Pete Thorn, pure talent but even more, pure gentleman
Thanks Rory!
I can listen to Pete talk about gear (or really anything) for hours. Such a class act and genuinely loves his craft. He has renewed my love of guitar. Took years off and now back at it (albeit, in my home studio only these days). Great video all round. Really enjoyed hearing from everyone.
Thank you andrew! Glad you’re back playing again
Saw them last night at Birmingham town hall had a big grin on my face from start to finish incredible musicians and vocalists can’t wait for next years tour
Very informative guys thanks, keep them coming. Enjoying The Classic Rock Show you guys do the classics justice!! 🤘😎🎶
Pete the tone monster ! Totally geeking out on this one ! Cheers guys !
Hey Pete!!! Saw you guys in Basingstoke (Anvil) last Saturday - great show - I was 5 rows from the front - my ears are still ringing!!! At the end of the show you threw your pick into the crowd - guess what? - it hit me on the head (you'll be hearing from my Lawyer shortly!!). I suppose I've been annointed by a Rock God now???
Amyway, loved the Classic Rock show - great set list too. Regards to all.
Thank you James, all. This is a great video. I watch this stuff instead of watching TV! Massive repect!
I love the message thats been left on Wayne's Pedal board...
Watched them in Birmingham for the first time and they were bloody brilliant!!
Great Rig Run down from you guys, looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday.........Rock On!!
Further to my previous comment the drummer deserves a special mention all the different styles of drumming and he managed to nail them all
We saw them at Gateshead. My son is a guitarist and has been following Pete for years and didnt know he joined the group. Then he came on stage and my boy was blown away, as i was. Thanks.
Really great video Pete. Wished you did this show in the States! Thank you so much for posting this!
Hey, it’s Pete - as in: Thorn! I have over and followed Pete’s online career for years, Plus seeing Pete play with Chris Cornell at the Dallas House of Blues. A true guitar hero - but also a true gentleman. Love you Pete.
This was awesome and so is the show.
Great as always
This rundown was well presented. The sound quality was good. I'm a fan of Pete's other videos. The other two guys did a great job showing off their equipment as well.
This is the rig rundown I was waiting for guys, awesome video, thanks! Great tones :)
LOVED IT! Thanks guys.
Nice the Classic rock show ❤️🎄🎄🌲🌲
It's great that the players take tone seriously, it avoids that cruise ship rock band generic tone! Hopefully I will be able to see you guys in Canada!
Get on the boat .come to America!! Really great video . I enjoyed !
Good video. Caught the Portsmouth show, really top musicians, Pete absolutely smashed it. A hat tip to your sound crew too...awesome gig.
Thanks guys, see you next year.
Looking forward to seeing these very talented musicians and vocalists in two weeks :)
Australia beckons boys and girls. A Classic Rock Show touring down under has to be on the cards.......please!!
Fantastic demo guys well done and thanks for all information on your rigs 😊😊
First! Ha
Coming to see you guys in Eastbourne on Thursday 👍✌️
Hey Pete is this a permanent gig for you now or are you just filling in for Howie G
Hell of a rig setup Pete!
Great stuff, Pete 😀👍 what were you using the hx stomp for?
Great gig in Northampton hope you are staying on in the uk all the best
Finally an alternative channel to the vapid crap pumped out on the radio (excepting Johnnie Walker). We can't turn back the clock but this'll do - cheers for keeping this stuff alive.
🤗🤗🤗 i'm your no.1 fan .. sir James Cole😘
Just so you know, I am only here because of Pete. I will subscribe to see more Pete content.
Ox4 Livin.. great band! killer tight!
Wayne is awesome ,this band is amazing
Looking forward to your fantastic show in The lowry. Coming from Denmark
So incredibly informative... love it
I was at the Cardiff show, where most of this video is filmed. I've been aware of Pete since his days with Chris Cornell, and didn't actually know he was part of this tour until the show started. Nice to see him play in person.
Saw you guys in Cheltenham great night, awesome really enjoyed it cannot wait for next year
Nice insight into how you produce such a great show looking forward to seeing you at the Sage Gateshead 👍
Very cool Pete!!!
I did both Guildford and Basingstoke - both superb gigs - cannot get enough guitar- all 3 superb guitar masters
Useful content! Thank you guys!
Saw you at Gateshead...awesome. guys are brilliant. You must be the best live band around right now.
