My favorite line has got to be “I’ll burn brighter, than this City’s book powered fires”. It ties into Library of Ruina’s main theme that every person’s life is a book, so when it says “book powered” it in reality means “human life powered”

Before: Wow, such a profound song with deep meaning and metaphor.
After: Wow, this is also a character theme and those metaphors were ALSO very literal lyrics refering to the character/situation.
hearing her sing "Only this time I'm smiling at your side" is by far the most beautiful lyrics I know in any song, though I am bias due to knowing the lore.
I love how he visibly recoils from psychic damage every time he detects a reference
"Allow my heart to hold enough love to be broken" might be my favourite line ever

Really? To my ear, this song is like 90% melancholy, only becoming positive towards the end. "Imagined Flight," "Unidentified Flavourful Object," "Colorful" (though that one's a cover of an H∆G song), "world.search(you);" "Excαlibur," "Let the Maggots Sing," "Within," "Static," "Cast Me a Spell," and "Flowerworks" all seem more positive.

ironic as iit's the song that makes me most emotional out of the ruina ones, but it's mostly bc of a feeling of missing going through ruina for the first ever time
I'm so late, but I think my favorite thing to ever be said about Project Moon is: "While most people who make games are game developers pretending to be poets & storywriters, Project Moon are poets & storywriters pretending to be game developers." A sly nod at the amazing storytelling & emotion put into their works.. In contrast to the games admittedly poor coding. They really do feel so incredibly experienced in literature & have decided to put it all into a style of art that they have little experience in & honestly? I'm so glad they did!
Important note: they're improving so fast nowadays!!! But yes, older games were quite silly in their coding.

This song in particular sticks out to me as a sort of perfect capstone to the emotional rollercoaster that was Library of Ruina. You're completely right that with the context of the game story, this song just hits so much harder, to the point where it left me completely stunned for the entirety of the credits sequence.

My favourite Mili track! A passionate, emotional song about a machine learning to love and appreciate a world in spite of having her synthetic heart broken so thoroughly.
this is one of my favourite songs of the game, it's so easy to picture Angela singing it :)
I would have never expected a serie of video games to make me read that much
Listening to this song after finishing this game and understanding all of the references to Angela’s character makes the song instantly 10x better than it already is
Think you would love this game if you ever have the time to try it out. This song is indeed played for the credits, but that's after the original was replaced by it, which many players were sad that we lost and couldn't have the other be a 'True Ending' kind of credits roll, since the original had 'Theme' playing and a bunch of heartwarming scenes of the characters play out.
Also, random throw out cause it's one of my favorite game tracks ever; Shudder from Einhander. Never seen anyone react to it either I think, loved the game as a kid.
I finished listening Mili's songs from PM playlist and it was wonderful to relive the emotions that these songs gave me, thank you for going through this with the listeners! your impressions were very interesting and informative

I would love to see Bulbel from ender Lillie’s. it was my first mili song and was the song that got me interested in ruina cause I kept seeing it’s music recommended to me after listening to Bulbel on UA-cam after beating the game.

Schools do tend to force a lot of knowledge upon you, literature included, which makes the relationship quite strained, usually. But if you're ever bored and curious, do give some of those books, or other ones, another try, on your own terms this time! I'm sure you'd find it a lot more interesting now. Just don't force and rush it

Tho after listening to this song could there possibly be a catcher in the rye reference? At all? I know PM loves including literature and catcher in the rye is a big one especially if they wanted an addition of American literature.
