Perry Groves fought tooth and nail against the best defenders in the league. But the one tackle he couldn't break free from was the one he poured himself every night. This is the awful story of Perry Groves; the man who lost his career to alcohol.
When you think about the legends of Arsenal Football Club, names like Thierry Henry and Tony Adams often come to your mind. But only the true fans know that Perry Groves holds a special place in the club's history.
Born on April 19, 1965, in Bow, East London, Groves' early life was steeped in the culture of football, a passion that was deeply embedded in his family.
From a very young age, Perry was deeply influenced by his grandfather, Jack Groves, who had a successful career playing for Arsenal during the 1930s. This family connection to Arsenal gave him a strong liking for the club and a serious wish to one day wear the famous red and white jersey himself. Growing up, Perry spent many hours playing football with his friends and improving his skills, often dreaming of scoring goals at Highbury, Arsenal's historic stadium.

I'd suggest a video about Don Revie or Harry Catterick

Fancy that! You don't recommend this as an excellent viewing and suggest Harry Catterick as a good watch instead 😅😉 👍 😀
