    From time-slips to encounters with shadow entities, what ancient secrets are hidden deep within the Iraqi and Jordanian deserts? Batn ElGhoul, one of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan's most haunted locations, has for 150 years been the sight of numerous paranormal phenomena that have now been connected to events as far reaching as the establishment and destruction of the The Hejaz Railway by T.E Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia), to the CIA's remote viewing government initiative Project Stargate.

    Hello. First of all thanks to Karim for the continuous support, lending his voice to my content.
    I had to take an unexpected break Late October 2023: The shock of regional events plus a rapidly growing mental burnout around that time was only made 200 times worse due to a couple of sudden family crises one of which resulted in the death of my Grandmother. Plus other real world commitments meant I had to step back from uploading stuff publicly.
    Anyho this episode is extra long, and I anticipate that the next few episodes will be feature length (35 min +). I hope that’s serves as some compensation for that long break 😉
    EDIT: BTW Eid Mubarak to all that are celebrating 🙌🏽 🎉

    I had an opportunity to live and work in the predominantly Muslim country of Indonesia from 2014 through 2016, and one of the things that I noticed while I was there is that Muslims seem to have a different take on paranormal activity than people do in western countries such as the United States. My personal experience when talking to friends and colleagues was that paranormal events are fairly common, but that most Muslims don't freak out about it. Many Muslims explained to me that because Jinn are spoken about in the Koran, people just accept these unusual events without being frightened by them. Americans, however, react differently to these sort of events. While in Indonesia, I was sent to Jakarta to do a training with a group of Fulbright Fellows. We told them that if there were any questions that they had, they should post those questions on a bulletin board and we would deal with them. However, I found it interesting that many of them mentioned that they were having problems in their homes at night: strange noises, hearing footsteps but no one was there, and items moving around without being touched. While I can see how this might be frightening to some, as a teacher, I was not prepared to help them with this. However, it was very interesting!

    • @stacyhott1031
      @stacyhott1031 Місяць тому +12

      Yes they respond different to paranormal because they understand God gave us domain over all on earth including demons,(jinn)!

    • @NotJustAnotherCody
      @NotJustAnotherCody 28 днів тому

      The quran was given to them by a Satan, so its no surprising Muslims would see demons
      Or what they call jinn as ok or apart of life. Christians are taught that spirits are not to be engaged.
      Satan masquerades as an angel of light The lord gives us power to expel these entities. For we do not fight flesh and blood but spirits and principalities Of darkness.

      Indonesian do feel indifferent in front of Paranormal beings. Sure, they were spooked at first, then they started to get stronger and braver the longer they seeing things coz the Indos are peoples that get curious easily. Asian peoples are prob the least people to be easily disturbed by them. What they were doctrined is to be strong mentally and faithfully in front of any Djinns, and not showing any fear or doubt. In return, the Djinns will afraid of them and ran away from them.

      The other reason they call it the saw is because the velocity of the fully automatic machine gun will literally cut a person in half. That’s how deadly this weapon is and only reason I know about this information is my son who is deployed in Afghanistan security forces for two years and, that was his primary weapon deadly and very heavy. You really do need to be trained well to use this weapon.

    This correlates with the numerous testimonies I've read of U.S soldiers having this kind of encounters in Iraq & Afghanistan.
    I recognize some similarities with the hoofed entity, it's something I used to hear about it Algeria where some people mentioned sighting in some old hammams (communal bathhouses)
    Also wonder why these countries have a such extensive occult knowledge and even encounters compared to other areas in the world

    Absolutely amazing video! I was enthralled by the multitude of interrelated and varying paranormal content. You literally got the best of ALL WORLDS with the myriad of different paranormal topics and themes. We go from cryptids, shadow bastards, to not only exploring the "mysterious Middle East" but all over the global map. This episode checked all the boxes for me; we go from military stories, to history facts intertwined with those military stories, to varying times in World History being discussed and then to Skinwalkers, ,to jinn, to the Annunaki, to all Abrahamic religious references, viewpoints and lore, to current events in the Middle East, to Joe McGonigicle and Project Stargate and astral projection. I mean there's probably more that was referenced that I missed as this was so jam packed with intrigue, but boy oh boy I am glad there are new episodes stockpiled and if they are even remotely as good as this one, we are all in for a treat!
    But i am really happy to see you back in action my friend - Wallahi! I wish peace and abundance to all righteous souls! For I wish that we all make the World peaceful and prosperous ... and sincerely happy you are well in mind, body, and spirit my friend!! And again, masterfully well done video!

    Hello. I'm from Iraq and I confirm that your cultural understanding of ancient folklore of Iraq and Jordan is good. Naturally, when I heard that notorious scary name Se'lowwah many memories came back to me. Not that I claim to have seen this entity, but due to what I associate with it from elderly people's stories.
    Unfortunately, there is still a bad habit common in some Islamic countries which causes mental trauma for many children and sometimes it remains for a very long time. For example in Iraq parents scare their vary young kids that if they don't go to bed early Se'lowwah will come and devour them! Also, in Iran they scare the toddlers and young kids that if they don't obey, Lulu will devour them! I think Lulu has something to do with Lilith.

    You're genuinely one of my favorite UA-camrs, I've been on the platform since the start & perhaps some bias is my intrigue in the middle east, but nun the less the quality shows.

    Awesome video ❤. In Japan the supernatural beings are referred to as the Yokai and human spirits are referred to as the Yurei in general. Have a great week.
