I LOVE OJAMA DECKS!! I’m a Yugioh OG and they bring back such good memories - they’re just such a fun deck to play. Thank you for this - your deck build is really good!
Ojama needs a tuner and synchro monster to help them out. Maybe have them as fusion searchers/substitutes like muddy dragon. Would be able to finally turbo lockdown. I’m experimenting with different engines Melffy/Tri-Brigade/Branded, but I’m dead set on having Naturia Bambooshoot w/King & Knight for lockdown. So far I’m only having boards like Shuraig/knight/beast or Albion/lubellion/knight. Getting Bambooshoot is practically impossible and King has made 1 appearance in test plays. I just want to gut the whole thing and start again tbh
In my ojama deck I always run obedience schooled and a few extra level 2 beast monsters, currently using melffy which is a great combo of annoyance, it pretty much gets you 3 beasts out of your deck with your only restriction being able to run beast monsters for the rest of the turn but is good for some XYZ plays with the melffy beasts which lead on to some pretty good synchro disruptions or protections during your opponents turn.
I hate that they had to mix it with the light machines instead of going for a pure ojama deck with the support :U I dont want to play machines or dragons i just want to play ojamas :(
Pure means not combined with another entire engine that would be competing for the name of the entire Deck, like how "pure" Zoodiac ran a small, but powerful and important, Speedroid engine (it made an X-Saber Xyz, but that was part of the Speedroid engine, it didn't make Speedroid Zoodiac part X-Saber), it's not like you can only play Monster Reborn in The Winged Dragon of Ra or Harpie's Feather Duster in Harpies without having to list off every generic card in the Deck in its name as a "hybrid".

clearly you don't play, the extra deck has forever been a tool box to raise the level of your main deck.
