  • ETHANE is an acronym used by the emergency services (EMS), to provide relevant information to get the correct resources to an incident. You can help a casualty, in a wild and remote place, by having an ETHANE report ready to give to the 999 operator.
    Dial 999
Ask for Police & Mountain Rescue.

Good movie and being mentally prepared helps a lot when dealing with an incident. Steady makes the day and having a notepad and a pencil helps to sort out your thoughts before you make the call. So always bring it with you!

Great to see this basic JESIP principle being explained to the general public in a really easy to understand way. I imagine this will make things much easier for the call handlers and yourselves. Well done BMRT!
