    Excellent details about various battery options for Electric Vehicles - this video is 2 years old but is still valid. The prices continue to be similar despite much penetration of such batteries in the EV market.
    Do note that the prices mentioned are for batteries alone and it does not include the cost of charging the batteries (unit cost of electricity) not does it in any way account for the vehicle being green.
    This cost is over and above the current cost of the vehicle. Charging cost and battery installation cost with replacement of engine and purchase and installation of DC motor is all extra as is electricity cost.
    But it's an awesome video nonetheless, with much details of various battery options! 😊

      Yes, lfp is better in terms of performance and life but required more space than lithium ion....

      Yes you can use without any problem. If BMS trip due to overload. It will resat automatically after some time...

    Well explained. thanks. if LTO battery is used and a person travels 4 hours a day using 4 cycles charge
    the battery can be used for 2500 days i.e. approximately 7 years. What will be the performance of the
    battery after 3 or 4 years and what is the self life of the battery.

    I have the following questions and appreciate your response.
    (A) How do we decide the size of motor for a given donor vehicle, for eg. the motor size would definitely vary for a maruti 800 and a Ertiga or innova
    (B) If a maruti 800 is provided with a PMSM motor of 10kW, would a 15kW battery pack be suitable and on similar lines if an Innova is fitted with a 30kW PMSM motor, if I plan a 43 kW battery pack, then the cost would be approximately 19.8 Lakhs for a LTO battery pack, is it justifiable, vis a visa a LFP battery of 5.6 Lakhs?
    (C) Does weight of a battery pack have a role to play, the LI pack (heaviest) in comparision to LTO (Lightest), with LFP in between ?

      A "C" rating of a cell describes the charging and discharging potential of any cell to understand better, A nominal capacity of a cell is say 3.2 V 2amp/hr at 1 C means this cell can have max discharge currant of 2amp in one hour only, but let's consider the same cell with 3.2 volts 2Ah is a 2C cell means it has discharge capacity of twice the rating of 2Ah which=4Ah, you need to multiply the C rating number with capacity and you know now what precisely is the potential of the cell.!!

      Active and passive balancing can also be called as top and bottom balancing of cell, a top balanced cell is a fully charged cell or at times in nominal range, bottom balanced cell is at its lowest voltage and then all similar cells are used to build a pack. Bottom balancing is a better method to get longitivity of packs. BMS is battery management system it basically stops battery to get over charged or discharged, controls currant in charging phase, senses load on packs and basically does all to see to it that your battery pack does not get fried Lolz

      Actually active and passive balancing also refers to BMS passive balancing BMS are great because they allow a higher capacity cell to drain excess energy in a less capacity cell and thus maintaining equilibrium

Meri jankari ye batati hai ki Divide your cars weight by 10, to app ko ek mile jane k liye kitne wat lagenge, samjho aapki nano ice engine ke sath agar 600 kg hai to 10 se Divide kiya to use 60watts ka lagat rahega ek mile chalneko to 6 kw ka pack lagta hai 100 km range ko losses pakad ke BLDC ka max performance 75-80% hai losses 20% ACIM agar use kiya to same amount losses DC to AC conversion me honge Inverter khayega battery!! Gadi me internal combustion engine ka HP aur moter ke HP me difference hai, yaha pound vs rpm Ka khel hai, vajan in pounds agar samjho 4000 pounds ya 2 ton ki gadi ko 4000 rpm Moter lagegi, kam ki lagai to gear reduction ke baad torque kam milega, bhale Electric moter 0 rpm pe 100% torque deta hai aur ek normal internal combustion engine ko kuch rpm ghumna padega tab ja ke jo bhi hai wo Lbs/feet Ka torque de dega, lolz ye Electric Vehicle ki duniya gajab hai bhai

    City two wheelers below 25 speed
    Scooters below 40 Speed
    Scooters below 60 Speed
    Motorcycles below 100 Speed
    Motorcycles above 100 Speed
    Small car's
    Sub 4 meters
    Seven Seaters
    High end vehicles
    Also keep in mind that manufacturing companies are at present giving one year warranty on two wheels extended by another two years on their manufacturing appx 25000 kms
    Car's are giving two years and extended by another 3 year's or 100000 kms only
    What will people do with long life battery if the manufacturing companies products don't last that long.
    I believe that only TATA and Toyota vehicles last that long.
    Rest all products don't withstand the basic life of 100000 kms.
    Hope my question is not unreasonable

    Hello Sir You have calculated running cost ot all these battery packs but I think you have forgotten to consider changing cost of these battery. Because we can't charge the battery free of cost. We need an external source to charge these battery packs.

    Agar aap dream car banaa rahey hain , to aapko ek aur video banana chahiye . Usme , car ki motor ka size, aur uski required power ki battery , uski weight vagera , practical range , aur practical life, ke barein mein , calculation kariye . 8 lakh km titinate se mil sakta hain, lekin koi bhi utna chalata nahi hai . Titanate battery , jitni required ho , car ke liye , uska wajan utna na ho , ki gaadi jyada duur , jl ya speed se chal na paye . Weight jyada hone ke vajay , shayad titinate , ghar mein , solar inverter ke liye jyada fayda de sakte hai.
