I love what you guys are doing! I am actually 14 and convinced my family to establish a mini farm, we actually live in Pennsylvania as well and my parents used to live in Connecticut just like you guys. Our goats just had their babies and your videos are getting me exited to milk!
Thats awesome that you want this life and are so young still. Tell your parents farm.life is the only life. We are buying a farm in greencastle Pa and my kids are excited to be on a farm
I do understand not giving her the feed at first so she doesn't blow through it, however, it may be good to let her have it right away so she enjoys the whole experience 😊 just until she gets used to things😉
Great video! Loved the close up of milk squirting out of the teat into the bucket. We're in PA too. If you guys do a farm show (Harrisburg), we would love to meet your family in person.
Looks like it's old hat now!😉 I'm traveling in my rv fulltime and am staying at an ag pick your own farm the next 2 days. I belong to a co- op called " Harvest Hosts" who let rv-ers park for the night at farms, wineries, museums, and golf courses. You guys have your hands full but would love it if someday you could be a host. Such a down to earth family! So enjoy your videos. Oh...and some of us like you to put us to work when we visit! I bring my own muck boots and gloves😁
Wow!!! What amazing kids! Y’all are doing something right❤️ it’s so nice to see how you are teaching your daughter “first things first”. I’m so glad that you mentioned milking styles!! I am new to goats and it’s hard for me to get anything from my nanny. I have a mini LaMancha who had 3 kids in May. Now it’s August-Could she be drying up?? I will have to google STRIP MILKING!! thanks for the info😁
Homesteady I got her one month after she kidded . The previous owner milked her every afternoon and I think she got a quart?? It took us a while to build a milk stand so there were 2 months of no attempts to milk. And it just seems tricky. She has smaller teats and I have larger hands so I get milk on my little finger a lot of times. I supposed I just need to keep practicing. Thanks for your help!
It’s nice that you’re organized, it can help avoid frustration with efficiency.👍🏽. Very, very odd however that you don’t use stocks for your goat’s rear hooves and instead fight and try to avoid contamination and spilling of your milk. There are very easy methods for this.
Are they first fresheners? They really didn't have that much milk. How much do they each have per day? what kind of feed is that? I don't recognize it.
Boy that final scene was effective !! The Goat milk streaming out to the eye of the camera. I'm so pleased you arent rough with the fussy girls. Fondly mrsjob

❓❓❓Has your young dog been sick? He looked rather empty?
You really are getting them trained...it’s so good to see how patience and care payoff.

Did you just get her? Or have you had her since she kidded? If you had her when she kidded did she give more?

Thanks maybe Play Some Jazz
music while milking xxxx💟😍
Pretty cool
Happy to see the sanitation. They do seem to be doing better.😀
How many times a day do you milk them
What mixture is in the dip cup?
So nice to be able to spray it all down!
how do you make your homemade salve?
Why don't you give her the food to distract her attention away from you . It could be much for you guys
❤❤❤
What do you do as parents to get your kids so involved in the animals? I have chickens and a pig, but my kids have no interest in helping me.
