- Cora sees the truth in the eyes of her sister, she is able to see why Alice desires death instead of life, the reason is only one, love; Alice found true love just like she did, and she is able to see that like her, Alice is willing to do the ultimate sacrifice, just to be with the man who represents life itself, in all the senses.

You've captured one of my favorite movies so beautifully that it brings tears to my eyes, just remembering the ending. I have always enjoyed the love that was between Uncas and Alice. So pure, but not needing words to profess it.

Oooo I like the concept for this very much! I love how you made it from Cora's POV. I actually think Cora understood Alice's actions and why she jumped, I think in that moment she understood just how strong her little sister could be.

And I agree with you, I also think that Cora finally understood that Alice had her own sense of courage, maybe stronger and biggen than hers, Maybe Cora never knew that her sister were so brave; but after what she saw, she will never have doubts; and she must be really proud of her little sister.

CORA SEES THE TRUTH IN THE EYES OF HER SISTER… because the eyes are the mirror of our soul. I like THE LAST OF THE MOHICANS and I like Madeleine Stowe. She minds me her nice interpretation in REVENGE a film with Kevin Costner.
@spaztasticlol Is the scene when Alice died, just from a different angle, they showed more of Cora's pain after her sister's death; that is what I remember; it has some other scenes that you can find in the extended version in English
