My counter argument for TL/FLY is they were going hard all year that letting them have a content drop right now is completely fine. Maybe it is on the org to build more reels and stuff but I wouldn't expect anything new. They could pull something from their boot camp right now. In the end I totally get where you're coming from though. I actually expect the other teams to maybe pull more weight here to drum up interest in their rosters.
Problem is that's not how content and social media work, speaking heavily from experience The bigger problem is we are going through an entire rebrand right now where I'd be willing to say the overwhelming major of NA fans likely do not know that it's swapped to the LTA. You have to promo the hell out of that from both Riot side and the teams
@@DavidSzajnuk Yeah totally agree how the system works and why they should. It's a weird situation where we talk about burnout but have to feed the machine at the same time because the landscape doesn't allow room for it.
@ that’s why you have multiple creators and players on staff so that you can cycle through breaks the same way a company has employees go on PTO or maternity/paternity leave I get we are still small business but we have to set it up that way
I mean what can I really say about them? They signed Licorice... great Beyond that they've done nothing to help bridget the information gap which is fine but this serves as the timestamp for the moment
I get the "Meh" feling for the C9 team and the content BUT we basically had a C9 player stream every day before the bootcamp which was really nice for me as a fan. So compared to other years our content and engagement with the players was really good.
@@dawnofraven3007 fair enough; I don’t pay attention to Twitch much other than what bleeds over to other platforms (mostly UA-cam which is content king for a reason) and it hasn’t for the most part
Talking about Rebellion, i think that (probably) bringing Ceos from the Brazilian League is also a huge move mediawise. If they can somehow tap into the brazilian league fanbase we are gonna see the org name grow a lot internationally
this is legit. the LTAS made a post asking which teams the brazilian fans are most expected to play against and allllllll the answers were flyquest, team liquid, and shopify. they wanna see their boy!

Nice Video David, I agree with most of what u say including the lack of content. For me C9 roster is just not it. They have the money to bring big names and create chemistry but seems to be happy being mediocre. Thanatos is an amazing player but the roster itself is lacking a lot. Shopify built a nice roster overall. Dig gave an opportunity for tier 1 league to Srrty so that's good but the rest of the roster is awful overall with keine bringing hype but I don't see the fit. Disguised made me happy by giving Castle another opportunity since he was the best player on such a elo hell team in imt but you got him a mediocre jungler and an average mid and adc? Hopefully abbe regains his 100T form. And as far as 100T, the team I supported the most, they deciding to sell is a bummer but even then instead of giving themselves a good shot at worlds they straight up downgraded their botlane. FBI is average and doesn't have potential and eyla is just an inter for me.
Obviously everything in life is subject to change so take this with a grain of salt: As much as I'd appreciate the offer, I would not take it. I value growing the IRL space whereever I am at and I will never be moving to Canada where Shopify not only has their roots but is also looking to stamp their name. If I were to join an org, they need to be willing to fully commit to helping me grow NYC's league space and grow a pocket of fandom here that could eventually expand beyond.
Not David using IMT's jersey as the bad news shirt. xD
Feels fitting

Gotta say, I’m interested in what Shopify can do this year. There’s a lot to keep me engaged with LTAN next year and I’m keen to see what happens
