beautiful!! your build is doing quite well and I'm so impressed with the big tires. well done!! can't wait for more. I'd love to do a hidden winch like yours but I've got a 4.2 supercharged and the intercooler is in the way so I have to stick it out the front bumper haha
Glad the drone was ok! Maybe you said somewhere and I didn't catch it, but what happed to the Explorer? I really enjoyed those clips... as I have few Explorers myself.
Lowering your tyre pressures would have made a huge difference. I take mine dow to 18psi usually and a bit lower on really boggy sand. Much kinder to the car. In soft sand, momentum is your friend. With respect, I suspect that all the issues you had were due to lack of knowledge and experience. Other than that, always good to see other L322 owners using them for what they were built for. Your build is going well and the Fullfat (the L322 nickname in the UK, also called Fatty) looks good. I did enjoy your video, have sub'd.
Thank you so much for the kind and constructive comment! I appreciate the respectful way you pointed out my, let's say, less experienced driving skills. You’re absolutely right about the tyre pressures - next time I'll definitely be dropping them down to 18psi or even lower if the sand is really soft. Still learning, but it’s all part of the adventure. Thanks for subbing and glad you enjoyed the video.
@@shittysolutions It will become more capable and you'll be amazed. I've just watched your lift kit video and am wondering if MDB will export to Western Australia. I hope they are sponsoring you and if not hopefully soon :) Good luck with your four wheel driving adventure and I'll certainly be watching with interest. By the way I love your channel name. I can see you have a sense of humour just like my channel. Noobs stands for beginner though we are far from that lol though we never stop learning. We just don't take ourselves seriously and always love to have fun... :)
@noobsoff-road as far as I know, there are few lift kits in Australia, so it shouldn't be a problem, just shipping time can be quite long, cause of distance. Also if you're going to order lift kit, do not order anything less than 3" lift, cause it fits just perfectly! Heh thanks! Yep I'm not the most serious offroader here 😅
Rover is looking good....what tire pressures were you running in the sand? With 35" tires I would drop down to 12 or 14 psi for this type of situation.
Made lots of mistakes that day.. tire pressure was too big, always on low range and not brave enough.. 😅 But I promise to return, lower tire pressure, ditch low range and drive after prop shaft replacement!
Sorry, but I was trying to install a winch as fast as possible, hence no video 😅 It was installed similar to landroverpassion solution, just more tucked inside, and didn't need to cut the bumper, everything fit quite perfectly. Oh, used universal winch plate
So what is making that nasty ticking sound??? Transfer case or Drive Shaft?
Transfer might be
Transfer case i had same problem, chaine was worn out.
@HossBoss yep, sounds about right. But also it can be propshaft CV joints 😅
Приветствую! Какой полный размер шины? И может быть есть видео либо где почитать об установке лебедки?
Makes me miss my Range Rover L322!
Heh, everyone needs a cheap l322 that can be driven a bit harsh 😅

Thank you! td6 also has intercooler but it might be a bit smaller, winch plate is just just above intercooler cut into impact bar

Sadly I had to sell explorer it had a bit too many problems and rust issues 😅
@@shittysolutions, oh, I see now. Thanks for the update! Keep the videos coming, I really enjoy them.
@Zvoneru thank you!

Would like to see you do that again with 10 to 15 psi in your tyres….You would go a lot further 😁😁
YES!! next time will be completely different 😅
Heej do you have a video about how you placed the winch on the l322
Not at the moment, but guess I could make one showing what kind of changes were made to fit tires and winch
@shittysolutions yes that would be great and very helpful
What size wheels? 18?
Wheels are R17 J8 et35 and tires 35/13.5/r17
Is there a video on winch install coming?
Car is performing really good, need to give my Range some more offroad time

@shittysolutions No problem, it looks very good! Maybe show it quickly in some upcoming video?
