I have a Vic and I'm so tempted to at least save it to do "someday"... As far as the bed, you can chop up a picture in Photoshop and see if you think it's worth it. I think for aesthetics, a couple of inches would look better, but that's a long way to go for a nudge. Great instrument panel match-up. Pretty truck.
My friend told me about this a few years ago before he sold me his Mom Grand Marquis because he was considering buying a truck to use for her chassis. Her car was way to nice to chop up so I forced him to sell it to me.
wow ! people just dont understand the dedication, time, money etc etc that goes into doing a project this big . i all ways wanted to put a 69-72 chevy pickup body on a g body frame. congrats on a job very well done !!
What a awesome truck! I just really think u should have cut the back, short box truck looks sooo much better and add more value to the truck. Great job all together. I love u kept the truck dask and we're able to use the car gages, real slick.
I was thinking you took the crown Vic motor and swapped it to the truck not put the ford cab on the crown Vic! Awesome video big surprise. I like the fox body in the back ground. Love fox body mustangs
yes sir. I like how it turned out still got to finish it up, but it sure makes for a nice driver. and yes, the fox needs to get finished up and decide if I'm going to keep it.
Haha awesome the bed dose seem to be a lil lower then the cab almost looks like when u crack a frame maybe u should add like some spacers or rubber bushings on the bed to make it sit a lil more flush with the cab but over all looks bad ass
Thatsa pretty cool swap. It would cost a fortune to give that truck a lowrider, comfortable and easy to drive. When I saw what you were doing well it just made sense and you make it look easier than sure it is,but you make it look simple. 👍
Killer!!!! I wonder is this is possible with a OBS ford?.?.? Also if it’s possible to retain the Vic dash and how you would title it if it had the Vic vin in the windshield
that truck looks fabulous now I like how it turned out. I have a '53 truck and I was thinking about something like that with a 2009 Grand Marquis but in the end I sold it. Lol. But I find another 2007 what year is this crow vic you have there.
I built one a few years ago and I've mostly used it for just cruising but lately I've been trying to haul stuff in the bed.... the suspension is just not there to be able to put any real weight. Did you do anything to the rear suspension? I've heard f150 shocks on the rear help?
I was getting ready to ask if you cut a short or long bed. Now I know. Great job man. I have a line on a crown vic and i'm trying to find a 60s-70s F100@@tdchotrods9889
For must have been planning ahead when they developed the F-Series and the Crown Vic. Or, it was just an accident like the guy and the girl who ran into each other to make Reece's Peanut Butter Cups in the commercial.
And because it's a Vic, it's very reliable. This is really cool! 😎
Thank you
I really like these conversions. I'm guessing it's a dream to drive.
yea its pretty darn awesome.
Well shoot. Guess im on the look for a Crown Vic. I have my grandfather's 68 ive been wondering what to do it. Well done!
I have my 66 and this project looks awesome great job
thank you
How inspiring this is so cool...I need a daily like this

Nice swap, Well Done! Thanks for showing it all in just 7 minutes.

Incredible build! Now I gotta learn how to weld so I can make one of these myself!
GREAT JOB. The first time I watched a build video twice! Thank you for sharing. Keep up your innovations 💡!
Thank you
Great swap, I snagged a 1 owner 64,000 vic, for my 64 short bed. Posting to my channel.
Heck yes that's awesome
Nice build, thanks for the video!!

Damm this the best video on how to do the swap I’ve seen keep it up bro 🔥🔥🔥🔥
thank you
It was of great help ... Awesome video
thank you
This was pretty sweet. Never would have thought to body swap onto a crown vic.
My friend told me about this a few years ago before he sold me his Mom Grand Marquis because he was considering buying a truck to use for her chassis. Her car was way to nice to chop up so I forced him to sell it to me.

