Great line choices and cornering speed proving once again it’s 80% rider and 20% bike. It’s amazing that on a high speed track that a 230 could whip those more powerful bikes👍
That was a true demonstration of, “ It ain’t the bike, it’s the rider!” Fantastic ride. Not sure if you were running Sportsman 1 or 2, but I was thinking of lining up for the Sportsman 1 for the Big O HS in Indiantown in May, just to get my feet wet after not having raced for a couple of years, I sure hope FTR has Ego and Shattered Dream insurance for sale at sign up, I think I’m gonna need it! 😂😂😂. You have great skills, please post more.
Rode a CRF 230 years ago and had the best time. Plenty of power, can lug in corners, and I never got tired. Been a motocross guy, but as I have aged I only watch now. However, I want to get the new CRF250F and ride a Hare Scramble.
Awesome! Love an underdog. Im looking to buy a bike after many years away from it and I cancelled the 230 out until now. Sometimes less is more, particularly in these tight, twisty and loose conditions, and the rider is everything. Maybe the new 250 variant of his bike could be an awesome thing too! Thanks for posting.
The 230 is awesome. A 250 two stroke is an awesome bike to get back into riding. But if you want something a little tamer, the crf250f is a nice modern edition to this. But if you can’t find one the 230 is not much lesser of the two. Get back out there!
Do the other guys have throttles and brakes on their bikes or is this the Special Olympics? How the heck are you blowing these guys on the straight away? PS I would be in last place FWIW.
His just a good rider , also noticed how he ate bikes in tight sections , a powerful bike works against you . He also may have had perfect suspension set up and new rubber
@@lena19191 if you go through the comment section he claims to be running stock suspension. Impressive, because factory forks/rear leaves plenty to be desired.
@@MrIgottap I’m just guessing his suspension is stock , but it’s eating up bumps perfectly says to me his made changes to oil levels and I expect his running really good quality rubber tyres …but I could be wrong , his just a gun rider . I’ve met many guys on the worst bikes and still be some of the best riders on the day . I’m very impressed with the crf 230
Gun rider man !!!! ..I noticed a common ….you always got guys in corners and tight sections and under braking . Horse power is not your friend in tight sections . Btw your fitness is an Olympic level ..well done ✅
La moto Honda CRF230F es una moto para iniciar en el enduro pero ojo no enduro profesional más bien amateur y hacer campo traviesa, su chasis, suspensiones, motor no son pensados en un hard enduro más bien salir con amigos los fines de semana.

You're never too old for it, my dad will be 59 next month and he's still cranking along!
Dang. Impressive riding dude. I will tune in to watch ya race any day of the week.👍
Classic CRF 230 lines. Keeping the mo up!!~!
You riding that thing like a beast.
Very underrated bikes.

Que buen lugar! Muy buena para comenzar con la 230! Yo compre una hace poco y estamos aprendiendo, Saludos desde Córdoba Argentina!
Good job ! All about the rider !
I can’t imagine you on something fast, lol. Damn fine work
do a lot of dual sports compete in these hare scrambles? Also what category are you in?? you rip dude!
A couple have. This is the sportsman run what you bring type of classes ranges from a 85.. to a 690 ktm hahah
great vid,,fun doing it with less,,what did you do to the suspension? stock? i hope not....
Suspension is bone stock yeah. It’s not terrible in the Florida sand. The faster you go the more forgiving it is
I couldn't tell did you do a fork swap? if so can you tell me what forks and clamp you went with?
No fork swap. Just raced again Saturday and gopro got deleted. It was an awesome video. Sucks. Guess we race again!!
