      Your grandmother must have dementia because she forgot to add oil/butter and salt. Those are important. She used too many eggs and too much sugar. What matters is consistency of the batter, and how thinly, uniformly and quickly you can spread it, as well the pan & flame. You can substitute half of the milk with water and even that won't matter. You can put one egg to a cup of flour and that won't matter. Crepe ingredients are very forgiving as long as you develop the needed cooking skills.

    Hey. What do you do when the pan is already hot, so the batter starts to cook as soon as you drop it on the pan? When I try my spreader then, it just ruins the crepe.

      When the pan is starting to get hot, pour the batter and spin, then when you’re done spinning the pan will be hot

      Sprinkle some cold water on the pan. You can watch some videos where dosa (Indian pancakes) are being made.

    I used the crepe pro recipe on the website and my batter wasn't half as thick as that! 😱

    • @crepepro704
      @crepepro704  3 роки тому +4

      To help it thicken, make sure you leave it the fridge to cool for at least 30 minutes!
