I think a counter video for buying would be a great follow up to this, like 10 tips for making smart purchasing decisions. Don't need to declutter if you never clutter in the first place 🤔
The nostalgia factor is definitely one I struggled with. Thankfully I eventually got over it and now I have a recycled wardrobe (when something new comes in, something old must go). And it's the best way to maintain my wardrobe
Would love if you made a video on how to sell clothes, e.g., how to take pictures, how to determine how much shipping costs, how to prepare clothes for selling, how to package for shipping, things to watch out for, which platform to use, etc. I'm trying to thin out my wardrobe by selling pieces but I have no idea how to get started.
Great video! I agree with pretty much all of your points here. I've been going through this same process of thinning my wardrobe and I can say your other video about cataloging and categorizing your collection helped me a ton. I'm able to look at a bigger picture and realizing that maybe for example, I shouldn't have this many dress shirts or fleece jackets etc etc. Makes it easier for the future of my wardrobe too, where I know not to buy another dress shirt without considering getting rid of another to replace it.
I really appreciate it! I really noticed I had too much when I moved apartments. packing up a bunch i stuff that I didn't wear was a little wake up call. By no means would I call myself a "minimalist" but I think a lot of people don't even know what they really have stacked away at home. good to familiarize yourself and so you can make better purchases.
Great video! These days I'm trying to establish a limit number of pieces for each type of garment I wear. It may sound a bit excessive but this helps me to better choose what to buy and to have a more compact wardrobe.
Great video man, I currently going through my clothes so that I only need my closet and one dresser and it's been a slog to get it down to where I want it. P.s. I don't think Acronym Prestos come in half sizes
@@corbincore I didn't want you to consider purchasing more clothes after taking measures to reduce your closet load--i just fell into a new romance wit mock necks and want to boost the reception with different stylings//but with spring around the corner those may be out of season and you could probably bless us with something more appropriate for the warm weather headed our way. I am curious about your thoughts on about salehe B and how he sort of reimagines a lot of the retro looks we were rocking as children growing up and how he applied certain ideas to recent new balance branding and how spring ready his gear is. But update my designer/creator radar and let me know what/who you're excited for in 22' And you a GOAT, REALLY APPRECIATE YOU for educating us in our efforts to dress and feel better in our clothes as ourselves
Thank you man! I agree! I lot of UA-cam channels get views by just showing "oh I bought this and this" and I'm really trying to get away from only doing that type of content. even though this might not get many views, I wanted to share

amazing idea. I really need to think about good points for that video!

Can always wear a more padded sock or throw an insole in for a pair of shoes that are a lil too big

its a process! I didn't know how long or difficult it would be to thin out a closet. Sadly I think you're right:( I just posted mine for sale.
Was wondering if you have a link to the neon light you have behind you? Is it a neon rope? Thanks!
hello miss! yes. amzn.to/32qOJTL
Oddly enough I’ve been doing the same thing this year ! Trying to refund my style/closet a little more
once we spend $$$ on a good piece of clothing, we might as well wear the hell out of it. especially if its versatile.
@@corbincore amen brotha !
Could you gather 3-7 different mock necks and rate the crop/fit/comfort and how to find the best brand for your neck
I only have 2 turtlenecks (one mock, one normal), but i could hypothetically haha
