They will keep this car forever!
Thanks for watching!
What a beautiful and rare car. It's nice to have a car with history.
We agree 100%. Thanks for watching
Beautiful old Packard! They were noted for making high quality cars back then. From the mid 1930's to late 1940's,many automakers used a simulated wood grain finish on their metal dashboards and window surrounds - it was considered high style during that time period....
Yeah it certainly is. Thanks for sharing the information and thanks for watching!
The lights in the back above each side are reading lights controlled by a switch on a side pillar.
Thanks for sharing and for watching!
The Golden Swan!
Got to love that Golden Swan, thanks for watching!
The prism is so you can see the traffic light without leaning forward and craning your neck. It's not a reflection, it bends the light much as a lens does, only in one direction and not all directions.
A pretty cool device! Thanks for sharing and thanks for watching!
Overdrive operates in 2nd and 3rd, giving the car a 5-speed transmission.
Thanks for the update!
I’ve got the exact same car but mine is a 1947 with 19K original miles. My grandfather bought it brand new from Packard of Cleveland.
Sweet! A generational family car, too cool. Thanks for sharing and thanks for watching!
Nice , had a neighbor down the street that had a 48 or 49 Packard limousine, his was a California car since new. Packard outsold Cadillac in 48&49
It’s a magnificent car and a true shame that Packard isn’t around anymore. They we’re definitely a high class vehicle and set the world standard in so many ways. Thanks for sharing and thanks for watching
Gorgeous example!
Yes it was! Thanks for watching and don’t forget to hit that subscribe button!
That's a classy chassis.
It certainly is, thanks for watching!
There has never been a president in Guatemala with that name......
Correct, he got the first name wrong, it should have been Carlos Arana Osario, Guatemalan President from 1970-74. Thanks for the correction and thanks for watching!
