Spot on. He was one of the world's best in his time. Probably one of the best headers of ball ever. One of my boyhood heroes along with slim Jim Baxter and Jinky
i was just going to txt, how was it a wasted carear when i saw your response, why do these people make videos of true football legends, as an Everton fan it was a case of what a great player, with a wonderful sense of humour... if thats sad then i am a KOPITE.
“Wasted career” ? Whoever thought that title up ? The man was brilliant and in his day one of the very best ! And I say that as a Wolves fan - sure wish he had played for us !
Although not a Man Utd fan, I am one of those who supports their local unsuccessful team, but Denis was my football idol in the early 1960s. Still one of my all time favourite players.
As a very young boy i saw Denis play for Huddersfield v Newcastle United at St James Park,i then met him again on the after diner circuit when he hosted s table for the company i worked for. He was a gentleman and great company. Thank you Sir.
I am in my eighty’s and have been a Liverpool all my life but he the one player in all the years that I would have sold Anfield to buy, what a player always on the go. Impossible to mark and as you rightly pointed out small but could out jump any centre half and could somehow seem to hang up there, oh and brave. May God bless you Denis and thanks for the lovely memories.
Hope he actually got the ‘right money’ out of his move to Italy & then to Man U. Showing us his character, it’s perhaps believable that he got what they told him. One of the few examples where, had there been these shitty ‘agents’ around then, no doubt they would have got him good money (and obviously for them)

I used to be involved with outside broadcasts and met Denis one day as he was a radio commentator. What a lovely lovely guy, so sorry to hear he's struggling a bit now but he is a fighter.
I'm a BWFC fan born in 1964 ,and Dennis Law is and was a true legend played the game in a true spirit manchester United should be proud and city he was still playing just in 74 when I was ten he was awesome then . And way before your Beckham, giggs, although both class he Dennis was the law there weren't many that could keep george best calm he could true gent true legend long live THE LAW
The lawman a Scottish gentleman I’ll never forget his face when he back-heeled the ball into the net against United that to me told you all you needed to know about Denis.Magnificent footballer.
For so long as the hearts of all he fans who watch him play sill beat, the legend that was Dennis Law will shine on through the ages. God bless and thank you Dennis for helping make football the greatest game in the world.
My hero, wore my sleeves down, wore no10 and bought Mitre boots cos Denis did Met him once,a warm lovely genuine man,was interested in who l was. Thanks Denis
I remember he scored the first time I watched Utd. The crowd was singing his name and I got jealous 😢 My sister put a number 10 on the back of my Utd shirt and I asked the headmaster if I could wear that shirt instead of the shitty school team kit. I scored in my first game for the school and ran round the pitch with my cuffs down ala the king. He had 2 good feet, like a salmon in the air and his famous bicycle kick....what a legend.
Denis law was fantastic football player with man u in the 60s 70s its terrible what's happened to him but we all get old live isn't easy when you start getting on god bless him
Born in Aberdeen, I lived in the same street as Denis's brother. Denis had cartilage surgery and came to Aberdeen for a visit. Me and my mates saw a red Jaguar pull up and knew who would be driving. We ran over and leaned on the fence as The King got out. Although recuperating from the surgery, he still took the time for a kick about. A real Legend. PS I was in the Stretford End when Denis back healed the ball into the net for City. He was devastated .
I was lucky enough to meet Dennis at old Trafford when he was fronting a exhibition, i was so lucky because he cam into the tea room where i & my customers were before his address i had a book “ play football the Dennis way” & asked him to sign this & a some other programmes such as utd V Leicester where he scored against Gordon Banks & when he played against England after they won the world cup he was just the best spent 20 minutes with me just a wonderful man thank you Dennis from all my heart & good luck with your illness from all us fans! 🥰
Met him at Hampden as a boy, he kept his word to me and after doing an interview on 'On the Ball' he returned to give me his autograph, which I still have on my Scotland v England program. A man of integrity who made a great impact on a young lad.
Denis, what a bloke, first saw Denis play at the city ground (forest) can't remember the exact year but I was not yet a teenager, it was his last game before a six week suspension not sure but I think he had a. Fall out with Ian Ure of arsenal, the crowd were chanting Denis Law is on the dole..! I'm 72 soon so it must have been 1962/3, Law Best and Charlton. Denis the king, my intro to football.
I saw Denis play for United at Craven Cottage, and Georgie Best for NI at the old Wembley. Difficult to say who was my favourite but if pushed I would say Denis Law. It was fantastic to have seen both of them at their very best.
Who idea was this crap? Denis will always be the king of old Trafford, he played for the rest of the world team. His brave fight with dementia and vascular dementia, is a tragedy . King Denis is and will always be my football hero, I’ve supported Manchester United since 1963. Denis Law scored 6 goal for Man City in the FA cup the match was abandoned in the second half, in the replay City lost and Denis 6 goal were taken off him, if the match would have not been abandoned Denis Law would have been the top FA cup goalscorer of all time. Not bad for a skinny little lad from Aberdeen. Keep fighting Denis, you’re not alone.
Mr.Dennis Law and Mr Bobby Charlton. Both ended with a similar problem and they where two of my football hero,s. God Bless them may life not be too difficult for you Dennis and RIP Bobby.❤❤❤😂😊😊😊
I saw Best, Law and Charlton several times, some against Hurst, Moore and Peters. Those 3 were the best there were in those positions. Denis - the original 'Fox in the Box'. Likle the overhead kick v Palace.
I think he had a good life he is a human being unfortunately like all of us we will rot away and die but at least he is positive in other peoples minds so he will live on
Denis Law scored 6 goals while I believe at Huddersfield in an FA cup tie which was never finished due to weather problems. They then lost the tie when it was replayed,a travesty to this day.
My first football kit I received on my tenth birthday was a Man Utd kit, came in a cardboard box with Dennis Law on the front, that would be 1964. And I live in Leicester.
Maybe it's because I'm from Manchester that I love United so.Maybe it's because I'm from Manchester that I follow them where ever they go.I get a funny feeling inside of me when I see George Best score.Maybe it's because I'm from Manchester where the King is DENIS LAW.
A great player but not so great as well,he was my hero as a kid saw him play at Plymouth for Huddersfield he was brilliant asked him for his autograph he said F off you little bar steward never forgot it now 78 and it still hurts 😢
Your title is an absolute joke. Law is/was the King and many clubs would have snapped up this outrageously gifted career. What a dreadful title you need to smarten your act up. Is/was a complete legend for Scotland and Man Utd.
A wasted career? It's very possible that the toxic fool who gave this title is a frustrated, jealous nobody who has had a ftustrating life as a nobody. So sad.
Wasted career? He had a brilliant career! One of the greatest.
Spot on.

