@fhuroutFly if you would like to link me to some better ones, please go ahead, but for explaining the basics to beginners i think this is really well done
I just wanted to mention that this is mainly for SWORD pvp if u couldn’t tell. There are many other game modes such as axe, uhc… I do think this is a good place to start as sword can be used in a lot of kits
AYE this might be a long shot, but im definitely gonna go ahead and say this is the best video I've seen on your channel. Not to mention, you definitely opened up a TON of eyes, considering most of your fanbase is likely 1.8 players. great video 🎉
Also: one technique that I found myself is when you get sprint hitted, jump as soon as you hit the ground. It stops you sliding back further, but in return you go up. You can utilise it in many ways like a crit after you do it. You might think this is jump resetting, but jump reset is when you jump as soon as you get hit, while my technique is when you touch the ground from a hit. This gives you a spacing advantage compared to a regular jump reset, and is much more unpredictable. Careful not to use it too much
i only watched half way since i had no time, but when my pvp match started, i was already doing 10x better! these tips are extremely helpful and you definitely deserve more recognition!
This is the best pvp tutorial I have seen I play 1.9 pvp a lot and am really bad and just 30 min after this I’m already getting better thank u so much Intel
As an experienced 1.9 player its nice to see you show 1.8 players how to adapt to the meta, really nice seeing you cover the crit techniques, one thing tho the move you showed in the vid is more commonly referred to as “no kb critting” and “double critting” is actually a counter to people critting you (especially with no kb crit) where u do a punish crit and then immediately jump for another crit
im not even 10 minutes into the tutorial and i already managed to get like a 5x combo (on a bot) where as before i couldnt even get a combo. all it took is like 10-20 minutes. Tysm for this amazing tutorial i really didnt think this would work! ❤
Thank you so much for making a proper 1.19 PvP Tutorial. I’ve been so used to 1.7/1.8 for years and I can finally get started on trying to get better at the new PvP version 🏆
Hey Intel! I'm oIgor, one of the people you fought as of recently. I'm really happy that you posted a video related to 1.9 and it's mechanics, and I'm really surprised and amused as to how it turned out, seriously. Thank you. I needed this so much! I will use this, i have a friend which will help me learn. With ur help and theirs i will learn it and be good at the upcoming war in our server.
A great tip for not getting sweep hits is to turn on subtitles [Options-->Music and Sounds-->Show Subtitles:-->On] , since it will show 'Sweep attack' (or something i forgot) when you make a sweep hit.
I don’t think people realize how much 1.19 can help with 1.8 principles. My w tapping and spacing improved by an immense amount when I became a 1.19 player because 1.19 is pretty precise
Hey Intel, I dunno if you'll see this but I wanna point out that hit selection actually works because of the mechanic that 1.8 players use by getting high cps, which slows down their movement and essentially makes them a brick wall, when you delay your hit you get the 60% momentum decrease for the kb that you take when your opponent does not, therefore making it so they take more kb and you take less, setting up for your combo
After you delay your hit, you get hit into the air before your opponent, meaning that they’re still by the time a hit can register again. This not only makes them take more kb, but also reduces the amount of reach that they have “high ground”.
@@cryobyteyt6198 yeah. but also, when you get hit while moving fast, you take less kb than if you were moving slower. so, you sprint into your opponent, let your opponent hit you, you take a bit of kb, and if they are half-decent at the game they would sprint reset. then you can hit them when they w tap. it makes them take even MORE kb because when they w tap they are literally standing still for a split second, and it works even better when they s tap. obviously that would be very hard to time but you can do that accidently while hit selecting so it makes it work even better
@Cheese ye but it can also backfire sometimes like if they dont take much kb then you both are just trading hits, then he will kill you first since he got the first hit or maybe if they are 1 ping they hit you first but because of the kb you cant hit them back and they combo you
