It is an interesting watch if you are a runner and don’t mind the larger bezel. I have enjoyed the light weight construction, the wonderful battery 🔋 life, easy to read screen, solar charging, V02 Max score after my running workouts, and even a recovery time estimate to help me avoid overtraining 😎
Can you test its solar charge and heart rate? recently I make Garmin instinct solar and Casio this to choose, but I looked at a lot of reviews, they recommended garmin system better. So How do recommend either?
Yep! I will test those and include the data in my next G-SHOCK GBD-H1000 video. And yes, I'll let you know if I recommend Garmin or Casio. Thanks for the input!
I must have been 😴 tired and just read your “slow running” text 😹 yeah, slow running, walking, jogging, cycling, hiking, and walking - they all function.
I use this watch daily. I'm not a runner I mostly take walks with my wife about 2 time a week with gps and heart rate to track our walk and I use it hiking, with the ABC functions it's very useful for hiking with gps
@@PeterHerget I usually calibrate the ABC before a hike or walk. I haven't had to calibrate the compass although I check it with a regular compass before using on a hike. Great Channel New sub here 👍 keep up the good work!
Thanks Huey and hooray for the Philippines there are so many gorgeous islands! I was friends with many Filipino families when I lived in Milan, Italy decades ago and loved your culture, food, hospitality, and the warm they showed me as a foreign Americano in Italia... One family even wanted to buy me clothes and take me shopping for groceries!
Hi admin, love your simple reviews about this watch. I have a question to ask you something about this watch. Before that, just want to tell you that i love this watch design, very neat and beautiful to me. Also smart features are superb. But i dont do sports/exercise/fitness things. My question, should i buy this watch for normal daily use like using normal watch? Does it is like waste of money if i'm purchase it but don't using their features? Or should i just buy normal watch? What is your opinions and suggestions about it based on my questions? Thank you.
Casio made a nice watch with this GBD-H1000 and it was designed for runners. It doesn’t track sleep, it does kind of track of cycling, but not really. It is a thick watch and doesn’t fit under my long sleeve shirts - something to consider… There was an update since I purchased it that made the accuracy better. For the same $400 price you could get a Garmin Venu 2 smartwatch and it would track 101 more things. I would pass on this Casio Move series and wait until it is refined further in 2022.
@@PeterHerget Thank you for answer. Really appreciate that. You got the point there. Alright, will considering Garmin right now. Will do research about that. Thanks for your information and opinions. Thank you very much.
Garmin still had room for improvement on their sleep tracking too. They are moving in the right direction for they purchased the company that was analyzing sleep data. I am expect awesome improvements from Garmin 2022, and from Apple, Fitbit, Samsung, Withings, and yes, Casio too 🤞🤞
The transparent, clear bezel stayed that white color up until I sold it several weeks ago. I had the watch for nearly 10 months and there was no color changes on the bezel.
It took a while, nearly four months, and yes, I finished the video... here it is: ua-cam.com/video/F8cBbBSdmZA/v-deo.html

I know it's for running but would it be okay hiking still I mean it just a really slow run LOL.
Yes, it would be great for hiking and I've used for the activity. It does have a compass built in.

Thanks for the feedback Rich 👍🏻 Do you feel the compass and GPS are accurate?

How do you see this watch on the long term? Like 5+ years from now?
I would think it would still be functioning. That ka for watching Huey 🤓
@@PeterHerget love your practical usage man. Keep it up. Love from the Philippines 🇵🇭

How heavy is the watch? Does it move a lot on your wrist while running?
It does move a bit, so I have to wear it tightly around my wrist to avoid the sliding of the Casio watch.
And he never came back from that 5km
Sorry, yes, I returned from the 5K and the video goes up tomorrow 😬
I returned...and here is what happened: ua-cam.com/video/F8cBbBSdmZA/v-deo.html

How is the transparent bezel now? Did it become yellow?
Please replay!

I would like to know if this video was sponsored or was a really honest review of your watches?
