Davos is one of my top 3 favorite characters. He's just such a boss. He has had a sketchy past, making him flawed, but he's still one of the best people in Westeros. He's the guy who always tells people what is what. He's a great diplomat tbh, and a very kind person overall. I really hope he makes it.

Yes! He has flaws and you can actually see his human traits like honesty, love, being scared yet brave. He seems like an actual guy you would see in real life like a dad or a close teacher, someone you look up to. And unlike a lot of "characters" on the show. He actually has personality!
Liam Cunningham is so good. I remember watching Hunger and he was only in it for a short while as a priest but that short while has stayed with me more than any part of that already exceptional film. And the confrontation scene with the wooden stag and Red Woman . . . My God.
By far, my favourite Character of all of them great story, great character Arc and he's like the only one that actually made a tear in my eye, when he said; "I loved that girl like she was my own, she was good, she was kind and you murdered her!" you can feel Davos's anger and sadness, he was a true father.
Davos is one of the few purely good & selfless characters in GofTs. He was more of a father to Shireen than Stannis ever was, he was essentially Alfred to Jon's Batman, he was never interested in things like wealth & power but only wanted to provide a better life for his son, despite repeatedly stating how bad a fighter he was he never hesitates to draw his sword when he has to and he always put the well-being of others ahead of his own & ahead of any orders given as seen when he chose to defy Stannis in order to save Gendry. How can you not love the guy!!! I swear Liam Cunningham should've been nominated for an Emmy or Golden Globe for his portrayal as Davos. I've long been a big fan of his work long before GofTs, just such a phenomenally talented actor👍😃👍
Imagine cutting off the fingers of a man who saved your live by smuggling onions to you and your men in the middle of siege. Stanis was a psycho since day one.
