They are overall a great vehicle. If you do all your correct maintenance, you should be fine in the reliability department. The only downside is that the power is not insane. For the age and class it is plenty. The reason why I say this though is because daily driving, you gotta accelerate slowly (keep the rpms if you can 2k--2.5k or less if you can when accelerating), because if you don't, your going get pretty bad gas mileage. If you barely drive in the city (stop and go driving) and you mostly drive on the highway then you get pretty decent gas mileage. Also use the drive modes 1, 2, and 3 when applicable for certain situations for better performance, and possibly fuel efficiency.
My friend had a 1999 (same gen) thing felt like a tin can inside. Definitely was nervous of someone t-boning the thing. Please still do the new Passport and Pilot
@DMCarReviews why? like which is overall best first car for all . ACCORD 6TH GEN, 7TH GEN OR CRV. can you please tell me the most reliable and best fuel economy
I'd definitely be down to review one. I'm pretty sure I already know what I'll think of it. Not a fan of 4 cylinders in sporty sedans. They also have squeaky interiors. I've been in one last summer, and I wasn't a fan.
I remember when my uncle got this car. It was great with the picnic table. Unfortunately his had a bad axle when he got it but eventually it was replaced under warranty. When he accepted the car would vibrate.
Oh man… you got some nice Honda test drives that I’m liking so far!
That's great! Glad to hear that.
Between this and crv, which do u prefer?
@@Ricchmic_ What is the other car?
These older, mid-2000's Honda CR-V's are the best vehicles in the world.
Great cars!
@@DMCarReviewsmy friend had one of these. He complained saying it’s slow lol. These are not speed demons but enough for many people I think.
I like old Hondas. Looking at possibly finding a decent used C-RV that’s a generation newer than this for myself. Nice video.
Thank you for watching!

They are plenty quick for daily driving!

They do feel pretty light
This gen is 2001-06
Yeah, the first gen CR-V didn't well in crash tests. The 97-01 model only got a "Marginal" rating from the IIHS offset frontal crash test.
7:44 was that a wine noise when you floor it?
No idea!
Between this and crv, which do u prefer?
What car are you comparing it to?
@@DMCarReviews I mean accord 7th gen or 6th gen even
@@Ricchmic_ 6th

Would you go for a CR V with 200,000 kms or a 2006 HR V with 50000 kms?
CR-V is the better pick, in my opinion.
Just got one of these for the fam. I feel like fuckin Nigel Thornberry.
@7:42 I just about had a goddamn heart attack when that stupid van driver just stopped like that.
I know!!
Whenever you get a chance I would like to see your review of a 2024 C43 AMG

Along the lines of everyone else cool!
@@derrickpurvis839What do you mean?
Everyone else is saying the same thing
It's fast and everything I guest it's the point of a 4 cylinder AMG
You gotta do a 2003 Infiniti G35 coupe manual?
That is hard to find

I miss the Infiniti coupes man they don't even make the q60 or Q50 anymore
@@anthonycarreviews1528 What? They do make the q50/q60
I love these but DAMN are they inflated on price.
