We are still doing van life in the Lake District, UK! And this week we are still in Keswick, moving onto Ullswater and Pooley Bridge.
Then we move onto some more Robin Hood Prince of Thieves locations in our campervan haha, we love them! #lakedistrict #vanlife #vanlifeuk

The new hatch on the roof of the campervan is a SkyMaxx, bit of a game changer for us, and comes in two sizes, compatible with roof thicknesses 23-60mm. Here is a link with locations to find one yourself leisurevehicle... We got this as a PR sample, and are really impressed so far
The lighting on top of the van is supplied by AuxBeam and we love them, including that light-bar that is all operated by a switch panel and bluetooth. Here is a link auxbeam.com/
Our extremely comfortable duvet & pillows came from our friends at Duvet Hog, which are vegan and made of recycled materials. We have used them in our previous van and honestly is the comfirst bedding we hage ever bought. PR Sample duvethog.co.uk...
Our mattress came from a company that do awesome made-to-fit mattresses for campervans (and houses). The company is called Custom Size Beds customsizebeds...
The Woodburner is from Outbacker Stoves
The Fridge is a 130l Webasto, and is really good so far, once again will let you know more in coming weeks
Both the cooker and the oven are from Jackson Leisure, and are Thetford branded

Love Keswick, have been visiting the place for years!! Unfortunately mostly in December these days. But that’s how nice it is.. cold, rainy, but still love it. 😂
Living and working in the lakes I take a lot of these things for granted,occasionally a moment catches you and you can regain a childlike wonder....

when i lived in the US i went to Alaska 3 times and it reminded me of this place , so when i returned to the UK i moved here
We love Lake District and always camp up at Castle rig , something so special about that place, never found anywhere like it…the Lake District is quite frankly unique

There's a nice hotel there that became me and my wife's special place. She's dead now because of her illness, but I'll visit the place again someday for the good memories.

Nothing can prepare you for the first look at Derwentwater on a clear day . Its mind blowing and you will never forget it. Just go there, pics do not do the scale of the beauty in front justice you have to experience it first hand. Just go
It's ok but it's not as good as the Duddon estuary from the top of Millom slagbank, what a panoramic view, Black Combe and the Outlying Fells, the Coniston range and and the Furness Fells, all surrounding the beautiful golden Duddon sands

Been here about 50 times. Loved it every single time. So much so that my new wife and I have just had our honeymoon here. And we had amazing weather! It really is England's playground.

I absolutely love the Lake District. I made a video there some months ago but unfortunately family life meant I didn't get as much video as I would have liked. I will be back, that is for sure
I live in the Caribbean which is spectacular too. But I remember the first time I went to the Lake District. It was a mystical moody morning and the water at Windermere was like glass. The reflection of the surrounding area was a mirror image in the water. We weren’t staying. But I made up my mind right hen that I would definitely visit another year. Just from that reflective view. Since then I have been back and stayed in a quaint cottage about a half dozen times at Coniston. Enjoy!

Brilliant show and reveal of the Lake District and etc. Remember Liam the Terrible's reveal of Cornwall ...he really went ballistic on the LACK of Camper Van welcoming in Cornwall. Hi guys, loved the drone footage. For a few seconds, I did think that was Liam in the waterfall! Well, it is only a few videos since you were on a nudist beach! Anyway, here’s a tip: on my calendar I have the dates of the school hol’s for England and Wales - we’re on the border do it’s handy planning days out.

I’m Cornish born and bred and still live here. I’d recommend avoiding the county in the school holidays as the small lanes are a nightmare with so much traffic and beaches and parkups chocca. That said, you can still find some quiet beaches and stuff away from the tourist hotspots but Cornwall isn’t that big and when there is 3 times the population here you can imagine what it’s like!

keswick is a jewel of a town and the lake -and walk around it- is fab! ❤
When you get down to the Sussex coast, be sure to visit Cuckmere Valley. It's where Robin Hood first touches English soil. Then he walks to Nottingham the same day, via Hadrians Wall. What a guy! Pete

I know it is a lot of back and forth, but i would head for South Devon, going towards Cornwall,, back up to North Devon, through North Somerset, towards Bristol and then do Wales. Hopefully missing all the traffic through the Windy roads before the kids break up.

I would love to visit the Yorkshire dales so you have given me lots of ideas for places to visit. I love the Lake District and we live fairly local to it, so we are extremely lucky. The beauty of the lakes never gets old. It’s my happy place 😁
Yes for sure Cornwall is bleddy manic in the summer, with all the roadworks around my area which is further west, best visit later. Ill look out for you , great channel

Try window fly trap sunflowers from Amazon to control flies in the van. - just stick a couple on your windows - They work don;t keep the flies out but they do get rid of them. Or get a mosquito lamp. Great video. Thanks. Loving seeing your food stops as well as the beautiful scenery.

I remember keswick very nice town people werw helpful and friendly. I did a photographic course here many years ago at ferne howe just up the road from the town car park and sub postoffice and pub.
Buttermere pines were a good spot but did attract tourists.

I really enjoyed this vid. I was born in Ulverston (live in New Zealand now) and have many relatives scattered around the lake district, mainly Windermere & Kendal. It took me back to another place & time.

How you feel about The Lake District (on a sunny day) is exactly how I feel about the Northumberland Coast (on a sunny day).
I'm sorta glad we (I'm a Geordie) don't get summers as hot as the south, otherwise Northumberland and Cumbria would be as ruined by tourism as Cornwall and the Cotswolds are. 😉

Trying again!! If. you Google Term Dates for the locality you’re heading for then you can see whether that particular area is going to be overrun with kids! We’re on the border and most Welsh schools seemed to close last week, whereas the English schools finished this week. What out for individual school P.D. Days, because that means the children from that area will still be be around! They tend to be tagged on to the main holidays. All the best to you for your Grandad’s funeral. My Dad sadly died last year. He was born in the same year as your Grandad and I remember messaging you when I found out saying that year produced a very good vintage! Two lovely men. Take care.

Great video. Love the Lakes, spent many a happy holiday there. Summer time will be a problem anywhere, school hols, staycations, strikes etc but if you can do Devon/Cornwall before last week of July cos will get rammed and be difficult to get in and out. Love your vlogs so realistic and down to earth

Great video, we stop at Waterside on the way to Scotland and back, great site. First time we went we went to Ayesgarth Falls first by coincidence. I would definitely do Devon before Wales. We live in the Brecon Beacons which gets busy in school holidays, but no where near as busy as Devon & Cornwall. Happy travels 👍😁
