  • How can you tell if your child has speech delay? Why is my child not talking? Does my child need speech therapy? Sometimes all you need is a "speech boost" in the right direction!
While kids do develop at different rates, sometimes parents don't realize that there is something in their environment that is not helping their kiddos talk. Moms and dads, we are all doing our very best to help our kids learn, grow, and develop! Sometimes all it takes is a point in the right direction to take your child from where they are right now to talking about everything they see! This video highlights some common reasons kids aren't yet talking or have not yet said their first few words.
Has your child's hearing been tested? Have they had multiple ear infections?
Do you find that you can almost read your child's mind and you know when they are hungry, tired, or what they want? Sometimes kids aren't exposed to a lot of language or don't have a chance to practice their language skills. These are all reasons why your little one may not be talking - and all relatively easy to fix!
