I have the same machine but it's been heavily modified. I use a drone battery. It lasts a very long time like a month I. Also modified the hoses with the one way valve and inline filter sanitary valveoff of Amazon. The inline filter is the disk filter for that. Really slow draining funnel. Use the silicone washers as a templatecut out. About 5 filter disk installed in my inline filter set up Barb fittings on ends. And a simple 304 stainless coupler I use the 1/2 inch style 304 stainless plumbing works. Great. I found a sanitary valve on Amazon from China fantastic.
We’ve used the simple pulse now for over a year and like it. Our milk parlor is fully solar, and it works great with our setup. If I could go back in time though, I would probably of gone with a mitty instead though, but it’s more personal preference for me.
Thanks for your review! I’m currently using my breast pump on my girl. I’m having a hard time justifying $200 for one goat. But, by spring when I milk 3 does, a proper machine would be well worth it!!!
We actually upgraded to a simple pulse so we could milk more than 1 goat at a time. If you are only milking 1 or 2 at a time it is fine, and I still use it to pull colostrum when needed.
I got the cow one, its a Hantop. Just used it for the first time and it worked a lot better than me trying to hand milk! I am happy with it at the moment but we will see how it stands up to 2 times a day use.
Pro tip fer sure, we figured it out camping 😂. Being stingy with water and using cold water to rinse dishes. " You guys think that bacon was spoiled....why are all of us heading into the woods so often"
I bought one by Vevor.... looks like yours.... got all the numbered tubes hooked up, but very LITTLE suction.... and no instructions came with it....I hope I'm missing something.. it took 15 days to get it here.
I LOVE milk and dairy, goat cow in don’t matter… i am getting goats this weekend for my new homestead, the way I drink milk this machine will pay for itself in no time.
I will be using this for my experiment from next week on dairy goats. Can I know how many minutes it take to milk one goat and are the goats you using are dairy breed? Thanks.
That plastic bottle is definitely some cheap Chinese not even food grade plastic I have attempted before I purchase the more professional stainless steel and the vacuum causes the plastic to collapse in on itself you have to use stainless steel bucket the vacuum is too strong for plastic to support but I have modified a mason jar half gallon and that seems to work very good too same pump and hoses just a half gallon mason jar with holes in the lid and some Hardware from Home Depot make sure you use food grade plastic
I bought one last year but the doe I was milking was too hard to handle. I milking my primo girl now by hand and wondering should I try out the machine with her.
Try to use some mineral oil to lubricate the gasket in area that the gasket is supposed to slip and squeeze into I was tempted to pull the gasket out myself but I notice it would be a challenge to press it back in
We have the same milker and are having a problem with it. It is not pulling out the milk. The trouble shooting guide says to connect the hoses directly to the pump and see if you have suction. If so, it should be working OK. We do have suction under those conditions but when attached to the bucket there is no suction. Can you offer any suggestions?
I have been looking at theses. Glad I came across your video! I’ve always had goats just got a Nubian doe to start milking is their any test I should have performed on her to make sure milk is safe? I’ve milked cows and that’s little different than goats lol but feel a lot is the same
Too much headache . Too hard to clean all these pipes . Better I use my hand for milking and same time it’s good exercise for me . Everyday cleaning is too much work …-and time .and cannot clean like we can clean with own hand . This system is good for business or her herds not for 1 or 2 goats
Yeah bull 💩 my broken old mitts think it's awesome. We have 1 milk goat but she consistently throws triplets and gives a gallon plus a day. I'll clean hoses and attachments everyday with a smile on my face.....to each is own I suppose
I have old army hands and nerve damage from a broken neck… it takes me on average less than 5 minutes to clean our milker, which is less time than it takes to milk a goat. I’d love to be able to hand milk, but it’s not always an option for everyone.
@@ThreeLittleGoats you are right about not for everyone . Actually I have problem about cleaning until I cannot use my hand to clean 🧽… I feel like it’s not proper cleaning …. Time by time things stick in layers … it looks clean but not really clean . May be we not notice for while but then … it start appearing… so I feel … I want something that I can clean easily …… it’s long topic … thanks God bless . I just wanted to experience …
Very useful start-to-finish video. Thanks.
Thank you for sharing your experiences.

Why would you go with the Mitty?

Thank you for this video!!!! So excited to try my new milker on my goats!
I know this video is 2 years old. I was wondering if you still use this milker, or jow long it lasted. And if you would still recomend it?

@@ThreeLittleGoats thank you!
@@ThreeLittleGoatsyour simple pulse is electric? How's it working?
Where did you get your blue bottle to attach the pump too?

Where did you get the clear jug for the milker?
the vacuum pump inside the 'box' doesn't draw that much power. I have one.
when using dawn detergent you want to rinse several times with HOT water to remove the dawn...... unless you want diarrhea

Where did you get the blue top plastic bottle?
Is this a milker you still use and would recommend?
Please be so kind, what kind of solutions did you put into the water for cleaning the tubes?
I use an acid wash for milk machines.

What wipes did you use to clean? 😊 Just got this milker and cannot wait to try it.
I was using teat wipes, but now I just use warm, soapy water. 🙂
