While it's not one of my favorite bands, it's ubiquitously evocative of my childhood, I was very into radio and jukeboxes when I was a kid. Playlists of this era definitely need ARS.
I’m sorry, but there’s only one Atlanta Rhythm Section, with Ronnie Hammond(singer) Paul Goddard(bass) Robert Nix(drums) J.R. Cobb(guitar)and The great Dean Daughtry(keyboards ) as well as master guitar player the one and only Barry Bailey! They were the group that had all the hits and great albums released from1972-1982 They were the best❤️🎸😎👍
I use to love when this song, with its easy groove, would come on over the speakers as I pulled over-nighters alone, cleaning floors for retail stores--
How great their vibe is such good guys good ole days. I was fortunate to have opened up for ARS years ago they have so many hits great personalities underrated band..
Dear Atlanta Rhythm Section, Love your music. I worked for you as a follow spot operator as a student at Mansfield State College,Mansfield, Pennsylvania. Thank you.
Summer of 1976. The bicentennial. Late at night cruising with your girl with nothing but the dashboard lights and this song on the radio. No substitute.
This is by far the best era. I personally as a adolescent hearing ARS found their music smooth but kinda haunting in a cool Sense but songs like Imaginary lover and Spooky are great the smooth vocals, lead guitar and keyboard the best 😅!!!
what a great band brings back some great memories of these guys' music Bravo back when raw talent was required today all they need is a marketable face and technology does the rest
I like the fact that they're paying homage to the original but have their own thing too. Especially the lead guitar's solo. Has that Barry thing, yet show his own style, which is great melodic playing.
This is *great*. I used to listen to ARS 'til I was blue in the face, back in the day. This incarnation has the feel of the original, but isn't trying to carbon-copy them. Great stuff.
70s radio, riding in the back of mom and dad's gold Pontiac LeMans, driving to the Jersey Shore (not those TV degenerates) Seaside Heights boardwalk, but ours was Mono on AM radio. Coming over the crest of the bridge, seeing the multicolored glow of the horizon, especially being able to pick out the Ferris wheel.
So into You When you walked into the room There was voodoo in the vibes I was captured by your style But I could not catch your eyes Now I stand here helplessly Hoping you'll get into me … I am so into you I can't think of nothing else I am so into you I can't think of nothing else … Thinking how it's going to be Whenever I get you next to me It's gonna be good, don't you know From your head to your toe Gonna love you all over, over and over Me into you, you into me, me into you … I am so into you … I am so into you, ooh … When you walked into the room There was voodoo in the vibes I was captured by your style But I could not catch your eyes Now I stand here helplessly Hoping you'll get into me … I am so into you I can't get to nothing else I am so into you baby I can't get to nothing else No, no, no, come on baby … I am so into you Love the things you do Listen baby Driving me crazy, ooh … Come on baby, oo-ooh I am so into you Love the things you do Come on baby I am so into you … I am so into you, yeah … I am so into you
@@larbuenoHi, I remember recording it off the radio I think it was WNW New York station and it was on a cassette it was either late 70s or mid 80s to this day I still haven’t heard that version I’m referring to if you think you have it how can I get it ?
This song is the Poco-est song the Eagles ever did. The layered instruments coming in our out through the whole song, varying the music. Probably won't make anybody's top 10, but i enjoyed it. Eagles songs.
Who's with me listening to this music in 2023.
Me. Atlanta Rhythm Section still sounding good today.
While it's not one of my favorite bands, it's ubiquitously evocative of my childhood, I was very into radio and jukeboxes when I was a kid. Playlists of this era definitely need ARS.
Me 👌
ARS was/is an iconic band. Love this song.
I’m here listening to some excellent Southern music. I love the vibe….all the way❣️ Cheers to you 😁
Listening in 2024!!!!!
Music like this is timeless ❤
Same here!
Loved these guys since the 1970's. Great music.
Atlanta rhythm section should be in the hall of fame 🙌 🐝 😌 🙌 👌
Yes, they should. Too bad none of the six members in the classic lineup will make it, if ever, because they all died between 2011 and 2023.
😢@@ClassicTVMan1981X
Fantastic song. One of the most underrated bands ever.
I sing this in my office.. dance around my desk.. and suddenly even the staff sings it.. I cherish this.. thank you so much for such talent..

I don't even listen to the radio anymore since 1999 I'm now my own DJ
Where I live we have a great "classics" radio station. Look for one in your area!
I’m sorry, but there’s only one Atlanta Rhythm Section, with Ronnie Hammond(singer) Paul Goddard(bass) Robert Nix(drums) J.R. I may be way off base but I believe the return of good music is right around the corner
I use to love when this song, with its easy groove, would come on over the speakers as I pulled over-nighters alone, cleaning floors for retail stores--
Wow what a classic, we don't go looking for old music, we look for the memories they carry with us , songs like this have no expiry date 🎸🎸
Thank you.
Guitarist is KILLING!😋
Summer of 1976. The bicentennial. Late at night cruising with your girl with nothing but the dashboard lights and this song on the radio. No substitute.
Boy is that a memory!
One of the best grooves ever written. Next on my list to learn how to play on guitar.
One of the best southern rock band 👍 rock on 🎸🎸🎸
Southern Rock Band who Kicks Ass at Blues!
Just too cool. One of the best bands playing great music.
Many thanks!
So into you is an under statement! songs like this is what keeps us for the most part connected... plus the rift was out of this world.😮
This Aussie is lovin it matey.❤
This is by far the best era. I personally as a adolescent hearing ARS found their music smooth but kinda haunting in a cool Sense but songs like Imaginary lover and Spooky are great the smooth vocals, lead guitar and keyboard the best 😅!!!
What a great version 👏
One of the best!!!bands of our lifetime......this lifetime!!!!
Seen them in Wilmington NC long ago . Molly Hatchet opened for them. LOVED them both, Fantastic!

