Great video. I don't want to pay the price at the parts store or dealership when I can get it for about 50 bucks cheaper online. But I can't get it till probably Friday so got to get through the week. I think I'm going to do this after I make sure it's the switch.
My 2000 Saturn now has wiper work intermittent even in off position. I have a very good mechanic who has never over charged me, but on this he says around 450 dollars to fix. The #25 fuse is in the fuse box under dash board to left, easy to pop open. Mechanic said if I let it stay running intermittent, it will burn out wiper motor. So I took out the fuse. I went to Auto Parts store for more #25 fuses and a fuse puller, all for about 20 dollars. On sunny days I will have fuse out, and rainy days fuse in, which is no more wear on wiper motor than regular rain use. It only takes a couple seconds to pop in fuse or pull it out, and I have back-ups in case I break one doing this.....Now if the wipers weren't working at all as in this video, but a more common problem is wipers still go intermittent when in off position on an older car. Now this does show the plug in wires under hood. It might be worth unplugging and plugging those back in to see if it reboots wipers as they should be, but I can live with taking out and putting in wiper fuse. I'm not spending close to 500 dollars on a 25 year old car, no matter how much mechanics think all your money should go into your car.
@@CB7Media yes... what wires did u connect to wiper motor or where? my motor wont stay plugged in and multifunction does not work. so cant drive in rain. have to hold connections in place to get to work, cant do that when driving and i just bought toggle switch two prong.. plz help me install. thank u
