    Inside the NOCO Genius G7200 box you will find:
    Battery charger
    Mounting screws
    Manuals
    Rugged, heavy duty battery clamps
    Eyelet terminals (good for hard to reach applications: motorcycles, vehicles where the battery is under the seat or in the trunk)
    Version 2 of this NOCO battery charger is better than ever before. Battery clamps are higher quality and quick to disconnect, the charger itself is slimmer, it features a dedicated repair mode as well as provides a lithium charging option and 13.6 v supply mode. This supply mode maintains a constant power source to computer operated cars, ensuring the power supply is never disrupted.
    Capabilities:
    12v and 24v modes
    12v: 7.2 amp/hr charge
    24v: 3.6 amp/hr charge
    Normal AGM: For flooded battery, car battery (anything you can add acid to)
    Cold AGM: For sealed, maintenance free battery (can’t remove caps, spill proof)
    Off season maintenance: Ideal for winter/cold storage. Set the charger to the Cold AGM setting to compensate for the cold weather.

    I gave up on my two year old Noco G7200 when the power cable's strain relief cracked and opened up to expose a few millimeters of both bare 120 V conductors. Good thing I noticed before sitting it in the engine bay next to the battery. The G7200 was stored in my garage, in its original box, never abused, lightly used. I suspect that it cracked, while stored, due to cold weather (it's an unheated garage). The cord is single insulated and not robust at all. It's a cost saving measure - Noco went cheap on the power cable. I have yet to see a reviewer that notices that. I have a 20 year old manual charger with a power cord that is in perfect, and safe condition. In fact - that's the one I pulled of the shelf when I noticed my Noco was unsafe to use. I replaced my Noco with a CTEK and it has a thick double insulated power cord and yet another layer of strain relief around that at the case (so triple insulation at the strain relief). Compare that to el-cheapo Noco that with a single insulated cord and weak strain relief that apparently is molded over bare conductors. I'm waiting to hear the story where someone gets electrocuted, or a fire starts, or an car's electrical system is fried, because they placed their Noco charger in the engine bay next to the battery and an exposed 120v power conductor energized their car. Note that Noco likes to show marketing pictures of their chargers sitting in the engine bay next to the battery. So anybody who experiences this fate will be simply have been following Noco's example.

    Can you tell me what types of batteries the repair mode can be used on.

    Hello, I just got 12 V Lithium Batteries and would like to charge them from 60% to 100%. I put the clamps on and it is not offering me to choose lithium. if I maintain the power button for 3 sec, it jumps to 13.6. all other lights remain off and I cant scroll through the different settings. Can you help me with this?

    How would this work with Shore Power? Connect a cable to my van inlet, then a wire from that to this? Thanks

    • @HighTechBatterySolutionsInc
      @HighTechBatterySolutionsInc  5 років тому +1

      This charger has a standard 110 - 120 AC cord, if you run power from an outlet to your van you can either use something like a power strip or a custom build on an outlet that you hardwire yourself.

    Yes it's a yeti 400. So how long does this smart battery take to charge from anac wall and how long will it take to charge my 33ah goal zero yeti 400? I'm basically thinking of using this smart battery to keep my goal zero charged instead of havin to carry around extra batteries

    • @HighTechBatterySolutionsInc
      @HighTechBatterySolutionsInc  7 років тому +1

      It would take between 3 to 5 hours depending on how far down you drain the battery. Just to be clear this is a battery charger that can only operate when plugged into an AC outlet. So yes it would be able to charge up the battery in your yeti 400 but it would have to plugged into a AC outlet to do so.

    Would this charger work for xs power 12 volt batteries? It says it needs a charger with a maximum output voltage of 2.4 volts per cell.

    • @HighTechBatterySolutionsInc
      @HighTechBatterySolutionsInc  6 років тому

      Yes, this can be used with the AGM XS-Power series batteries - just keep in mind that you will have to select the AGM mode on the charger!

      That is a pretty long time on a power sports battery, when you say the first red LED is that the 25% mark?

    • @HighTechBatterySolutionsInc
      @HighTechBatterySolutionsInc  3 роки тому

      Thats pretty strange, normally if there was an issue with the charger then you would not get any LED lights on the panel or you would not be able to change modes. Any chance you could try the charger on a battery you know is good like an every day driver? This can help to eliminate the charger as an issue.

      @@HighTechBatterySolutionsInc I know the charger is good, I was asking why the charger won't charge my battery? Also why it only stays at the 25% mark

    • @HighTechBatterySolutionsInc
      @HighTechBatterySolutionsInc  3 роки тому

      @@five-eyes666 If you know the charger is good then your likely looking at an issue with the battery. If the battery is not accepting a charge then the charger will stay on the 25% mark and eventually error out.

    Can I use this to charge a goal zero battery?

    • @HighTechBatterySolutionsInc
      @HighTechBatterySolutionsInc  7 років тому

      Which goal zero unit are you looking to charge? The G7200 unit is able to charge the Goal Zero generators that have large internal batteries, however it will not be able to charge the small portable power packs they offer for mobile devices. You are limited to a micro usb style charger for those small units.

    can I hook up 2 6 volt batteries to make 12 volts and charge them like that?and also can I hook up 3 12 volt batteries in 12 volt series and charge them all together on this charger at the same time?

    • @HighTechBatterySolutionsInc
      @HighTechBatterySolutionsInc  8 років тому

      +meatdogg101 Yes, you can do both. If you are putting three 12 volt batteries in parallel to create one large 12 volt battery I it is a good idea to split the charge between all three batteries. To do this you would connect the NOCO G7200 unit up to the positive of your first battery in your string of three, and then connect the negative to your last battery in string.

    I would like to connect the charger to the battery and walk away for 8 months. So, which one is the "trickle" mode - ST-BY or Repair..? The manual says that there is no output at ST-BY mode. Or, if I use the Repair mode, with 1.5 Amp output, the charger will complete the "repair" cycle and turn OFF and then turn ON again when battery voltage drop..? Please advise. Thanks

    • @HighTechBatterySolutionsInc
      @HighTechBatterySolutionsInc  6 років тому +3

      There is no specific mode you would select for maintenance - this is built into the charging algorithm of the unit. By selecting either the NORM or COLD/AGM charge modes in the 12V or 24V block the charger will automatically go into a float mode as soon as the batteries are fully charged. You will be able to leave the charger on the batteries indefinitely. Do NOT use the repair or supply modes, these are separate operations of the charger that fall outside of its standard charging algorithm - stick to the NORM or COLD/AGM charge modes in the 12V or 24V section.

      This charger can be used on LifeLine batteries without an issue. You mentioned 6 volt batteries - this charger is a 12V/24V model - if you have them connected to create either a 12V or 24V setup then yes this charger will work for you.

My converter is fried and I live in the Unit, So I am trying to leave permanently a battery charger for the next 6 weeks so I can make it to my dealer instead of going to just anyone closer. So, I want to put something that will not damage the batteries. I have a solar system but not enough sun.

    Be aware! This G7200 Appliance of 110-120 V cannot be used in outside US! because the AC input on this one is 110-120 AC input voltage! EU/Africa and Asia AC outlet is 220-240 AC voltage!
