Ser Davos is one of a handful of men in Westeros who is truly good. He's not ashamed to admit his mistakes, he doesn't consider himself an "honourable man"-- a pretentious title imo. He sees the grey areas in people and situations, unlike others who see black and white, good or bad. I love him.
CharlizeQ *Sees Cersei* Cersei's here! Bring your swords and spears, peoples! Slay her guards! But leave her to me, for the night is dark and full of terror!
I like the fact that he kept the tips of his fingers in a little bag and that was hung around his neck for luck. Ser Davos saw himself for who he was, and he never lied about it to anybody, not even to himself. When I saw his pain, I wanted to cry myself. Great character, great actor!
Davos is my favorite character in thrones! He has a lot of Ned Stark in him and honestly I feel like he's one of the very few characters who always follows his morals, no matter the situation he always tries to do the right thing.
sanna I think he is the best because he doesn't always follow his morals. He's not like Jon Snow. He stayed with Stannis after the shadow baby, the burnings etc. Because loyalty can go beyond morality sometimes. And when he was younger, living in poverty, he became a good thief. Sometimes survival goes beyond morality. He's a thoroughly good man but he is also practical and not naive. Jon is lucky to have him around.
If I were to decide who may reign the seven kingdoms it would definitely come down to Davos Seaworth. That guy is pure gold, wise and he has a good heart, probably the best of all of them.
He's my favorite character on the show, very honorable and loyal, this is even displayed in his loyalty to the old religions against The Red Woman. He's good and true but for him this isn't a weakness
Of all the story lines, of all the scenes, of all the characters ... my soul, my heart and intellect desires the soul of Ser Davos and all he is and has done. He is "of like spirit" and I have stood beside those who thought themselves "great leaders" and still fought for truth. This character is portrayed by Liam Cunningham has stolen my heart ~ completely. Liam, if I could just once, stand face to face with you and speak of my admiration of you and your skill, in art-with heart- that would be my one wish. To anyone that is not me that may not make sense but I have stood for innocence, and your craft must be well honed to do so in life or the arts. Liam's capacity to evoke and emit such passion and conviction is awe inspiring. Thank you to GoT for bringing this artist - this man to my life. PM
Ser Davos is easily one of thee best characters in the entire GoT, if not thee best. That man's scenes have successfully made me, a grown man, cry twice and not just random tears, but truly kicked in the balls and the guts tears, truly the Onion Knight.
Davos is even more honourable on the book. He felt bad for leaving his wife on Rainwood (their castle), also for the death of his children on Blackwater Bay. His speech on Manderly court was very good ("vengeance!"). His "death" was heartbreaking for me, more so than Red Wedding. But all in all, he did not do so bad. My only favourite character on ASOIAF, as Noye and Maester Aemon are dead. Thank you sir Liam Cunningham for a wonderful performance.
Davos reminds me of that indescribably awesome grandfather or great uncle we all have that sets the example of what an honorable man from an era long gone should be. I really hope he lives through this series and I hope he personally cuts Melisandre's guts open for killing Shireen.
WhitePony1990 The Red Woman is, much like stannis, broken by her own acts. She never enjoyed having stannis burn peoples and his own girl, she just obeyed blindly the orders transmitted from the Master of Light through fire, and convinced stannis to obey those orders. Both if them were played by the Master of Light. I don't want her to die because unlike a lot of antagonist, she's not cruel nor selfish, just heavily misguided. Same for stannis but he's already dead so its too late for him
Allegedly the four most loved GoT characters will be in one alliance in season 7: Jon Snow, Davos Seaworth, Tyrion Lannister and Danaerys, it's looking to be a great season!
Funny enough, I thought I'd hate Davos when I started to read the second book. He was another narrator, and not one with a lot of strong personality. But damn, I was genuinely worried when the book implied his death, and relieved when he was alive in book three.
Davos is the true prince that was promised. He may not have the Targaryen nor Stark blood but he has the courage, honor and dignity many so called nobles lack. As he said about Jon, men believe in him and he is always ready to do what is correct even if that means he must give his life . His high morals, his true honor and his loyalty shall bring light back to the world. Save my comment. Davos will save the world.
Although a small part I thought the Onion might rule the seven kingdoms. In the books he's more fleshed out and there was something about him. I'm prob definitely wrong but we will see..
Why make a video about the impact of a characters words and then drown them all out with some big swelling operatic number so you can barely hear them?
He turned out to be one of the best characters on the whole show especially in the last seasons when everyone was starting to go down in mediocrity he got stronger and had better speeches than even Tyrian
Jon, Davos, Gendry, Podrick, Stannis, Sandor, Thoros, Sam, Ed, Jaime(when not influenced by his trash family) Tyrion, Varys, Commander Mormont, Lyanna Mormont, Aemon, and of course Eddard. Even though many have a flawed personality but in my opinion, in their world they are the most honest, honorable(they all kill but it's either under direct orders like the hound or Stannis for his claim etc) and the ones who do not seek power because they know power corrupts the best and attracts the worst. How they graped every damn character in the show is still baffling after all these years. but the ONLY ONE who only served the realm first by trying to save Ed and then warning everyone about Dany. The real Varys would have sent all the letters he burnt before knowing he was going to die in an hour. "You wish to know where my true loyalties lie? Not with any king or queen, but with the people. The people who suffer under despots and prosper under just rule, the people whose hearts you aim to win." and I believe him 100%. and further more all the knights are traitors and backstabbers, the one who says i'm not a knight is the only who is the best knight in Westeros; Sandor. The way Arya tells him why are you here since when have you fought for anyone but yourself when this entitled clown has made it to where she are because of Sandor. Brienne took her and the worst plot happened with the faceless assassins. we didn't even see more than 5mins of actual training and suddenly she's jason bourne. Brienne failed where Sandor saved her and opened her eyes to the terrible truths about their world. Davos did it for his son. And a couple of sentences that always stood out is how Oberyn calls him Lord and Varys answers i am not a lord you have no obligation to call me that, and oberyn like a boss tells him : yet everyone does. and the expression of Varys afterwards...GoT shifts all these titles to prove that knights are the baddies and the ones living by are the good guys
When Davos screams at Melisandre about Shireen. His anger made me feel his pain. It was great acting.
Niko S it was from the heart
Niko S I was crying 😢😢😢💔💔💔💔
He's Just awesome in so many ways
It wasn't acting, it was the grief.
It hurt to watch that but in the best ways possible

