were right! Best power to weight ratio out on the market. I do a lot of weed abatement in rural southern California. So i make a a lot of dust scalping acres and acres of dry country.
My filters get clogged on the daily. I blow the dust outta the filters with an air hose every morning. Just wanted to give you a heads up since i pop my filters in and out so often. You installed your filter backwards in the beginning of the video. The filter has a flush side, and a side with a lip that tapers for a snug fit into the intake housing. You installed it with the lip side out. Thats why your housing didn't set right when you were thumb screwing it on. Keep that puppy running another 10 years and flip it.
Anyways i love your style, and if i lived closer to you I'd come and trim hours a day with ya. Keep on whipper whipping!

Our 525 LST Mark 2 is a great trimmer. Great balance and power. Unfortunately we only got 6 months out of it and carburetor is bad, and on back order.
yes, for 5 years...5-8 residential accounts a day , throw in around 10 commercial accounts i mainly did on Saturdays..and this was my side business...that was in s.fla..and i still have that shindawa i use at home..
I'm in Australia i got a lawn care business, just watched your vid on echo,you mentioned the Huskies,so watch this vid I'm guna go buy one this week see how it goes,just after bit more power.curently using Echos older models,anyway cool vid its helped with my research cheers.
My full shed is husqvarna and this review made me buy a lst. Problem I have is husqvarna is behind on parts so I have 2 trimmers in the shop for past month waiting parts.
I have the same problem these days with stihl also , parts always on back order , hard to figure out which brand to go with now seems like all have there good and bad points now , i guess flip a coin !
I think my next trimmer is gonna be a shindaiwa t262. You should reach out to them and tell them you'll make videos about it.

I have a Shindawia T302X and it is a beast. I rubberband the throttle in and it can cut up a storm. Power power power is all I can say. Can run like that all day and starts right back up after refilling.
He already has cause he did a video on the echo 2620 , the only difference between them and the shindaiwa is the shin has a different throttle trigger than the echo and the color , echo/shindaiwa is my favorite 2 stroke equipment
If you want to dislocate your shoulder and get a one arm workout, go with Echo. After 2-5 uses they would either flood but just wouldn't start. I spent more time troubleshooting them than actually using them. Both went back to HD and I now have a Husky.
i have a shindaiwa commercial weed eater now for over 20 years never once had an issue. Trims like i bought it yesterday. Best weed eater ought there..

Yep love my Husqvarna,s my 322l finlay broke. 525lk strong. Im debating on the 525l. Or just get the lst. ..sucks about the plant closings... hope there going to be available from here on out...i got that dame sprayers got at Lowe's.
I bought a 525l from Lowe’s as my back up echo 2620 messed up my dealer went down hill I like the 525l but in thicker grass bogs down but just got the 525lst I haven’t got to use it yet excited if it will take spot of some echo because my dealer has put a bad taste here lately after using 10yrs plus

My first trimmer was a husqvarna back in the late 90's it was stolen out of my garage,
I just threw down for a 525lst mark ii and a 336fr
But one thing I look for when buying a husqvarna is the metal plate attached with two rivets that say "Husqvarna Sweden" because those as my first one have the best quality in my opinion
I use Stithl at work and I am not impressed
eXterminator I gracefully retract my previous statement saying the 430LS was better. It had been a few years since I ran a LST but running a Mark II now. All around it doesn't get any better than the LST's 😁
How does the 525lst handle a brush blade vs the 535 ?

I love my 525 but local shops can’t get parts for anything Husqvarna. So I’m stepping away from the brand unfortunately
I have a mark 1 525 LS but it sometimes gets bogged down in heavy grass and sputters a bit. Will the LST gear box help get a more consistent cut in heavy grass?

I lucked up and bought a riding husqvarna 54 inch cut with 16hrs on it for 600..the deal was 1000.00...hes my best friend saw i was catching it!!! So he said "we good" dudes in good shape actually bought a brand new zero turn cash! Im sorry i dont have it like that!! Anywho i need another bigger blower i cut five yards all elderly ppl...i dont charge nowhere near enough but it helps them. So to it...bt150 USED at the pawnshop..200.00 its tge older version. I saw that the older one has red tab near the carburetor thd newest ones are blue ?.the blower at the pawnshop looks new! Last two of the yards are i guess 1.5 acres ? Kinda big? Can the 150 handle it?? Will it give me three years if i got a new one??i used a stihl commercial blower that was power! And not the biggest blower they make its the smallest commercial grade..but its strong..i dunno ive dranked several..😂

I used to have a 94 and with out the guard it was heavier than my 525lst with out the guard. The 525lst has way more power than the 94.
Would the 525ls be good enough for about a acre worth of lawn care around the house? Or is that gear box upgrade really needed for a homeowner?

After already owning a Redmax BCZ260S, I bought this 525LST based off your advice and I cannot agree with you, the Redmax is a better trimmer on all fronts

I just bought a 525lst mark 2. It seems like it doesn’t have as much power as my 2620. Is there any tuning you have to do to it? I know it is a 25cc trimmer but seems like it’s weak compared to my 2620

My fs100 only weighs 10 lb the new one that replaced it is a 111 and I think it's heavier than the 100
Stihl FS100RX is the best trimmer they ever made.

@@easttnlawncare6740yep and I think the fuel tank is bigger on the 111. My work has 8 of the 100RX trimmers and most of them are still going to this day. They are about 15 or 17 years old.

@@exterminator1 o ok I just got my first echo speed feed the 500 how many feet of 105 line you can put on I saw you can only 40 feet of 95 line size just round line
Beware the speed feed 500 ! They overheat and melt the trimmer line and it will jam up , stick with the 400 or 450

I'm gonna keep saying it the Husqvarna 430LS is even better... around $50 more but worth it. So light for a 30cc. Main 3 I use is that, the 525LST and an Echo SRM-266, which I'd take any day over the 2620
430ls is a Redmax. I like redmax but like husky better. The trigger , dif carbs etc. Same engines. Husky bought redmax in 2004 for the engines.

I hate mark II as far the power. Don’t have low or mid end torque at all and it is deal breaker for me. The original/ mark I is the best husqvarna ever builds. Mark II is the newest unit yet going downhill bad on performance and don’t have patient for it on overgrown due lack of torque

It's about the same weight tbh. I need to bring my stihls out on the job.but I don't like them lol. I do use my echo at home. All good I just prefer. Husky. Now they have an 525ilst.im gonna invest in that

dude you're like me but you definitely have more shit than i do id have just as many as you do if i had your millions lol all jokes aside i now have a little bit of everything as far as weedeaters goes i still have mostly husqvarnas which 2 of those are broken down awhile back i trade my 522L for a shindaiwa c242 that was converted over to a loop handle setup i also picked up an older fs250 which im gonna have that restored then the other day i ended up gettin an echo srm225i with that i75 starter on it the old neighbor guy had it and i gotta trim his place to pay for it it was made back in april of 2011 but he hardly ever used it the plug and screen was clean which shows he hardly ever used it it runs good but does need a tuneup also bought a new 91R about a month ago

My man I have 2 of these LST 525 I can tell you are the worst trimmers I have ever owned nothing but problems now there just sitting in my garage I can’t even sell them I posted them in offer up Craigslist and the Market place for $180 each not one call in 3 weeks I couldn’t believe it I’ve posted a beat up Echo Srm225 for $140 bucks and I get a dozen calls and offers and I sell them in less then a week.
What do you think about stihl fs70R and 56RCE ?

Echo is good. But not that good. I use them all for decades. Husky wins. Echo 2nd. Redmax then stihl.
