    Thanks for these videos. I ordered green and orange kits from Injora to convert both my Jeep SCX24's. The order has made it Stateside from China. Now waiting on USPS.

    I just got my Injora rock buggy kit from Amazon today. It did come with directions and it did come with an injora sticker pack but they both weren’t in the packaging they were just loose in the envelope. Liked your video so I subscribed keep them coming I love my tiny trucks lol 😂

      Nice one mate! Your going to love the little buggy, they are heaps of fun. I got the sticker sheet maybe I overlooked the instructions? Doesn't matter now its built! Thanks for the kind words, I'm going to keep working hard to give you guys the best 1/24 scale content I can!

    When your wheels are lifting off the incline like that it is from the shocks unloading. Use some rubber bands as limit straps to counter this. Hook them around the upper links right behind the servo and around the very top front bumper area, this will change everything. Also, get the brass wheels from injora. Moforc AFIB’s mounted at the upper shock mount will give you better shock position choices. It will fit some long travel shocks about 43mm. Mount the front upper shock position as rearward as you can, the rear upper as far forward for the most articulation and it helps it sit lower too. This thing is an amazing thing for a non LCG chassis. Deadbolt links up front and c10 fronts in the back make the perfect wheelbase for my liking. Next is 4ws on this thing!

      Thanks for you detailed comment, some really solid suggestions there! I still haven't done anything with the suspension on the two little Injora buggies we have here! I'm still surprised with its stock capabilities, of course there I'd always room for improvement. I did swap the esc to a Furitek Iguana pro and I'm running it on 3s. It's a beast for sure. Thanks for watching, I appreciate you being here!

      It's such a game changer for me over the stock configuration. The fact you can have good belly clearance but still have that low center of gravity and Insane vertical performance! It's a sick little rig, thanks for watching!

    So the upper arms aren’t hitting the ESC case at full compression? I put mine like you had it first and slide the battery as far forward as it can go.

    • @havikhobbies
      @havikhobbies  Рік тому

      I'm running stock JLU front links and shocks and the links don't touch the esc at full compression. The Injora kit is designed to house the esc in that location.

    Very nice video with great details for this Injora buggy kit. I have a Furitek Lizard Pro ultimate that I want to utilize along with a fairly tiny receiver for my GT5 radio. Do you think these electronics upgrades will provide an easier install? I will need to figure out a brushed motor and transmission. Thanks for doing the 3 part build series of videos-very helpful.

    • @havikhobbies
      @havikhobbies  Рік тому

      I'm glad you found the videos helpful! I think you would find space for the receiver and esc, I can't be 100% sure as I don't have those exact components to confirm. Thanks for watching!

      having the furitek system made it easier by the looks. Mine went together fairly easily and i have the interior with a small flysky receiver. I love this chasis. They look great and perform very well. Injora is really nailing it with their stuff. Only complaint is the light bar doesn't turn off on the 3rd channel lol. I have to put in a remote switch

    How high is that piece of plywood off the ground that your using in your track? That little guy crawls like a spider. I have an extra Jeep laying around I might need to build one of those.

    • @havikhobbies
      @havikhobbies  Рік тому +1

      I guess that plywood platform sits 9 inches or so off the ground? The little buggy is no joke when it hits the rocks! I plan on completely redoing my rock course to make it more challenging as the trucks inevitably improve.

    • @havikhobbies
      @havikhobbies  Рік тому

      Unfortunately I don't have any brushless setups to say yes or no on the install. IMO it's such a cool and inexpensive kit it might be worth building as a brushed rig even if the brushless motor doesn't fit!

      Brushless will work, i have a forward facing brushed and i just had to trim the piece he is mounting his electronics to. I have my v1 electronics mounted on the side right in the “door” and run the furitek lizard which goes in the back. Small batteries will fit in the opposite door area if they are 300-400mah.

    • @havikhobbies
      @havikhobbies  11 місяців тому +1

      The light bar plugs in just like the stock SCX24 LEDs. The V2 electronics let you switch light from off, on and flashing from the stock transmitter.

      @@havikhobbies cool pal , so I need to get a lead if I put esc under front for battery

    • @havikhobbies
      @havikhobbies  11 місяців тому

      Yeah you'll need some sort of power lead out of the controller to extend power wires. Because it's too tight to be pluggin/unplugging battery with controller under the front.
