- What is the purpose of mankind, according to the Bible? If it's to glorify God, how do we glorify God with our lives? In this video, we answer that question from a Biblical perspective.

@larysnw418 that is what an organization designed by men called WatchTower have decided. Fortunately, many put their trust in the Bible and not in men that have no authority over other men. For that we Praise Jesus who is God and Redeemer.

The meaning of Life is clearly given in (Ecclesiastes 12: 13), Fear God, and obey His Commandments, this IS the WHOLE duty of man…

Glorifying Him means following His Great commandment: to love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love others as you love yourself.
The purpose of man is to worship the Lord and if a person isn't doing that, they will never find contentment in life 🙂🙏

The remedy for sin in the Christian’s life is found in 1 John 1:9. “If we confess our sin, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sin and cleanse us from unrighteousness.” Keep close accounts thru confession and grieve not the Holy Spirit.
To be an image of God (which is glorifying God) is the purpose of life. How do we be an image/glorify him? By accepting Jesus as our gracious saviour, loving God and our neighbours and finally by attempting to mirror Gods characteristics described in exodus 34 6
Happily married 23 years, came here to be a better husband through God. This man preaches about honoring and respecting your wife, so I looked up his bio- he never talks about his marriage, his wife, and divorce- I had to find it through a Reddit forum. He’s a hypocrite, with a failed marriage, and choses to remain single. He is in no position to give us lessons on marriage.

You may well ask what is the meaning of life?
Is the answer not found in Genesis?

So we are ALL a work in progress until....

...so we ALL get there.......eventually.
Just a (theological) thought
The purpose of man is NOT to "enjoy Him" as some Reformed catechisms state. It's not about us. It's all about Him.
At least the images are Israelite and dark of skin color like they truly were
We humans are part of nature, we're animals "primates". I think our purpose is to take care of the Earth, just as Adam was commanded to "till the field" and care for Eden. As for meaning, you make it what you want it.
Not according to what gotquestions has just said. We’re made in God’s image and we should be good stewards of His wonderful creation.
@@gracepilditch9388 ,I agree but I'm just stating the facts. Us humans are technically animals. We are primates, we're related to monkeys, chimps, gorillas, etc. We should care for the Earth and Creation.

Genesis 1:27 says
God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them
And Genesis 2:7 says
Then the LORD God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.
He didn’t breathe life into animals. . He made us to be in relationship with Him. We’re unique and this is truly humbling that we can know the Living God through Jesus Christ.

@@MrFossil367ab45gfyth science has said that we’re related to animals through dna but though we were created the same day, we alone bear the image of GOD and alone can communicate with GOD. Animals do not have that ability nor the function to maintain control over the environment which HOD bestowed to us.

Took Hebrew passage and misapplied it. It speaks of Jesus. Not humanity.
