My dealer couldn't get me pallet forks, I ordered a set of pallet forks from Messick's....in a week I had pallet forks...aside from expensive shipping, it was a very simple and quick transaction....they shipped them to my closest FedEx warehouse, I simply drove over and picked them up. the mower deck on my BX2680 is a pain in the a** to get into the TOP notch as well, I have to crawl around and manually mess with the linkage to get it to click over to the TOP position...far from impressed with this part of the deck system, it mows great, but I shouldn't have to manually mess with that stupid linkage every time I take the deck off to lock the deck lift in the TOP position.
They must have quite the warehouse for all the parts they stock. On-line parts diagrams they have aree awesome for finding what you need. That stepped cam is hard to keep properly lubed and clean. Getting that link adjustment right is a fine line between crashing the top stop and having it work right. My Deere needed chains to hold the deck up that were a pain. Thanks for watching.
It looks like the weak link built into BXs. Darn replacement parts prices for Kubotas have gone crazy lately. Messicks had the best price and delivery time for me. Thanks for watching.
Hi 👋, URHC , I hope you are both keeping safe and well, that was interesting, something too look out for when buying a second hand tracker , Great job, did the deck clear the ramp, Stay safe, Phil from the moulin France.
@@unemployedredneckhillbilly2023 Hi 👋, They have a very good name for themselves, I will be buying a ride on lawnmower hopefully, my Honda walk behind pick up a large stone this morning and the inner part of the cowling came away so I have got to try and weld it back in, Stay safe, keep up the great work, Phil from the moulin France.
They are a great source for Kubota parts. I found all the parts documentation on their site then called my Kubota dealer for availability of the numbers. They had a higher price and were a week out. Went back to Messick's site and they showed in stock with same day shipping so I ordered online. 2 days later I had them. I will definitely buy from them again. I found some accessories for the zero turn that were priced much lower then my dealers quote and will be placing an order soon. Thanks for watching.
That's a good idea. Sometimes in dirty areas like that it will also hold grit and dust that don't help. Zero wear on the pins so I wonder if this part was originally hardened properly. Thanks for watching.
The Kubota tractor or my garden tractor on steroids with 4x4 3 cylinder diesel I bought mine new in 2002 and never had a problem they are a great little machine .

Always interesting content here, thanks for this video Ed.
Thanks. This is one of those videos that won't interest many but hopefully it will give others with a similar issue some ideas. Thanks for watching.
Yep! Just watched your video and verified that this is the same issue with my tractor.

@unemployedredneckhillbilly2023 mine lasted 13 years so I guess I should not complain
If they had added 3 cents worth of steel to that high stress area it would have lasted 50 years. Mine only lasted about 8.

It clears the deck fine now. This Kubota has been an awesome problem free machine that's great for a midsize property. Thanks for watching.

Some grease on moving parts might have helped.

Not on this onr

This one has just needed this and a mower deck seal in over 800 hours. Tough little machines. Thanks for watching.
How many hrs did you have when that peace broke
Around 800. It could have been made a bit stronger because it seems to be a common issue. Thanks for watching.
Do you have the part number?
I do not. Messicks has all the parts diagrams online and was lower cost, even with shipping and faster delivery then my dealer. Thanks for watching.
