From an accountant, I salute you! I’ve been cataloguing my closet for a minute now. It’s good to see how other jawns enthusiast’s closets are distributed.
Hi Corbin, this was amazing thank you! I really appreciate your meticulousness on this venture, very satisfying. I've been trying to do this myself for months but I'm not very good at excel. Looking forward to more videos on fashion and finance.
This is brilliant. I've been using an app called Acloset to do the same thing. With the app it is easier to set up everything but seems like doing this manually in excel would offer deeper insights and stats about the wardrobe
Really different but really nice vid Corbin. So true, our closets are definitely filled up with clothes we don't use like we should. Including myself of course. So, a few months before I started to sell most of my streetwear stuff. Thought I might save up some money...haha...well, I transformed all the money into techwear stuff. Lol. Positive effect is, I reduced the mass of garments a bit. I will continue this and one fine day I‘m gonna sell an empty wardrobe. Ok, this goal is unrealistic. Lol. But seriously, I know we (including myself) have to change our consumer behavior. Consuption shouldn't be a hobby like sports, reading or painting. Whaaat,...you own only one tanktop? Respect, I should work on this goal urgently. Cheers, bluekros
I appreciate the support man! Personally I think the sheer number of clothes is a bigger issue than the total value (assuming the person is into fashion which we are). it can be so easy to get caught up confusing being into fashion with hyper consuming as a hobby. I'm tryin to find that sweet spot where I am not over-consuming but I can still be active in the fashion community.
dude, i think every modern contemporary guy these days should watch your YT channel...in terms of fashion you covered what most guy needed, it save to say that if non fashion guy follow your fashion tips they're all set for almost anything...and not to mention your cost effectiveness to most items...amazing channel! the only critics i can say is probably you need to cover more colorful neon techy wear...since you love OG neon cyberpunk too. i know people like me are probably your niche audience so...anyway, 👍 amazing channel one of the best if not the best male fashion channel! go corbin🤘
Dude that's weird... And I love it! 🤩 An easy way to keep track of the closet and not waste 💶 You gave me a good idea to spend time during the new quarantine
On month 8 of my shoe spreadsheet. Keeping track of how many wears for a year so I can see cost per wear and feel less bad about my financial decisions lol
This was actually so much fun to watch and lowkey wanna do this with my wardrobe too but I own way too much clothing and I'm lazy lmao. Taking written inventory of my closet is something I've been wanting to do for a few years now though, and I use a closet app where I've put in a good chunk of the clothes I wear out which I use to plan outfits and future clothing purchases. I don't remember the details like price or year for most of my clothing bc I've had it for so long but whatever I do remember would make for an interesting look. Thanks for sharing this with us, nerd.
i'm glad it was somewhat entertaining! it is actually a lot of work to go through a closet. I had to count them over a couple days since in total it took probably 4ish hours if i worked non stop and put everything back. I've never heard of the closet app but it sounds interesting!
The raw data gives a lot of insight. But what if you filter it with the context of price-per-wear? Obviously, you can only estimate the longevity of some things, or make an educated guess based on construction; but that's one of the common arguments for why techwear is so expensive. [EDIT I wrote this before the video ended]

I really loved this video! It inspired me to try this on my own (bloated) wardrobe. Please make a follow-up video!
will you sell this template?? this is such a mad idea it's good.
I can refine it for sure then I might just upload it for free. I would only charge unless its very good!
@@corbin7020 Would love to have it too!
@@corbin7020 me too please that would be so useful :D
@@corbin7020 I’d like it too! Great idea to see how everyone does theirs differently 😂
Great video and idea!
I probably wear less than 10% of the clothes that I own and this is a great reminder that I should find a way to get rid of it.

Corbin, great video! Are you able to kindly share the Excel sheet? I wanted to do something similar!
I should do this too! This is a really cool idea :)
its eye-opening for real!
Great video Corbin!
Great idea! I’m a little scared to do my own chart for my closet, but definitely interesting. 😅
I appreciate it! honestly you could just tally up everything on a piece of paper and see where you have too much stuff

Since you graduated in the finance field, are you going to start expanding your wardrobe into more business-casual techwear?