sanna great insight. He does remind me of Ned. He is more good than anything.
@@mercyrn35absolutely what he may lack in fighting skills as he said is more than made up for by his huge heart 🇦🇺
he is the most underated actor of got :(
TheGmt717 thank you

Clegane seems like a big *underdog* in GoT as well.
Yes in your opinion he should have claim for the iron throne
Amazing! Davos is by far the coolest guy in Game Of Thrones.
ShuffleTheMoose thank you
I wish him and dolorous Edd had shared a conversation
Love Davos. Honourable in both the TV series and the books
Daryl Douglas thank you
If I were to decide who may reign the seven kingdoms it would definitely come down to Davos Seaworth. That guy is pure gold, wise and he has a good heart, probably the best of all of them.
He's the voice of all the common folk in Westeros, a greater moral compass than Ned.
good point
A truly decent and honorable man. A real unsung hero.
This guys as loyal as a German Sheppard.
Road 35 thank you
Road 35 the best thing is that his loyalty is not "blind": he does the right thing at the good moment. That's why I admire him.
Him and dolorous Edd
He's my favorite character on the show, very honorable and loyal, this is even displayed in his loyalty to the old religions against The Red Woman. He's good and true but for him this isn't a weakness
Hybrid Driver and Wholefoods Shopper thank you

the only man in game of thrones that i could not watch the show without
If Ser Davos were a virtue he would be honour.
Quetzalcoatl thank you
Nah that's Ned. Davos would be compassion
Davos reminds me of that indescribably awesome grandfather or great uncle we all have that sets the example of what an honorable man from an era long gone should be. I really hope he lives through this series and I hope he personally cuts Melisandre's guts open for killing Shireen.

If only...
Ser Davos, the voice of reason in Game of Thrones.
No interest in ruling the 7 kingdoms, but he'd be the wisest and fairest king in a 1000 years.
finally an amazing Davos tribute
Halfway through season 8 the onion knight still my G.O.A.T.
Shireen is the one reason I can't rewatch the show. Her final scenes are too heartbreaking.
I agree. That pissed me off so much.
that was really well made. thanks RTP. very moving.
Thank you!
One of the all good man in this chaotic story
Allegedly the four most loved GoT characters will be in one alliance in season 7: Jon Snow, Davos Seaworth, Tyrion Lannister and Danaerys, it's looking to be a great season!
One can never leave out Ser Jorah.
Don't forget Lyanna Mormont.
Don't forget Clegane.
Don't forget podrick
Don't forget the whores
My favorite character.
Very good Character and Wingman ... Also kinda nice to have a smuggler with you when you need one 🌚

I thought this was The Garo Studios, bloody hell mate, this is amazing.
He is one of the few characters who is a good person and who survived long enough to make an impression.
Onion knights are most often one of the most honorable and kindest men in cruel and brutal worlds and that is something i am happy about
Favorite GoT character, hands down.
Sir Davos a truer knight have not been born
I love you Davos so much ❤❤❤❤
Davos Seaworth deserves the world and the world doesn't deserve Davos Seaworth
I like Davos, Varys, Tyrion, The hound and Jorah=Rip best.
I hope in season 8 ser Davos will become hand of the king
In today's world,
A man will definitely become a billionaire if he has a CEO like Sir Devos
You noticed that every one who wasn't a knight acted like a knight and the real knight acted like commonal
Davos being a dad for 4 minutes!
Sir Davos for the throne!!
What the writers did to Stannis is a fucking crime
My top 5 favourite characters... More Davos... At least I am glad he lived.
I would follow Davos Seaworth to the end of the world!
Although a small part I thought the Onion might rule the seven kingdoms. In the books he's more fleshed out and there was something about him. I'm prob definitely wrong but we will see..

Why an onion? Because he smuggled onions 😂 he's a humble man
What's the song that's playing?
The Final Hour - Danail Getz
Out of all the men in Westeros, Davos is the one I would want to be my father.
"Kaynigget" xDDD
and What is the actual Word he intends to pronounce?
Ser Davos seaworth❤️
Davos and Ned would've been great friends if they met
Where is his speech that convinced Lyanna to stand beside Jon to reclaim Winterfell?
ohvyeah that scene was awesome