June 2023 and this is still on my play list.
Thank you
Accident of sorts-its been awhile

what a great band brings back some great memories of these guys' music Bravo back when raw talent was required today all they need is a marketable face and technology does the rest
You summed it up perfectly, pretty face+ production fluff
This version rocks it out if the park. Very good
Everytime I heard this song, it was the best!!!
You can't name a bad tune these guys ever did! So professional and talented!
I like the fact that they're paying homage to the original but have their own thing too. Especially the lead guitar's solo. Has that Barry thing, yet show his own style, which is great melodic playing.
Steve Stone played with Barry Bailey. He has been in the band only second to the keyboard player. Dean Daughtry. Who Co wrote this song.
This Is as close to the original that I can't find a complaint..yes I can nit pik....but I won't..awsome tune then n now...
I agree with your assessment of this version
Rodney Justo is lead singer again. He was them before Ronnie Hammond. This video was taken before he rejoined the group in 2011.
Magnificently spectacular!!!
One of my favorite songs...
RIP Ronnie ur so missed
Absolutely RIGHT !!!
R.I.P. Ronnie. 😔❤️❤️😇
He was so handsome and a great lead singer!
Damn this is some good stuff...
I absolutely love ARS! Lost count of how many times I’ve seen them in Atlanta, at all the music festivals. Champagne Jam was just one of them.
This is *great*. I used to listen to ARS 'til I was blue in the face, back in the day. This incarnation has the feel of the original, but isn't trying to carbon-copy them. Great stuff.
I remember way back when in Florida father owned a nightclub I’d play this song on our Jukebox every night!
On stage persona is important and this singers got along with STEVE STONE ON GUITAR SOUNDS GREAT TOGETHER
Nothing like these old songs ❤ never make ‘em that way again !
Sorry that I missed you guys tonight.❤️
This song is an instant classic 👏 ✨ 🔥 💯 🎵 👌 🙌
Blast from the Past No Doubt
70s radio, riding in the back of mom and dad's gold Pontiac LeMans, driving to the Jersey Shore (not those TV degenerates) Seaside Heights boardwalk, but ours was Mono on AM radio. I just love this music....... ,!!!
Lead guitar player has some SERIOUS chops!
Listening in almost 2025
Me too! ❤
Notice that they clapped on your own. The band doesn’t have to ask them to clap. They just do it. Excellent music-that’s why.
Blast from the Past, good to hear.
Listening in 24 almost 25 great memories here
Beautiful music baby but there's nothing like the original Band 05-10-23
Grandísima banda de rock-sureño esta canción es una obra de arte a la altura de las brillantes canciones de Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Steve Stone is the best guitar player on Planet Earth!!
SOUNDS GREAT!!
Such an AMAZING 😍💥💯 SONG🎸🎶🎶🎶❤️
12-31-23🎧 Underated Barry Bailey was of the Best Guitar Player👍
I love it 🎉
This is an awesome song on adoring someone ❤
So into You
When you walked into the room
There was voodoo in the vibes
I was captured by your style
But I could not catch your eyes
Now I stand here helplessly
Hoping you'll get into me
… I am so into you
I can't think of nothing else
I am so into you
I can't think of nothing else
… Thinking how it's going to be
Whenever I get you next to me
It's gonna be good, don't you know
From your head to your toe
Gonna love you all over, over and over
Me into you, you into me, me into you
… I am so into you
… I am so into you, ooh
… When you walked into the room
There was voodoo in the vibes
I was captured by your style
But I could not catch your eyes
Now I stand here helplessly
Hoping you'll get into me
… I am so into you
I can't get to nothing else
I am so into you baby
I can't get to nothing else
No, no, no, come on baby
… I am so into you
Love the things you do
Listen baby
Driving me crazy, ooh
… Come on baby, oo-ooh
I am so into you
Love the things you do
Come on baby
I am so into you
… I am so into you, yeah
… I am so into you
They opened up for Blackfoot then Molly Hatchett. ARS blew them away. They should have been the headliner.
Yep !!! Back in the day ARS blew BTO out of the stadium. Not was 45 minutes late and ARS Stepped up !!!!
Wow, would have loved to have been there too!
4:07 reminds me of my unassuming hippy uncle that can shred anyone playing the guitar, but rather stay in the background.
I remember hearing a live version of this back in the 80s that blew me away the lead guitar was unbelievable !
It was the ARS live album, and it is one of the most beautiful guitar solos ever played. Barry Bailey just killed it.
@@larbuenoHi, I remember recording it off the radio I think it was WNW New York station and it was on a cassette it was either late 70s or mid 80s to this day I still haven’t heard that version I’m referring to if you think you have it how can I get it ?
These songs are over on the radio. What a shame
Such a fine song since it came out
🎉HERE !
This song is the Poco-est song the Eagles ever did. The layered instruments coming in our out through the whole song, varying the music. Probably won't make anybody's top 10, but i enjoyed it. Eagles songs.
Such a good song
They sound great, but I miss Ronnie... Loved his voice. Still think the '75 version of ANGEL, played in some dive bar, is in my top 10...
Mind blown.
Awesome stuff
Just like a fine wine
These songs hear forgotten that's why that don't play them on radio people need to request more of them
I am, this is funky fantastic 😃
Wonderful
Lindo tema de ARS, estoy tan interesado en ti (So InTo You) que tiempos aquellos ❤👏👏
Love this song and this band! ❤
Barry Bailey would be proud
Very sweet solo one of my favorite bands