“Wasted career” ? Whoever thought that title up ? The man was brilliant and in his day one of the very best ! And I say that as a Wolves fan - sure wish he had played for us !
As a lifelong Aberdeen FC fan, I wished he had played for us

Greatest ever.....still
A traversty denis law is still the king one of the all time greats
Although not a Man Utd fan, I am one of those who supports their local unsuccessful team, but Denis was my football idol in the early 1960s. Still one of my all time favourite players.
Never to be forgotten….what a player and a gentleman
Good luck to you Denis one is the best Scottish footballer. Why don’t we have more players like him today?
As a very young boy i saw Denis play for Huddersfield v Newcastle United at St James Park,i then met him again on the after diner circuit when he hosted s table for the company i worked for.

Great comment buddy😂
Surely Man U are financially’stepping in’ ??!!
Liverpool couldn’t afford him??!!
Hope he actually got the ‘right money’ out of his move to Italy & then to Man U.
Showing us his character, it’s perhaps believable that he got what they told him.

Still the only Scottish player to win the European player of the year
I used to be involved with outside broadcasts and met Denis one day as he was a radio commentator. What a lovely lovely guy, so sorry to hear he's struggling a bit now but he is a fighter.
An absolute legend and the greatest Aberdonian! A great shame he never played for Aberdeen but he has never forgotten his roots!
When I was around five living in Kings Crescent in Aberdeen Dennis first footed my granny, I don’t remember the connection but he was there😀

I was a13 year old United fan at that game. You should have seen my face.
For so long as the hearts of all he fans who watch him play sill beat, the legend that was Dennis Law will shine on through the ages. God bless and thank you Dennis for helping make football the greatest game in the world.
What a player along with Jimmy Greaves they were my heroes when I was a young lad two fantastic goalscorers, the best for me and I'm 65 now, Legends !

I saw him play for man u many times in the 60s. He had such fun playing with Best and Charlton and played with passion.
My hero, wore my sleeves down, wore no10 and bought Mitre boots cos Denis did Met him once,a warm lovely genuine man,was interested in who l was. Thanks Denis

A great player. Humble man. Similar to Sir Bobby.
I saw him play at Middlesbrough stadium Ayresome Park, many years ago.
The man was like Quicksilver - in a league of his own !
How dare you sink so low with appalling headlines for such a great man and supreme footballer.

The one and only King 🤴

*The Lawman.*

he always reminds me of Rod Stewart, he just needs the ''Mic'' & he'd be the man. Wake up Maggie!
A great player and great career.
What were the scouts from Aberdeen doing in the 1950's???
I think he had a good life he is a human being unfortunately like all of us we will rot away and die but at least he is positive in other peoples minds so he will live on
As a Liverpool fan all I can say is Total Respect.
Lawman ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Have some respect ffs "wasted"??? One of the very best ever, and I'm no fan of any of the teams he played for
A good man
Who writes this great player and career
Stupid title to describe a legend...a lot of over 80's have medical problems.
The King
Denis Law scored 6 goals while I believe at Huddersfield in an FA cup tie which was never finished due to weather problems. They then lost the tie when it was replayed,a travesty to this day.

UTD Legend🇾🇪
I think this channel uses AI. I saw one about Bryan Robson recently and half way through it showed photos of Bobby Robson. Scandalous
That artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity.😊
Agreed
Same class as best
Ime sure he played for Man U at one time
A great player but not so great as well,he was my hero as a kid saw him play at Plymouth for Huddersfield he was brilliant asked him for his autograph he said F off you little bar steward never forgot it now 78 and it still hurts 😢

Law best Charlton names that trip off the tongue 👅
Provocative title equals curious eyeballs . Good advertising/marketing although misleading spin.
Change that ridiculous title the noo! Delete 'wasted' insert 'legendary'.
A wasted career? It's very possible that the toxic fool who gave this title is a frustrated, jealous nobody who has had a ftustrating life as a nobody. So sad.
So much clickbait shite
Wasted career….jeez, fools everywhere
Wasted career!!!What a stupid thing to say, you obviously know nothing about football.😡😡😡
Click bait shite
Outstanding player. Legend.
Is it his fault no, was he a legend yes we'll keep at it like that son.
Why are we seeing Ray Parlour of Arsenal, a much later generation of player, @ 6:22?
