I am so excited for your flat vs conical comparison. I have been waiting to upgrade from my sette 270 until I can fully understand the differences and commit to one.
@@BensCoffeeRants I think it's a fantastic combo! I've had the HG-1 for about a year and the P64 for a little over 2 months. @@KyleRowsell Nice! I guess, in this case, it takes one to know one. ;) Oh, and btw, my guess for the new espresso machine is the Decent, which should make for some interesting content. Glad to see the Lagom P64 on your bar! Probably one of the most elegant grinders along with the Key. Loving mine so far other than the chirping point constantly changing
Does it actually change or just seems like it after you go coarse for other brew methods and then and try to go back to espresso setting? Or is it after opening the grinder up and putting it back together?
I had a bianca, but changed it in fairly quickly for a pro 700. Bianca was a great machine but the build quality everyone talks about certainly wasn't up to expectations
Something new coming?!? And you put it RIGHT at the end of the vid. KILLING ME!!! Oh the suspense!! Lol can’t wait to see whatever it is. Plumbed in line isn’t pretentious. Living that tank life gets old real quick

Great video Kyle. I can't wait for that flat/conical grinder comparison. And looking forward to see your new espresso machine. I watched the video till the end and enjoyed every bit of it. Hope you have a great rest of the day
Love your setup man, super jealous. I'm hoping to get some upgrades soon too, but in Japan where I live putting up shelves would net me a HUGE fine when I leave the apartment, so that's something for the future.
I can't wait to see what you got to replace the Bianca; I got my Bianca after watching your video about it and I been super happy with it. I'm going to guess you got a La Marzocco; it's something I would consider for myself.

Majestic! Trying not to be too jealous over here but I do like seeing these kinds of videos and hearing the reasoning behind it... this didn't just seem like a show off video. So I'm wanting to upgrade my grinder situation. I'm leaning toward a flat burr grinder first but would really like to have a good conical along side of that as well. Right now, I'm not sure if it makes sense to go for a Ode/Lagom Mini combo for that or save for longer and go for a DF64/Niche combo (I'm assuming this combo would be the "next step" from an Ode/Lagom). The other thing is that I'm really a filter coffee guy only atm. Eventually want to have an espresso set up (but that's probably not coming for a while) still I'd like one or both of the grinders I'd get to have that capability. So.... any thoughts? Are those good combos for what I'm looking to do or are there others I should think about? Appreciate you!

Digging the setup! I started my coffee bar in December and have plans to add many more features to it! Also, I love the hat! Where did you get it from?
i was torn between the key and p64 last summer, I ended up getting a p64 a few months ago when prima finally started getting them. I'm so happy with it. I had a multi purpose SSP in my fellow ode and it just performs so much better in the p64 Ive never gotten better filter cups. I haven't even begun to explore the high uniformity burr option with espresso and there's a lab sweet clone coming. The fact that there is 4 64 mm burr options for the lagom p64 and maybe more coming gives it a huge edge for me. I am super excited for the key review though, so intrigued as there's just no solid reviews out there. Love your channel!
Exciting things to come, really enjoy your style. Also interested in comparison between Key and P64. While I understand taste is important, at this level of grinder, some of us are just as interested in ease of use and retention. If you had to pick one to live with daily for espresso only which one would you choose. Looking forward to the comparison.
Thanks so much Kyle for the peek into your coffee bar! Great stuff!! BUT I do wonder... why don't you experiment with roasting your own coffee? I've been roasting with a Fresh Roast air roaster for the past 2 years and it is a game changer! No more timing my coffee purchases so that I always have fresh beans which is so important for espresso. Shelf life of green beans is over a year, so if I run out, just roast a batch at less than half the cost, and it's fun! I know you are immersed in all other things coffee, so I get it. But what is your main reason for not dabbling in some roasting? Do you feel you won't get the same tasting notes the pros get? Or just too much of a hassle? Would love to know where you stand on this... Keep up with the great work on the channel! Love your content and you have a great personality for the teaching and sharing you do! Looking forward to your zero grinder showdown! All the best! ☕
