adalberht it’s best to draw things as close to life as you can. Often when you draw from pictures it’s very noticeable and tends to look flatter. I’ve noticed an immense improvement in my gesture drawings once I stopped working from photo and began to work from video. This may not be the reason that he’s using zoom, but it’s the reason I would.
@@shellakabooki3349 i’ve done a research 😂 he said in an interview that he loves derwent pencils. There’s the word pastel written on the pencil when I zoomed the video. So, derwent pastel pencils maybe😂

I read he likes to feel a connection and feel the energy of the model. so that is probably why. i guess its better than a Photo for him. haha
