When Barbara sings with other performers and I always feel her voice is that warm and smooth it just wraps around the other singers. I love Barbara. Bryan Adams also has a rich calming voice.

Of all of Streisand's magnificent repertoire, "I Finally Found Someone" is my favorite. Thanks to the beautiful melody, their soaring vocals, and those gorgeous strings, THIS is the one that has the power to make me cry!
As always Patrick you are a class act. A great reaction! The best I can count, Streisand has recorded 43 duets in her career. This was the theme song to her 1996 movie, "The Mirror Has Two Faces".

This song was nominated for an Academy Award in 1997 and written by Marvin Hamlisch, Bryan Adams and Barbra. It was performed on stage at the Academy Award show in 1997 by Celine Dion even though Barbra was in attendance

Absolutely one of my FAVORITE duets of all time!! I love how this song was written like a scripted dialogue. The story of this song is of a love every girl starts out wishing they will eventually find.

Try an Aussie legend, John Farnham Live with Melbourne Sympthony Orchestra. Any song from this show is fantastic but people tend to love HELP and Your the Voice the best. He is always best Live so you can see and feel the full impact of one of Aussie's most beloved Legends.
You should check out Celine's rendition of this song! Barbra was supposed to sing it at the Oscar's but was sick I believe & the night before they asked Celine to sing it. Needless to say it was an amazing performance, even with Celine reading the sheet music on stage!!!😉

Have you ever seen her first two television specials-My Name is Barbra and Color me Barbra? I would definitely have tons of suggestions from those if they would be new to you?

Hi Patrick. One genre Barbra has done on a number of occasions is gospel. Two that I think are standouts from the 70s are "Jubilation" from her 1974 album "ButterFly" and "Free the People" from her 1971 "crossover" album "Stoney End". (I think "Jubilation" in particular is a real standout.) She also did "On Holy Ground" on her "Higher Ground" album in 1997.

with the singing you would never know. All of her other duets she sung with have nothing but praise.

On Holy Ground, Imagine, As if we never said Goodbye, On a Clear Day, I think it's going to rain today, NY State of mind (version - solo), Never Been a Woman Before, Glocca Morra, Be Aware....there are hundreds upon hundreds of recordings but these are just a few of my favorites.
Hold on again. Never hear Stoney End? From early 70s. A rock song. Big hit for her.