That's cool, the signature guitar & the signature guitar player LOL
Wow, that's a monster pedal board! Using the switcher is a great move.
Very Cool...
Never knew you had to go to "flight school" to play guitar; clearly, Pete Thorn and James Cole did - as evidenced by the Classic Rock Show I experienced in Glasgow a few weeks ago. Their sonic acrobatics were tremendous! Now I've viewed their "flight controls", I say "WOW"...!!! Keep "flying" Guys!
Excellent! Come to Europe!
Yeah Helix in the Stage -----------Rock and Roll Baby........
This was quite informative
This is a great show. I really wished that they would tour in the US. I think there would be a good market for it.
US and Canada would be a very good market.... if they ever would come to Toronto, I would purchase 4 tickets right off the bat... :)
No doubt. If they ever came to Wisconsin I'm first in line. They'd fit in great with a gig at the Bucks arena, Fiserv Forum.
See you ghuys again on the 16th in Eden Court Inverness looking forward to the new line up
Can't wait for the 11th in Gateshead!
Love Wayne Banks :-)
Good!
Nice. Video
I saw you guys at Cheltenham last week , an awesome show ,nice to get a bit of background on all that lovely gear even though I am a keyboard guy ,any chance of a spin round the keys rig please for us guys in the engine room :) please come to Jersey soon !!!
Looking forward to seeing CRS again in Manchester the true home of the Bee Gees!
Still got a big grin on my face and it’s been a month now since I saw you in Birmingham
Good to see a Dan Whitelock-Jones Rangemaster on the board. Amazing pedal.
Come to Ireland!!
Love you guys, keep up the excellent work!!! More Jess Harwood PLEAAAASSSSSE lol
Some day , make a tour to Argentina , please , Me and my Father will be awesome to share this covers ...
Great video, brutal audio.
I love Queens It's a Kinda Magic album.
Saw you guys at Eastbourne last night, awesome show, sadly a little under supported, but I think we rocked the s *!t out of the place by the end, so hope that made up for the lack of bums on seats
This is a great rundown! Thanks!
Would love to hear them of "Reflections of my Life" by Marmalade!
pete really knows sounds .every thing he plays is really good example of whets needed, im like o hell id use than ,then o yes that too.etc etc
I was at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall on the 23rd and it was AWESOME, Wanted to meet the band but me sister made me leave because she was up at 5am :(
Hey what happened to the other guitar player, that played in 2019?
Oh! bogner ecstasy blue!! luke sound!!
i had to play a 45rpm and stop it to learn songs great tho tech to day is fantastic.
Pete: “Pedals Pedals Pedals Pedals Pedals”
Other guy: “All those classic tones are just old amps turned up really loud.”
Pete: “Yeah, but Pedals Pedals Pedals Pedals Pedals”
#4
Love these guys ! Great musicians but i got a little attached to the people from a couple years ago .
Me too especially Ricardo 👌
Nice little cameo from Mr.Greenwood !!
wow so many peadls
will the band ever tour the states???
Enjoyed the rig rundown but what about the drums? I'm sure that you have lots of drummers among your fans who would be interested in seeing what gear is being used.
John Hartley no one come here for drums.
Do the sideburns affect the tone? Ha ha sorry. But the rig is awesome.
By Hendrix - that pedal board is the size of a favela!
I want to see light board set up
Just another covers band then!!
When did Howie G leave? and under what circumstances?
The still got the blues guy.. Me too want to know
@@patikhambaNya he left to pursue a solo career
Jeezes, that amp makes a lot of noise
I dont think its the amp, actually. I think the automatic gain control is making the hiss seem worse than it actually is. The recorder is pushing up that aspect of the signal going into the video camera.
It’s a dirty business, rock and roll
What happened to the original line up loved those guys ?
not enough background noise
holaa
Rogers off to catering..
Come to Cleveland ohio usa
suhr is amasing sound-----but al leaest i buy a marshall----dsl 15...listen to this please
too noise
Suhr is trying to take Tyler down for the ugliest fucking headstock.
Hey, what was that (not a) Les Paul? Not a Gibson?? Eww
Sadly guys, your show sound quality on Monday evening at Harrogate was awful. Keyboards, bass and drums way too low in the mix, compressed to hell, lacked punch & clarity. You guys pointing at the keyboards in Highway Star for the classic solo only highlighted the fact we couldn't hear it! Couldn't hear the ride & hat cymbals at all either. Was really up for it but totally disappointed.
Nobody cares!
