Pro tip: use a zip tie to loosely fix the serene arm to the horizontal top part of the arm to keep it from rotating all over the place and possibly hitting someone in the face :)
That was the first thing I noticed and I asked myself how someone could make an Easyrig Tips and Tricks video without paying attention to that flaw. AFAIK there is a rubber band included to archive what you described.
Hi awesome video, I just received my easyrig mini max with stabil light arm, I understand that the top arm needs to be in the “middle” balance holding the gimble+camera, but what about the back knob that controls the rope tension, what is the proper amount of tension of the rope? Are you supposed to let the rope be loose enough so the camera drops slightly? Or super tight? please help and thank you
Approach the camera from the operator side, why you hook on from assist side and spin it I’m not sure. The least spinning the better. Also I’d recommend against using a nota arm like that for your control handle, sort a harder mount as it’s a major point of contact. I understand you liking the camera further away but to avoid the pendulum look you get from easy rig footage tucking the camera into your body can give good results also. Try both.
Do you find that you operate the camera lightly with your fingertips once it's mounted, or do you still have to use a good hold on the camera the same as you would without using the easy rig?
I'm wondering, if you have a heavy camera rig and you're shooting handheld, the footage is more steady compared to a lightweight camera rig. Would it act the same as having this easyrig, making the footage more shaky because it's now a 'lighter' camera?
Thank you for all the information ! very helpful ! I have one question : what the weight capacity of the Serene that you have ? is that a 1-18 kg load ? Thanks
Stellar tutorial !! Bam!, subscribed! With that $10k++ camera rig, curious why you're not using a safety tether (steel cable) looping the red's cage to the Easyrig's clamp?
Nice man. Thanks for that video:) Could you make a video with easy-rig and gimbel together? I use gimbel and after Few hours i have pain in my back. So I looking for some Solutions that are not so expensive.

Same question!
Thanks for the video. I just bought an Easyrig
Does your side monitor control the RED Camera settings? If not what is your solution?

You should have a rubber band thing or some velcro straps that keep your placid arm from swinging around.

Great, thanks. How is manual focusing with the easy rig?
How do you guys ship this? Trying to find the right case to travel with it on a flight

what cheaper brands or models would you recommend as the first/beginners rig?
Hi would you opt for the stabil g2 or flowcine seren combo?
Protip,
Mount the camera onto a tripod and then secure/detach the easyrig clamp,
Allows for easier attaching.
the newest propellor hat
Thank you for all the information ! very helpful !

Thanks
This rig is about 9 kg; this EasyRig can support up to 17.23 kg, and the Serene Arm actually has an even greater max payload of 19.5 kg!
@@lensprotogo Thank you for the reply guys !
I used the same Easyrig on a documentary and It was great !
Now I'm adding it to my gear.
Any suggestions for setting the tension of the Flowcine Serene?

Someone needs to do a video explaining the differences from the Vario 5 to the Cinema 3 line.
Great video!
you can also extend the height of your easy rig
very informative, subbed
The serene arm?
Hi! Is it possible use easy rig for jib like type of shot? Smooth transition from low angle to hi?
What salad would you recommend?
Do you need the flowcine?
I tried the easy rig mini max but still felt a lot of pressure on my lower back, had to send it back. Any pointers?
You probably have to work out so you can support the camera weight on your body.

Is that better than the stabil?
It’s lighter but less travel. I dislike the stabil as it’s very top heavy and can be long however it all being one piece is convenient
How many Is it, Please.
I appreciate your efforts in making this but come to the point.
Really needed this video, great job! Thank you!
I would say damaging someone is worse than damaging a camera LOL!!
"even worse than human suffering.... camera gear destroyed" hahaha (paraphrasing of course)
