That was an awesome ride. I expected Big Foot or Tarzan to come flying out of the bushes. You don't hit many bushes in AZ because everything has needles or thorns.
That is one of my favorite roads/areas - So crazy that it was your first dualsport ride on Maggie and it went well enough (or bad enough) to keep you coming back for more!! Cheers to more rides in the future, buddy!!
@@randomlyTrees I had an older Hero Session 4 - battery died. Tried to replace it, but cooked the board... These have to be soldered in and out LOL !!!
You’re right - I put that in the tags but not the description this time. This was in Washington State. More specifically, it was in the Olympic National Forest. I’ll remember to put information like that in my descriptions in the future. Thanks for watching!
@@randomlyTrees Oh. nice. it's so beautiful there. Thanks for the response. I watched all the DR650 videos I could find for years. I got the fever, lol. So I bought one. I never thought about it, but there's no place here in Central Florida to ride it. Everything is paved. If you ride for hours far from the city you might find a short dirt road. Even if you can find a little off-road field or something, it's all sugar sand and you sink out of site and dump the bike in seconds.
I'd have to say push pig can go to the xr650, seeing how most everyone calls it that, never heard the tree frog one but that could go to the klr650 the DR650 on the other hand has earned the title the G.O.A.T.!
@@randomlyTrees Hello Andrew, I am working out my West Coast plans, the daughter's impending wedding is going to absorb every last spare dollar in 2024, but 2025 Will be California to Washington! - Frank
This is on the Olympic Peninsula in northwestern Washington State, so a bit more wet I think, but not very far away from the Okanagan area as the crow flies.
I wish we had areas like that to ride bikes in Ohio! There are a few places that allow atvs, sxs but it's not a fire road or anything just trails rode by anyone that pays to get in so it's probably chaos not solitude!
If you haven’t yet, check out @lostatlastadv for some great content in Ohio. I lived in Ohio for almost 40 years but hadn’t started riding then (other than a little dirt bike when I was a kid).
Tree frog. Hey I ride in your neck of the woods and all my wingmen have sold their Dr's so if you are ever in the need of a wingman drop me a message. Love the vids!
Heck yeah, man! My riding is probably a bit tame but I'm definitely up for some riding with another DR enthusiast. I just got back from a big road trip on it and need to do some maintenance/repair but I'll definitely message when I've got some time to get back out there.

Bigfoot may have been watching. I hear they like the DR650 too!
That land is a million times more beautiful than anything we have in Mississippi! Great footage!

A literal trip down overgrown memory lane! I have a photo somewhere of me riding through the overhanging greenery in the rain.
ANDREW !!!! - HAPPY EASTER !!!! - Love it - Thanks for posting !!!!! My gopro is toast LOL !!!!
Thank you, happy Easter to you too! What happened to your GoPro??

The DR650 is anything that you want it to be! Great platform!!!!
Absolutely! I am the limiting factor on this particular DR650 lol
Great ride bush whacking through the woods. Thanks!
ROB !!!!! HAPPY EASTER !!!!
@@pilotdane1 Happy Easter Dane! Today is also my 40th wedding anniversary.
Thank you - it’s the best kind of road (in my opinion).
@@ParallelCamper Awesome Rob !!! Congrats !!!!!
Congrats!! It was also my granddaughter’s 1st birthday!
Now that looks like fun!!!!
It’s a fun road and there’s a bunch more like it! Those little run off ditches or whatever they are are fun
I love seeing these dual sport rides. But almost none of the channels post what state they are in.

I liked your chill ride with that big thumper
Thanks! We had a great time :)

Right at the end I got a wet leaf right in the kisser!