That would be awesome!! You should do it.
Really awesome thanks and keep going it!
Awesome work dude i hope my 54 turns out this good
Hell yea man!
Well done That's so so cool
thank you

this has got to me the 4th or 5th swap i seen on you tube since they did it on motortrend tv on hotrod garage a couple years ago when they did it!!
Looks good my friend.
My grandads 64 needs engine transmission ,glass, drive shaft.
I’m thinking cv donor car
Keep us posted as you pile up the miles!
Will do

Wow. Cool build. I have a wrecked k5 and an 03 Tahoe I want to match up
Like your videos man.. come back!
I am doing a 1949 Ford F1 swap and I watched this series a few times to see how you did stuff. This is what youtube should really be about.
Killer!!!! I wonder is this is possible with a OBS ford?.?.? Also if it’s possible to retain the Vic dash and how you would title it if it had the Vic vin in the windshield
I'm watching one of the better builds I seen in 6 years
Thank you!
Like your video sir
This video was awesome!! I'm going to attempt this with an International 1210. Anything you would suggest I pay particular attention to?
not really its a pretty nice chassis to make everything easy> just make sure not to cut any of the wiring with the cut off wheel like I did 😂Opps
This may be easier than taking my 68 international and adding crown vic front end, changing engine and rear end. Thinking about it.
Mpg difference from before and after? Truck body probably weighs less then the crown vic did, but not as aerodynamic. Nice build.
that truck looks fabulous now I like how it turned out. I have a '53 truck and I was thinking about something like that with a 2009 Grand Marquis but in the end I sold it. Lol.
But I find another 2007
what year is this crow vic you have there.
2003
Thank you..
What’s the pick point your using for the chain hoist in a building like that?
🖐🏽Nice nice Yes yes!
For how much would you build one. Only labor I will provide the car n the truck just estimate your work is awesome
i charge 10k for labor to build one.
I built one a few years ago and I've mostly used it for just cruising but lately I've been trying to haul stuff in the bed.... the suspension is just not there to be able to put any real weight. Did you do anything to the rear suspension? I've heard f150 shocks on the rear help?
Loved the way it look year is the crown vic ??
03
This was awesome. Just great work dude. I have a 1965 f100 short stepside. Do you think I would have to cut the bed on it like you did?
No the vic wheel base is the same has a stock short bed😀
I was getting ready to ask if you cut a short or long bed. Now I know. Great job man. I have a line on a crown vic and i'm trying to find a 60s-70s F100@@tdchotrods9889
Do you have any rubbing at all with those wheels? What tire size are you running?
For must have been planning ahead when they developed the F-Series and the Crown Vic. Or, it was just an accident like the guy and the girl who ran into each other to make Reece's Peanut Butter Cups in the commercial.
lol right
Is it possible to not have it so slammed looking, can you lift it a few inches with springs? Or will it not fit?
you could just not channel it as far as i did over the frame to get it taller
Would you consider making another for purchase ?
Absolutely!
Swap the gauge for the digital gauges from those years grand marquis
That would be sweet
I cut the body off my 03 crown Vic but now I get no crank or start. It just ticks a bunch. Any recommendations?
Maybe grounds?
To bad I don’t have a shop to do the job I have the perfect crown Vic for a build I just need to find the right truck for it.
Check your "grounding" connections.
There are multiple grounds on these cars. You may have overlooked a critical grounding point.
About how long did the swap take you?
2.5 weeks after work. But long nights
I would give this video 10 thumbs up if I could.
thank you
What do you register the truck as?
1965 f250
What year was the crown Vic?
2003
You guys made it look so simple like if you had both cars you could just drive one under the other really no big fab to make it work
thanks
Oh this is probably where bodevision got the idea from, instead of a vic he is using a towncar.
So legally... is this a 65 f100? or a Crown Vic?
Also curious how registration works
The id is on the body, so it’s an f series pickup, I would say. Looks like a pickup, smells like a pickup…. But I could be wrong. Awesome build though
Where is your NEW content?
Did you "lose the shop"?
different
Please paint it. Patina has been done to death.
Strangest swap I’ve ever seen, but I absolutely love it! 😂
lol thanks
