same here, it's really iconic. Other thing i love about it is the deep meaning behind it, it describes Bane's character. His upbringing was terrible, he grew up in a very hostile place that didnt care about morals, everyone is just there for themselves. Trapped down in a hole with limited supplies, hungry, thirsty, bored. Its a dark place. "I didnt see the light until I was already a man". The darkness has already become a part of him, he has already set beliefs and self institutions to survive in such conditions. Before that, he constantly hoped to be 'saved', to be free, but that hope did nothing for him. So, he became the darkness in order to survive it. When he has came outside, when all these "positive" things arrive, its already too late, he has become the final product, the sculpture is finished. "By then it was nothing but BLINDING". It describes his contempt for the light, it did nothing when he was in such awful conditions, only the darkness saved him and built him to be this strong and powerful.

Tom Hardy played the part of Bane perfectly. His voice correctly portrayed the stature and the malice of the character. We might never know, but I don't think any other actor can play Bane as flawlessly as Hardy did in DKR.

I like how Nolan reimagined a few of Batman’s Villians. Bane and Joker in the Trilogy are two of the best. Every line written for them is like gold. Plus both Ledger and Hardy give it their all.

same here, it's really iconic. Other thing i love about it is the deep meaning behind it, it describes Bane's character. His upbringing was terrible, he grew up in a very hostile place that didnt care about morals, everyone is just there for themselves. Trapped down in a hole with limited supplies, hungry, thirsty, bored. Its a dark place. "I didnt see the light until I was already a man". The darkness has already become a part of him, he has already set beliefs and self institutions to survive in such conditions. Before that, he constantly hoped to be 'saved', to be free, but that hope did nothing for him. So, he became the darkness in order to survive it. When he has came outside, when all these "positive" things arrive, its already too late, he has become the final product, the sculpture is finished.
"By then it was nothing but BLINDING". It describes his contempt for the light, it did nothing when he was in such awful conditions, only the darkness saved him and built him to be this strong and powerful.

Tom Hardy played the part of Bane perfectly. His voice correctly portrayed the stature and the malice of the character. We might never know, but I don't think any other actor can play Bane as flawlessly as Hardy did in DKR.

this Batman movie is the best ever. the dialogues make the movie. masterpiece. I went to the cinema in The Netherlands. all 11 cinema rooms were playing this movie, the whole weekend. All cinema rooms fully booked.

i love the "you merely adopted the dark" line, it's really iconic. Love the meaning behind it, it describes Bane's character. His upbringing was terrible, he grew up in a very hostile place that didnt care about morals, everyone is just there for themselves. Trapped down in a hole with limited supplies, hungry, thirsty, bored. Its a dark place. "I didnt see the light until I was already a man". The darkness has already become a part of him, he has already set beliefs and self institutions to survive in such conditions. Before that, he constantly hoped to be 'saved', to be free, but that hope did nothing for him. So, he became the darkness in order to survive it. When he has came outside, when all these "positive" things arrive, its already too late, he has become the final product, the sculpture is finished.
"By then it was nothing but BLINDING". It describes his contempt for the light, it did nothing when he was in such awful conditions, only the darkness saved him and built him to be this strong and powerful.
My favorite part is when him and Bruce are in the prison. Those lines: “your punishment must be more severe.” “to torture me?” “Yes, but not of your body…………of your soul”
