Gateway at 1x and the banning of Isolde really hurt the deck.

I think there’s a case for Gateway to be put back to 2

It still confuses me how people think Grandmaster at 1 has a good reasoning... "You can only control 1" doesnt really matter cause you will always just link him off and then summon the second one from hand. He is literally just your 4th 5th and 6th copy of Kizan. If you have the space for him, you should play 3 grandmaster.
I have grown tired of running united cause it is too much high rolly. You want extenders in your deck and united is not guaranteed to be that. The cap at 2 makes it a bad counter holder. If you use its draw effect you are never guaranteed to draw into something. Drawing in six sam isnt too powerful because if you play your deck correctly, you will draw your deck anyways.
Now to the equip spells: Durendal is a decent searcher but nor good enough i think because your best target is fire flint, which isnt a six sam name. Yes you can add mizuho but you always never end up doing that. If you want more consistancy to see either of these, just play the monsters themselves more. Living fossil is a terrible reborn cause it banishes the target. Also it negates it. So why? Why not run a card that does not have the downsides? You dont need equips after isolde ban anyways.
Now to the more juicy stuff... after isolde ban, pure samurai got a lot worse because it was mainly relying on 3 card combos, which all turned into 4 card combos. That is just soo much card investment to loose to a single handtrap on battleshogun. On the other hand, there always was true king samurai, which btw was always the better version. It was more consistant, could make baronne mid combo and needed less cards for starters, making it so much better vs interrupts. Without isolde, this version is even better now, since you would go back to 40 card decks instead of 60 card pile samurais, which made it less likely to draw the equipspell bricks. Without those in deck you are back to 40 and able to see fuma a lot more meaning your strongest lines are now way more consistant. Fuma is a special summon from deck, being the perfect replacement for isolde in that sense.
And now to the MOST juicy stuff... If you get interrupted on battleshogun you can go spright sprind, send plague spreader. Summon him. Overlay into gigantic, gigantic summon gale dogra from deck, send apkallone. Search schism. Link into IP. Resummon plague. And there you go: winda+IP into SP after a handtrap.

Kiratwig2, I don't see why you made a six samurai deck with equip cards when isolde is banned. So it makes no sense to have them. Maybe replace them with search cards or something that will give the six samurai deck more synergy?
this guy is so dumb... I suggest replacing one Kizaru for a Heroic Challenger - Morning Star, and equip spells by Ready Fusion, Instant Contact and Heroic Call, also replacing Herald and Trishula with Dragoness and Neo-Spacian Marine Dolphin.
@ghbarbu this is a six samurai deck, not a heroic deck nor a hero deck.
@@fabianbeteta5795 morning star is just a tutor to get heroic call and you can still special summon it to get another level 4 warrior on the board, you can also discard it with one for one and you can call it with reinforcement of the army, also this deck has borreload, ash blossom, fire flint lady, Zeus, Baronne, little knight, and trishula that are not six samurai cards so what the hell is wrong with having one heroic challenger in the deck to get 2 free special summons...
@ghbarbu extra deck you can put any monster that is not six samurai, but the main deck is different because the bushido cards only work with six samurai, and the main deck focuses on when a six samurai is summoned to get the bushido counters for cards such as gateway of the six. Flint Fire Lady is fine because she is a warrior generic but not heroic Morningstar.

hey can you explain why living graveyard is better than cards like monster reborn? which can be used without taking a spell/trap spot

As a 2013-15 player of Six Samurai and no idea abt the modern yugi, can someone explain to me why Kagemusha is gone? He's my favorite partner for Kageki back in the day
Secret Six Samurai Fuma in combination with Kizan is way more versatile and safe
I personally use him since he can bring out Naturia beast

@@robinhood4304 but now we have Fuma and Kizan, it's even easier to bring out Shi en, since Kageki can't be countered by hand traps, and Kagemusha is kinda brick compared to Fuma since he can special summon someone else if he is detroyed.

Dumb question*: How are you supposed to get Zeus out when it takes 2 lvl 12 monsters? Has it to do with the other link monsters?
*My experience was from 2011 until last week.
When an xyz monster attacks, you can xyz summon by using an xyz monster and over lap it, becoming overlays units .
Why do the mizuho and shinai look like cut outs….?
With Baronne now banned what would you replace it with?
