What’s surprising to me is that this place where you’re being loaded, this sort of life-base with all these equipments and containers on the sides, does not appear to have received any crushed limestone to allow the trucks to come and go, or if it did, that wasn't enough for sure ! It is rather counter-productive from a planning and work organization point of view ! And by the way, what is this job site ? What do they do there that produces such amount of mud stuff, that they must evacuate ? Bonne journée Amigo !
It’s a drilling operation, they are drilling a hole thru a mountain basically for a gas line. The sludge is the stuff produced from drilling. They put boards down for the trucks to drive on but over time the mud works its way past the wood. They put stone down on top of the wood and remove as much mud as they can when they can. But we’ve had a lot of rain the past two weeks.
