Yeah, the fanbases were absolutey there and KC and M8 made this evening fabulous. But with 9 hours was too long also because of unnecessary delays … I was close to leave after T1 vs G2 but I am glad I stayed even if it meant I only got 5 sleep before heading to the airport in the morning. The atmosphere in the arena was insane and we definitely need more of these events but I currently doubt any other team than T1 would draw that crowds. But with LR and may be other such teams coming up there is hope LoL will be more than a T1 show (and I mean that with all the love we all have for that team) at some point in time. Joe Marsh was right when he said in his interview with David that Riot Games should tell more stories about players and other teams. I am so glad Joe made LR vs T1 happen on Sunday …
UA-cam was pretty high for RedBull When Caedrel is costreaming at this point we can just assume he will be larger than every other broadcast barring Riot's directly and even then he's beating it from time to time
This event was incredible, such a great showcase for all the development in EU. Have to admit I am pretty jealous of whats going on over there as well. Would be so hyped to have our own version of los ratones or KC. I guess that just comes from having a big personality step up and make a huge commitment or more regionally specific teams.
Get rid of 3-4 months regional leagues , and do more international events , it's better for competition and more hype , imagine getting T1 to play against european or americas teams more than twice in the year , red bull is killing it with these events , idk what the peak viewership is but id imagine it's pretty high considering T1 is involved.
I think the arena layout made it seem more than worlds. They had fans as close to the players as possible while not having more than one tier where as O2 had multiple tiers. I think I prefer crowd on the floor layout personally. Made for better walkouts!
highlights of the event: 1. baussi moments (baguette baddies / solobolo / sion special) 2. untara's teemo 3. T1 rekkles! DOFGR FAREWELL o7 4. 1V1 CAPS YONE 5. guma's chugging redbull can 6. arena was on fire!! to improve: 1. maybe nemesis for all ? more wacky games!! (1 or 2 srs games is ok) 2. delays, as a asian viewer, event ended 7am monday morning 3. security for the player's walkout (too close) 4. ending felt lackluster, they just filled the stage ww players and end ps - happy 1st month los ratones xdd merch goes crazy
I think the mix of 2 serious games was perfect and agree the delay sucked but that was likely due to some sort of technical issue they didn't see coming. Won't likely be an issue next year Security is an interesting one because you saw Rekkles beef up his personal security after the Faker grab, but beyond that it seemed fine. Not sure if they really lectured the crowd or not after that moment. Agreed on the ending, but overall a massive step up from last year and I'd imagine it will only get better as we go on!
If Riot were smart they would get AMP and RDC to play fun matches against NA All Stars. That would bring the kids in, they show up for the streamers. Tie Arcane into the event and NA could start seeing some growth.

Caedrel had 265k live viewers during the los Ratones game, while redbull only had 20k
